Popstar due to appear on Celebrity Gogglebox in first ever reality TV appearance

Daily Mirror5 hours ago

Celebrity Gogglebox's cast is set to become even more star studded as a string of new names have been added to the upcoming series line-up including popstar Rag'n'Bone Man
A popstar is due to appear on the most recent series of Celebrity Gogglebox in his first ever reality TV appearance. Rag'n'Bone Man has had a successful music career so far but is now giving TV a go.
The singer, whose real name is Rory Graham, is appearing on the Channel 4 programme alongside another famous face. The 40-year-old will be sitting alongside TV star and comedian Romesh Ranganathan on the sofa as they watch and review the top television offerings of the week.

Romesh, 47, is a well-known face in the world of showbiz and has plenty of TV experience, hosting The Weakest Link as well as A League Of Their Own, The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, The Ranganation and much more.

Meanwhile, Rag'n'Bone Man's TV experience is slightly more limited – but the Human singer has acting credits in EastEnders, making a cameo appearance when he performed for The Queen Vic's pub-goers. Now, the duo will be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox together and shared a clip where they confirmed the news.
Romesh can be heard saying: "Hello I'm Romesh and this is Rory [Rag'n'Bone Man]. We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren't we?" Rag'n'Bone Man then added: "Yes we are, this Friday at 9pm."
Rag'n'Bone Man tied the knot with his long-term partner, Zoe, last year after a difficult road in their relationship. Zoe and the singer got married on Saturday 9 November 2024 in front of their closest friends and family members.
Ahead of the big day, a source said: "Rory is really down to earth and he and Zoe love their quiet life out of the spotlight. But the wedding won't be low-key, as they're having all their friends and family involved for a massive celebration, with a huge party afterwards."

Zoe and Rag'n'Bone man first got together back in 2020 but split for a time in 2021 due to the star's busy schedule. A source said at the time: "Things have been full-on for Rory around the release of his album and everything, so it has been difficult to spend a lot of time together. It hasn't worked out between them and they have called things off."
However, the split only lasted a few months as they rekindled their romance and by June 2024 they were engaged. This is the singer's second marriage as his first didn't work out.
The chart topping star was married before his now-wife but it was a short-lived relationship. He was first married to Beth Rouy in 2019 after they were in a relationship with each other for 10 years beforehand.
The former couple share a son together but their marriage broke down soon after they said their vows. Just six months after their wedding day was reported, the couple split and went their separate ways.

Oasis tour mania as Noel and Liam Gallagher pose together ahead of first gig

Noel and Liam Gallagher have posed up together for the first time since the Oasis global tour was announced. The brothers, were pictured as part of an Adidas promotional campaign which launched in an advert on Channel 4. Liam and Noel Gallagher have only been photographed together once in the last two decades in August last year, when they confirmed the reunion tour with a black and white shot which made headlines around the world. In April they started filming a new promo campaign for Adidas. Rather than make music the Gallaghers were all smiles as they were spotted arriving separately at a working men's club in Newington Green, London. It was understood at the time they were shooting promo material for Adidas as part of a new planned collaboration between the Gallaghers and the sports brand. Adidas will make their own Originals range based around the Oasis Live 25 tour. In the past both Liam and Noel have also released their own Adidas trainers and Noel has spoken in the past about being obsessed with trainers. Earlier in the day Adidas had teased the announcement on their social media channels sending fans into a frenzy. Oasis split following a backstage bust-up between the Gallaghers at Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. But thankfully the brothers have now made up and it is believed Liam made the first move to patch things up. On X Liam said last year: "I called him but don't tell anyone as I do t wont folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x." The reply laced with humour was typical of Liam's responses on social media. Last week Noel Gallagher told pals he was surprised how good the band are sounding in rehearsals. On Oasis, U2 frontman Bono said: "I love them. I just love them. And what I really love is this, the sort of preciousness that had gotten a part of what was called indie music. They just blew it out. "And there was just a swagger. The sound of getting out of the ghetto, not glamorising it. And they're both funny, funny, funny. "I'm still very close with Noel. And he got a message to me, and he says that he's kind of shocked by how great the band is. So I think we're going to have a good summer.' Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together in public, since the band split nearly two decades ago, on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. There will also be dates in Manchester, London and Dublin as part of the tour. Liam and Noel posed in a photo together when the full details of their first shows in 16 years were announced on August 27 - sparking pandemonium amongst fans. In a joint statement on behalf of Oasis, the brothers said: 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.' In a video to promote the comeback, Liam is also heard saying: "When we both come together, you have greatness." Noel says: "I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening."

Nina and Summer in Corrie witness horror incident that stuns them to silence

A midsummer party turns into a drug-fuelled nightmare for some of Coronation Street's usually more well-behaved residents in upcoming episodes – and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) are involved in a horrific incident. The party is at the home of the Alahans, where Aadi (Adam Hussain) has lately been bemoaning the fact that his life is a bit dull. To spice up his life he decides to throw a party, and Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) suggests a midsummer theme, because of it being midsummer and she loves a bit of a pagan vibe. Summer and Nina opt for some floral headwear as a nod to the occasion, while Brody (Ryan Mulvey) decides that nothing is more likely to get the party started and his bank balance boosted than supplying a few illegal drugs to the party-goers. Aadi spots him trying to sell LSD and throws him out, though Brody doesn't leave without a fight. It's not his first run-in with Aadi, after all. Once he's gone, Aadi, Summer and Nina prepare to sample the drugs, although Aadi is distracted by a commotion and his share ends up being taken by someone else – with shocking results. Later, feeling the effects of the LSD, Nina and Summer leave the party and head towards the cafe. Nina lets them into the darkened establishment – and it's there that things take a sinister turn. As they're freaked out by the sound of sirens in the street they cling to each other in terror as a terrifying scene unfolds. The next day they're shell-shocked and try to make sense of what happened the night before. Retracing their steps, they try to piece together what happened. Unable to get the answers they're hoping for, they make a pact to keep the incident to themselves, knowing that they could get into huge trouble. More Trending Nina, however, is so troubled by what happened that she talks to her uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson), telling him that she took hallucinogenic drugs at the party. She says her memories of what happened don't entirely make sense to her, but Roy urges her to tell the police what she remembers, as it's clear that something very troubling happened that evening.
