Netflix fans convinced they've identified Tyler's new master after Wednesday Season 2 part 1 finale

Daily Mirrora day ago
Wednesday season two part one left subscribers on the edge of their seats as it saw the return of Tyler Galpin, aka the Hyde.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Wednesday seasons one and two.

Wednesday season two could see Tyler Galpin serving a new master, and it might be someone completely unexpected.

Netflix viewers were left stunned when it was revealed that Tyler Galpin (portrayed by Hunter Doohan) was the Hyde terrorising Nevermore Academy in the first series three years ago.

Fast-forward to the second series of Wednesday, and after being freed from Willow Hill by his former master Laurel Gates (played by Christina Ricci) and fatally stabbing her, Tyler is now on the loose.
However, with Laurel no longer alive, it's uncertain who will step into her shoes as his next master, although some fans reckon they've figured it out.
While Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is preoccupied with investigating the murderous crows, her classmate Bianca Barclay (Joy Sunday) is assisting her mum Gabrielle (Gracy Goldman) in avoiding prison.

She had been residing with the cult Morning Song after marrying its leader Gideon, using her siren powers to con people out of their money, but the FBI is now on the group's tail.
In an effort to shield her mum, Bianca stashed Gabrielle in a hotel, and even though she was later apprehended by the police, the former managed to convince them to release her and made a run for it.

Bianca, Gabrielle and Ajax (Georgie Farmer) were then skulking around Nevermore as they sought a temporary hiding place for her.
Wednesday season two is only halfway through and so far, Gabrielle's storyline remains disconnected from the main plot of the Netflix sensation.
However, could Gabrielle be woven into a more significant role in the upcoming episodes as Tyler's new master?

Not only does she possess siren abilities that enable her to influence others more effectively, but Gabrielle has also recently emerged from a fraudulent cult, meaning her moral compass isn't exactly straight.
Alternatively, some viewers are speculating that Bianca herself might become Tyler's controller.

She too possesses siren capabilities which she previously employed to send Tyler to sleep during the season one finale, demonstrating her past ability to manipulate him.
Taking to Reddit, one user posted: "We know from the description of The Hyde that they get a master via hypnosis, or chemical induction.
"Thornhill used chemicals to break him into being her slave, but the only person in the show to ever hypnotise him was Bianca when she put him to sleep in the opening of episode eight."
Nevertheless, others believe that Wednesday herself could be next in line to command Tyler, though given his loathing for her, this won't be an easy task.

Cristiano Ronaldo is officially engaged to Georgina Rodriguez (Image: georginagio/Instagram) Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to have spent a small fortune on his dazzling engagement ring for fiancée Georgina Rodriguez as fans can't believe the size of it. The football icon, 40, finally popped the question after almost a decade and two children later. They have long faced questions as to when they would finally walk down the aisle, with Cristiano now making the all important move. The couple had teased fans with a potential engagement after Georgina, 31, was spotted with a huge diamond on her finger. Neither had officially confirmed or denied if it was an engagement ring, with Cristiano revealed he hadn't asked for her hand in marriage because the timing wasn't 'quite right'. The couple racked up thousands of compliments and congratulations from their fans, while others had plenty to say on the ring. Georgina flashed a massive diamond that took up almost half of her ring finger. It featured one stunning stone that glistened on the white bedsheets while Cristiano place his hand underneath. Talk quickly turned to the price of the stunning jewel as one said: "For how much? That must have cost a backpack." Others were more taken aback by the size of the ring as someone exclaimed: "That rock." Another went further as they added: "A glacier!" Someone else commented: "Incredible, had to be the best in the world." A fifth joked: "Pretty small diamond." While one fan took issue with the practical side of things as they shared: "The ring is too big, it will make you uncomfortable when washing dishes." Another quipped: "Surely that's AI?! Who in their mind wants a boulder on their finger?!" "Surely that's photoshopped. I've no doubt he can afford something that big but WHY?!," wrote someone else. "This isn't coming from a place of jealousy that ring is too much," shared a social media user. Despite the criticism, Georgina seemed thrilled with the ring as she said: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives." On her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, she revealed her friends are always asking about wedding plans. She admitted: "They're always joking about the wedding. 'When is the wedding?' Since Jennifer Lopez's song The Ring Or When came out, they started singing it to me. And well, this is not up to me." The couple met at a Gucci store in 2016, with the ex-Manchester United superstar admitting that it was a case of love at first sight. "She's a fantastic person. Yes, it is [true love]. Yes, it was [like magic meeting for the first time]. Gio is part of me. She helps me so much.," he told Piers Morgan in an interview in 2019. "Of course, I'm in love with her. She's the mum of my kids. I'm so passionate for her. She's my friend, we have conversations. I open my heart to her. "She opened her heart to me. [She's the greatest love of my life]... Why not [get married]. Not now! Not in this interview. Why not, one day... We'll one day, for sure. It's my mum's dream." When celebrating Georgina's birthday earlier this year, Cristiano appeared to hint he had taken that next step. He posted on social media: "For the mother, partner, friend, my wife... happy birthday, love. Your light illuminates us and your love infects us." Some call the Sussexes' Netflix deal a demotion - but the company still sees them as a power couple

