Denise Richards has been granted a restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, after she accused him of abusing her.
In court documents filed on Wednesday, the Wild Things actor details several alleged violent altercations she has had with the Leap actor, including him threatening to kill her and himself if she ever reported him to the cops, according to website TMZ.
'Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack,' Richards reportedly writes in the documents, per Page Six.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, also claims Phypers, 52, bruised her eye during one of his attacks in 2022.
At the time, Richards alleges in the documents that she and her ex were at his Malibu, California, workplace, when he 'became paranoid' that the plants he purchased 'contained listening devices'.

The mum of three then claims Phypers called her a 'f**king bitch' while hitting her in the eye with the palm of his hand.
In another incident, Richards claims Phypers allegedly became violent after she suggested he didn't accompany her on a work trip.
'Aaron grabbed me by the back of my head by my hair and slammed me into the ground and screamed, 'You are not cancelling my flight, I am going with you and I do not trust you,'' she writes in the documents.
Richards also included photos of her bruised arms, which she claims came from her estranged husband.
Per TMZ, Phypers has been ordered to stay around 100 metres from Richards and her property, including her home and car.
Their next restraining order hearing is scheduled for August 8.

As Page Six previously reported, Phypers filed for divorce on July 7 after six years of marriage.
He listed their separation date as July 4 and cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split.
Phypers also requested that the court grant him spousal support.
A source told the Daily Mail last week that Richards and Phypers were 'toxic' and constantly fighting.
'They have been having trouble for some time, but they had a row over the weekend where they basically were like, 'F**k you,' and he marched off to file for divorce,' the insider claimed.
Days after filing for divorce, Phypers was seen running errands without his wedding ring on.
The reality star and Phypers tied the knot in September 2018.

Teddi Mellencamp 'really upset' by online comments about her hair

Teddi Mellencamp was "really upset" after she was told she looked prettier with "long hair" before her cancer diagnosis. The 43-year-old reality star has been battling stage four melanoma - which has metastasised to both her brain and lungs - and she has undergone surgery, radiation and immunotherapy as part of her treatment, which caused hair loss, and Teddi has now admitted a cruel online comment about her appearance sent her into a downward spiral. She told Glamour magazine: "With the hair, it's weird the things that would upset me. People would write to me: 'Why did you shave your head?' "I remember getting really upset by it because I'd be like: 'I lost my hair. I shaved the parts that I didn't lose' ... "Those little comments can sometimes get to you ... For a stranger to write to me on the internet and say: 'Why would you shave your head? You were so pretty with long hair' It would hurt me inside." Teddi went on to add: "One, this wasn't a choice. Two, why would you write that? Now I just really don't have the patience for it. "Some days I'm having a cute shaved-head day, and I don't want to wear a wig. And some days, I'm like, This is absolutely a wig day. Today was a wig day." The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member went on to admit she's "gotten pretty used to being bald" but went she initially worried about her appearance when came out of hospital after surgery. She explained: "Thankfully, I've gotten pretty used to being bald. I remember just getting out of the hospital and thinking that I needed a spray tan. And I colored my hair ... "These are the things that you do. There was so much of my identity tied to how I physically looked. Now it's more tied to how I physically feel." Teddi recently told fans she's starting to see her hair start to come back and even shared before-and-after images on Instagram showing visible regrowth over a month-long period. In the post, she wrote: "It's amazing what my body can do ... I noticed a real change in my hair regrowth. "Cancer comes with so many emotions: anger, sadness, loneliness. And while I feel grateful that immunotherapy is saving my life, I feel like I live in a fog, and I can't help but beat myself up on all of the ways I am falling short. I just desperately want to be back to my usual self."

