Who was Salman Khan's grandmother? Succumbed to death due to…,Salim Khan kept away from his mother after.., her name was…
In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, it's usually the picture-perfect and dazzling lives of celebrities that take center stage. However, what happens behind the scenes, the struggles and challenges, are usually swept under the carpet. One such similar tale is of Bollywood's superstar Salman Khan. As soon as we think of Salman Khan, aka 'Bhai Jaan of Bollywood', we think of his impeccable success, stardom, and wealth. But behind his sparkling life, there is one lesser-known story of the tragic past of Salim Khan, Salman's father, and the woman who never got to witness her grandson's success: Salman Khan's grandmother. Who was Salman Khan's Grandmother?
Once, Salim Khan, Salman's father, in a heartfelt revelation, opened up about the challenges he faced early in his childhood. He shared that while he was just four years allowed, he wasn't allowed to be near his mother as she was suffering from a highly contagious disease at the time, tuberculosis (TB). In the throwback interview, Salim shared that due to his mother's illness, he couldn't receive the maternal warmth that every child deserves. Unfortunately, his mother couldn't survive for long and passed away when Salim was only nine. This brief connection with his mother left him with a deep void that nobody could fill. Salim Khan Lost His Father Too
What's even sadder is that emotional turmoil and challenges didn't stop for Salim. After 5 years of losing his mother, he met another cruel blow. He lost his father, Abdul Rashid Khan, too, at the tender age of 14. Salim Khan was orphaned. This immense loss at such an early age left Salim Khan with a great emotional void and sensitivity. At a tender age, he had to navigate his life all by himself without the shield of his parents, a very difficult and challenging situation for anyone.
However, Salim Khan did not lose hope. He carved a niche for himself, garnering a lot of love and attention. Today, Salman Khan fans are quite aware of his Khan clan, his siblings Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, and their careers in Bollywood, as well as his brothers-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma. But very few knew about Salman Khan's grandmother, Siddiqa Bano Khan, who was battling a fatal disease.

As per predictions, it will premiere on Netflix around late September or early October. The final confirmation about exact OTT release date from Netflix is still awaited. Amid huge demand for Saiyaara tickets over the weekend, the movie witnessed capacity constraints even though more shows were added. Compared to other top stars' movies this year, the movie had a smaller release. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who gave the movie 4.5 star rating, in a post on X stated, 'Saiyaara is achieving is both UNIMAGINABLE and UNPRECEDENTED… The film is in rampage mode – not just across metros, but also in Tier-2 and Tier-3 centres... Midnight shows are being added to meet the overwhelming demand." Saiyaara has broken the records of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer 'Kabir Singh' which raked in ₹ 71 crores net in India during first weekend, although the 2019 movie saw a bigger release than Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda movie. Marking the biggest first weekend for an Indian romantic drama film, the movie did a business of ₹ 83 crore net at the domestic box office during 3-day run in theatres, defying expectations and predictions. Mohit Suri in an interview with Pinkvilla revealed that he was initially planning to make Aashiqui 3 with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt but eventually the story came to be titled Saiyaara. Mohit Suri stated, 'I know, they have a very sensitive relationship. They are friends at times, and then they are not. So, I thought of this idea for Aashiqui 3, which is now Saiyaara. But they were in a hurry and wanted to announce, which is something I was not comfortable with. I prefer in having a script first and then make an announcement. But to sum it up, yes, this idea was originally for Aashiqui 3.'

Shehnaaz Gill Snaps At Paps Trying To Film Her While Fixing Mini Dress

Last Updated: Shehnaaz Gill attended Honey Singh's luxury watch launch in Mumbai. A viral video shows her adjusting her dress and asking photographers for space. Shehnaaz Gill found herself at the centre of a viral moment over the weekend after attending an event in Mumbai, where she appeared visibly uncomfortable with the media's intrusion. The actress was present at the launch of rapper Honey Singh's luxury watch brand on Saturday. While she arrived looking stunning in a sleeveless, glittery mini dress, Gill also got upset with the paparazzi trying to click her. A video doing the rounds on social media shows Shehnaaz sitting on a sofa, subtly adjusting the hemline of her short dress. As she tried to maintain her poise, photographers surrounding her continued to click pictures and record videos without giving her space or privacy. In response, the actress is heard telling the paparazzi, 'Arey bhai ruk jao, side ho jao." Though Shehnaaz kept a smile on her face, her expressions hinted discomfort and frustration. The video was captioned online as 'Shehnaaz Gill Oops moment," which many fans found disrespectful. Take a look here: While some social media users lauded Shehnaaz for handling the situation with dignity, others criticised her outfit. Comments such as, 'Phnti kyu ho aesi dress jo oops moments ka saamna karna pare" and 'Khud ko comfortable nahi lag raha to kyu pehnati ho yeh kapde" flooded the comments section. However, many also came to her defence. 'Shame on society, shame on media," one user wrote. Professionally, Shehnaaz was last seen in a cameo for the song Sajna Ve Sajna in the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri-starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. She made her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Up next, she stars in Sab First Class and Ikk Kudi. The latter also marked her debut as a film producer. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
