
Kerala's Sylcon deploys Staqu Tech's JARVIS AI solution to power retail store operations
'This collaboration marks a significant step in Sylcon's digital transformation journey as it leverages artificial intelligence to drive smarter store operations, enhance customer experience, and unlock operational agility,' Staqu Technologies said in a statement.
With the integration of JARVIS, Sylcon now receives daily footfall analytics across all its retail outlets, enabling managers to plan staffing, product placement, and promotional campaigns based on customer movement patterns.
The platform also offers real-time conversion tracking—allowing the retailer to monitor performance at store, department, and even shelf-level, ensuring faster response times and data-informed decision-making.

BlackRock's crypto holdings top $100 billion; Bitcoin dominates portfolio
Global asset management company BlackRock's cryptocurrency holdings hit $104 billion as of August 14, 2025, achieving a major milestone in its digital asset strategy, according to an analysis from Finbold. The findings are based on blockchain data from intelligence platform Arkham. ADVERTISEMENT The findings show that BlackRock's portfolio currently includes $89.27 billion in Bitcoin (743,310 BTC) and $14.71 billion in Ethereum (3.2 million ETH). This represents a $49.15 billion net increase since the start of 2025, when the firm's crypto holdings stood at $54.83 billion, comprising $51.16 billion in BTC and $3.59 billion in ETH. While Bitcoin continues to dominate, accounting for over 85% of the total portfolio, Ethereum has seen the most dramatic growth. At the start of the year, BlackRock held roughly 1.07 million ETH worth $3.59 billion, the findings revealed. By June 30, that figure had risen to $4.21 billion, and in just six weeks since, the position has more than tripled to $14.71 billion, a 198% increase in ETH volume and a 309% surge in dollar value since January.'This level of accumulation, particularly in Ethereum, is strategic,' said Jordan, Chief Editor at Finbold and author of the research. Uttarakhand passes stricter anti-conversion bill with heavy penalties, digital propaganda ban
Taking a tough stand on illegal conversion, the Uttarakhand State Cabinet has approved the Uttarakhand Freedom of Religion (Amendment) Bill on Wednesday, under which strong provisions have been added for stringent penalties on illegal conversion, a ban on propaganda through digital media and protection of victims. The bill was passed during a meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The state government said that this law will protect the religious rights of citizens, prevent conversion by fraud, inducement or pressure and maintain social harmony. Earlier, on Wednesday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Yoga Park and other development works in Kedarpuram under Dehradun Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, he launched the AI chatbot 'Nigam Sarathi' and also unveiled the document of Green Policy. The Chief Minister planted a Rudraksha sapling under the name of Ek Ped Maa Naam, which was the one lakhth sapling planted this year under the Municipal Corporation area of Dehradun under the massive plantation campaign run by the government. In the programme, the Chief Minister also honoured the Swachhata Samman Senand Tax Inspectors. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also administered a collective oath for de-addiction.