While we're all desperate to know what this new deal is really worth in dollars and pounds, one thing I can tell you for certain is that Prince Harry and Meghan want us to know they're delighted that Netflix again wanted to get a deal done. "Absolutely over the moon" is how it was described to me. But they'll also be aware of the attention it'll attract as we all try to pick apart what it means. Image: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. Pic: Jake Rosenberg/Netflix Firstly because of that ongoing fascination in how they're making money since stepping away from royal life and losing financial support from the King, but also because of the recent reports that Netflix were intending to cut ties. Yes this is a different type of deal from their original one in 2020. Some have argued that a "first look deal" looks like a demotion from what they previously signed up to. With no real clarity on how much their original deal was worth, and no numbers being publicly thrown around this time, that is hard to judge. But talking to those who know something about these kinds of deals you do get a sense it could potentially be more lucrative than it looks on face value. With first look deals, yes there is often financial commitments from the likes of Netflix to get that first exclusive look at projects and first refusal. For example, when the Obamas signed a first look deal with Netflix, the streaming service agreed to pay the operational costs for their production company "Higher Ground". Could it be that Netflix are also now covering the costs of Archewell Productions? Follow the World Listen to The World with Richard Engel and Yalda Hakim every Wednesday Tap to follow It's stating the obvious to say that Harry and Meghan continue to divide opinions, some wanting to watch their programmes from a place of respect and fondness, others as a reason to grumble about them. But signing on this latest dotted line shows Netflix still sees them as a power couple, who attract significant attention and are worthy of investment, whatever that really adds up to.

What to expect on Netflix thanks to Harry and Meghan's new deal

Harry and Meghan have given the streaming giant first options on their output from Archewell Productions. Here is what to expect from the couple on Netflix in the coming months: – With Love, Meghan – Season 2 The second instalment of Meghan's lifestyle show will debut later in August. Netflix said: 'Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery.' It promises 'playful cooking challenges' and 'DIY projects', adding: 'Meghan and her guests explore bold flavours, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life.' The show, Netflix says, is 'all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together'. Season one was not, however, well received by critics and the show has a 3.2 rating out of 10 on – With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration The special holiday episode of With Love, Meghan will air in December. Netflix invites viewers to 'join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration'. The then-prince of Wales, then-duke and duchess of Cambridge, and the Sussexes attend the Christmas Day morning church service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham in 2018 (Joe Giddens/PA) It adds: 'Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home. 'It's a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy.' The Sussexes used to spend Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham but Harry and Meghan, who moved to the US five years ago, last did so in 2018. Harry is estranged from his brother the Prince of Wales after a bitter fallout and has a troubled relationship with his father the King. – Meet Me At The Lake The 'romance feature' is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Carley Fortune. 'This romantic drama follows a decade-spanning love story that begins with a chance encounter and a broken promise,' Netflix says. No date has been announced for the project – news of which first emerged two years ago. The story deals with mental health, postnatal depression and childhood trauma over losing a parent in a car crash, with some of the themes said to have similarities with Harry and Meghan's own experience. – Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within The new documentary short, by Campfire Studios in Association with Wontanara Productions and Archewell Productions, will focus on a tiny orphanage in Uganda which was borne out of the HIV/Aids crisis. Harry and Meghan are listed among the producers and the documentary will be released later this year. The duke only recently stepped down from Sentebale, the charity he founded nearly 20 years ago to help children orphaned by Aids in Lesotho, following a boardroom battle with its chairwoman. Prince Harry during the opening of the Sentebale Mamohato children's centre in Thaba Bosiu, Lesotho, in 2015 (Ian Vogler/Daily Mirror/PA) Harry, who was left devastated by the development and who is considering starting a new humanitarian charity, vowed to continue his commitment to supporting youngsters in the region. Netflix says: 'In the heart of Uganda's Masaka region, where the shadows of the HIV/Aids crisis linger, a small orphanage becomes a beacon of hope. 'Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within goes beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging, and the promise of a brighter future.' It is not known whether Harry and Meghan will feature in the documentary. – Future projects Archewell Productions says it is 'in active development on additional projects with Netflix that span a variety of content genres'. The Sussexes' contract has been described as a 'multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects'.
