ITV have broken their silence on Ian Wright's row with Eni Aluko.
And the broadcaster threw their support behind the Arsenal legend.

Aluko accused Wright of "blocking" pathways for women in football punditry.
The former Lioness apologised for her comments - but Wright refused to accept it.
And now ITV - for whom both Wright and Aluko have worked as pundits - have issued a statement to stand by the ex-Match of the Day analyst.
ITV said in a statement: "Ian's standing in the sport is beyond question.
"As one of the UK's most respected and much-loved footballers and sporting broadcasters, with a career spanning nearly four decades, Ian is an incredible advocate, ally and brilliant broadcaster of women's football from a grassroots level as well as at the highest international competitions."
The statement will put in doubt Aluko's future in punditry, especially with ITV with Wright a popular figure.
The broadcaster hold exclusive live rights to England men's World Cup qualifiers in June.
They also share the rights with the BBC for the European Women's Championship in Switzerland, where England will hope to retain their crown.

Tristan Stubbs dug in, contributing eight to a stand of 24 with Markram lasting nearly an hour before he was bowled by Mitchell Starc. Bedingham settled South Africa's nerves in partnership with Markram as the pair put on 35 in 10 patient overs. Markram's brilliant innings finally came to an end when he whipped Josh Hazlewood into the leg side but was superbly taken low to his right by Travis Head. The fielder's lack of celebration suggested that the game was up and – though there was a final moment of drama when Verreynne gloved Starc through to Carey but was given not out, with Australia's reviews spent – the winning run came two balls later.

The 29-year-old has made a series of high-profile errors which have prompted speculation that United could look to offload him and sign a replacement. The report adds that Turkish club Galatasaray have made contact with Martinez after veteran goalkeeper Fernando Muslera left the club, but the Argentine wants to remain in the Premier League. It is claimed that Martinez is 'waiting on a call' from United, who are 'holding off' at the moment as they have not managed to sell Onana yet. And Martinez's former coach Neil Cutler, who worked with the goalkeeper at Villa, has backed him to be a success at Old Trafford. Cutler and Martinez remain close friends and he told the Sun last month: "This summer is pivotal for Emi in terms of his career. He's been voted the best goalie in the world twice and there seems to be an opportunity for him this summer, with all of his options open. "Big clubs are queuing up to speak to him and he either stays at a massive club like Villa or he goes to a truly world-class club. I don't think it's about money with Emi so I don't think he is ready to move to Saudi yet. "If he does move it would be to a much bigger club — one of the really big-hitters like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico... or even Manchester United. United can't offer him Champions League football but the sheer size of the club and the size of the challenge might appeal to Emi. "Emi has the confidence required to play for a massive club like United and would feel he could affect the club in a really positive way. He would look at United and say: 'Right, I can make this place better. I can help this club get back to where it was'."
