Popstar due to appear on Celebrity Gogglebox in first ever reality TV appearance

Daily Mirror19-06-2025
Celebrity Gogglebox's cast is set to become even more star studded as a string of new names have been added to the upcoming series line-up including popstar Rag'n'Bone Man
A popstar is due to appear on the most recent series of Celebrity Gogglebox in his first ever reality TV appearance. Rag'n'Bone Man has had a successful music career so far but is now giving TV a go.
The singer, whose real name is Rory Graham, is appearing on the Channel 4 programme alongside another famous face. The 40-year-old will be sitting alongside TV star and comedian Romesh Ranganathan on the sofa as they watch and review the top television offerings of the week.

Romesh, 47, is a well-known face in the world of showbiz and has plenty of TV experience, hosting The Weakest Link as well as A League Of Their Own, The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, The Ranganation and much more.

Meanwhile, Rag'n'Bone Man's TV experience is slightly more limited – but the Human singer has acting credits in EastEnders, making a cameo appearance when he performed for The Queen Vic's pub-goers. Now, the duo will be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox together and shared a clip where they confirmed the news.
Romesh can be heard saying: "Hello I'm Romesh and this is Rory [Rag'n'Bone Man]. We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren't we?" Rag'n'Bone Man then added: "Yes we are, this Friday at 9pm."
Rag'n'Bone Man tied the knot with his long-term partner, Zoe, last year after a difficult road in their relationship. Zoe and the singer got married on Saturday 9 November 2024 in front of their closest friends and family members.
Ahead of the big day, a source said: "Rory is really down to earth and he and Zoe love their quiet life out of the spotlight. But the wedding won't be low-key, as they're having all their friends and family involved for a massive celebration, with a huge party afterwards."

Zoe and Rag'n'Bone man first got together back in 2020 but split for a time in 2021 due to the star's busy schedule. A source said at the time: "Things have been full-on for Rory around the release of his album and everything, so it has been difficult to spend a lot of time together. It hasn't worked out between them and they have called things off."
However, the split only lasted a few months as they rekindled their romance and by June 2024 they were engaged. This is the singer's second marriage as his first didn't work out.
The chart topping star was married before his now-wife but it was a short-lived relationship. He was first married to Beth Rouy in 2019 after they were in a relationship with each other for 10 years beforehand.
The former couple share a son together but their marriage broke down soon after they said their vows. Just six months after their wedding day was reported, the couple split and went their separate ways.

Killer John left reeling in Emmerdale as new Nate evidence comes to light

John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is in for a shock when it's revealed that Nate's death in Emmerdale is not all wrapped up in a bow as he thought – there's some damning evidence floating around that could yet bring him to justice. This is not good news and could mean all the hard work he put in framing dead man Owen for the murder was all for nothing. He's even managed to get Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) off his back after he came dangerously close to discovering the truth. Robert figured out that Owen had an alibi and that John had been to his house the day before he was found dead. But John carefully orchestrated things to discredit Robert in both the villagers' eyes and sister Vic's (Isabel Hodgins) both by portraying him as a scorned ex, and a threat to nephew Harry's safety. Now John just has to worry about the fact that actual, credible evidence is about to come to light. DC Cole puts Cain (Jeff Hordley) on edge when he's told they need to discuss Nate's murder. There is new evidence, which they need to discuss. Cain relays this to John, who is immediately struck with a sense of impending doom. It opens wounds for Cain and Tracy (Amy Walsh), who thought they could put the nature of Nate's death to bed and begin to work through their loss. But a fresh round of questioning reignites the pain. The elusive removal man is finally tracked down and suspicions are raised when Tracy shows him a photo and he doesn't recognise the man – Nate – who supposedly hired him. More Trending The police question him and he confirms it was in fact Owen who paid for his service. Of course, John has got involved here – it appears he has paid the man off. A surprise entrance at Yolande's hen do causes quite the stir in EastEnders

What's a hen do without a bit of unexpected drama, or, in this case, an actual bird? EastEnders fans are in for a chaotic treat as Yolande Truman's (Angela Wynter) hen party takes an unexpected turn this week when a cockerel crashes the celebrations in true Albert Square style. It all kicks off when Patrick Truman (Rudolph Walker) and Yolande, preparing for their big day, announce their choices for Best Man, Maid of Honour, and even their celebrant. Spirits are high as their loved ones come together to celebrate their long-awaited union, especially in the wake of Patrick's recent attack, which left him shaken but more determined than ever to focus on his and Yolande's relationship. But of course, it wouldn't be Walford without a bit of chaos. Things start to unravel with the arrival of Nigel and Julie, and their three pet chickens. While Julie throws herself into taking control of Nigel's care, Phil's not exactly thrilled to have chickens and Julie's strong opinions disrupting his household. With Julie calling the shots and changing Nigel's routine, it's not long before Phil starts to lose his patience. But the real chaos kicks off when Nigel forgets to close the chicken coop, and one very confident cockerel makes a break for it. Nigel, Julie, Phil and Lexi end up tearing around the Square trying to find the bird, but it turns out the cockerel has made it's way to the party. More Trending As the hen do is in full swing, with friends and family enjoying the celebration, the party is brought to a halt when the runaway cockerel makes a dramatic entrance. It's probably not exactly what Yolande had in mind for her big night, but it's certainly one she won't forget anytime soon. Meanwhile, Howie confronts Oscar in private after Jack has spent the day quizzing the pair. View More » As Yolande and Patrick's wedding day draws closer, hopefully, from here on out will be smooth sailing. But for now, the hen do will go down in Walford history, thanks to one rogue cockerel.