Kate Beckinsale's mother Judy Loe dies after 'immeasurable suffering'

Kate Beckinsale feels "paralysed" following the death of her mother Judy Loe. The 51-year-old actress has been caring for her mom since she was diagnosed with stage four cancer last year and she has been left devastated after Judy, 78, passed away on Tuesday (15.07.25) after "immeasurable suffering". Kate shared the sad news in a post on Instagram, writing: "I don't want to post this. I am only posting this because I have had to register my mother's death certificate and it will soon become public record. "She died the night of July 15th in my arms after immeasurable suffering. I have not picked all the best photos, nor the best videos, because I cannot bear to go through my camera roll yet. "I deeply apologise to any of her friends who are finding out this way or through the press, but I cannot go through her phone. I am paralysed." Kate went on to add of her mother: "Jude was the compass of my life, the love of my life, my dearest friend. "The vastness and huge heart of this tiny woman has touched so many people who love her dearly. She has been brave in so many ways, forgiving sometimes too much, believing in the ultimate good in people and the world is so dim without her that it is nearly impossible to bear." The actress concluded her post by writing: "Mama, I love you so much. This has been my greatest fear since finding my father dead at five and I am here. Oh my Mama ... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I am so sorry." Kate's actor father Richard Beckinsale died after suffering a heart attack when she was just five years old. Judy went on to marry director Roy Battersby, and Kate was left heartbroken by his death last year. The Shooting Fish star previously admitted she will always be "haunted" by the loss of both father figures in her life. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Finding my father's dead body alone in the middle of the night at the age of five shaped my entire life. Seeing my beloved stepfather die a year ago today will haunt me forever. "It does seem terribly careless to have managed to be present for both deaths and unable to prevent either, the second time trying with every single thing I had. It was not enough. "In the process of losing my beloved Roy I lost family, friendships, at some points my own health, and all the money I had due to how disgusting the American healthcare system is for those who are not insured. "I would do it again. No question. I cannot help feeling that I dreadfully failed - but I am trying to console myself today with all the preparation that he did in the last years of his life, how deeply he studied and practised as a Jungian and how thin the veil is between the energy of this life and whatever is next, that some part of him was at peace with it. "It does feel like a lie I am telling myself to try and feel better, however. Perhaps I am just unfortunately not enlightened enough to sell that to myself over my sense of loss, guilt and failure."

The money and magic of Suaalii Inc

Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii made the short walk to his parked matte black Land Rover Defender on Lansdowne Street in Sydney's trendy inner-city suburb of Surry Hills. He'd just spent the day at a photo shoot for GQ magazine, dressed in more than $35,000 worth of luxury fashion goods and was carrying three tangerine-coloured Louis Vuitton shopping bags full of clothes back to his car. In a video uploaded to his Instagram from that day, the 21-year-old flashed more than $140,000 worth of goods in just one minute and 49 seconds. Though he's paid millions to play rugby, he likely kept the clothes for free. He'd arrived at Debut Studios earlier that day wearing a $225 jumper – a bargain compared to the outfits he would change into. In one shot, Suaalii wears a $3,500 baby-blue mohair sweater paired with jeans worth $3,150 and sneakers that cost $845 for each shoe. On his wrist, a stainless-steel watch worth $35,000. In another, a rugby polo, only this one costs $2,620, described as taking a 'chic twist' on the sportswear. In an ironic detail from that day, Debut Studios sits in Suite 61 on the sixth floor of the building. As Suaalii walks into frame, he looks out of an open window, offering a direct view of the Sydney Roosters club grounds he left last year for a deal with Rugby Australia worth $5.4 million. He turns back around, fixes his $2,000 shirt and faces the camera. Although being a teen sporting prodigy and achieving early career success on the field has increased the commercial value of Suaalii's name, there's more that separates his brand's capacity for profit from his teammates. Professor in sport management Adam Karg said what you look like, who you know, and how you behave are also significant in a brand choosing you to work with, especially one worth as much as Louis Vuitton's $51 billion brand. 'In order to be able to commercialise that brand, you do need, rightly or wrongly, a really strong set of eyeballs. Essentially, you need to be able to generate media interest,' Karg said. 'Now, that can come through physical appearance. It can come through, obviously, on the field, performance being a degree of that as well, and then really you need a brand to see something in you that connects with them and their audience.'
