The concerned mum-of-four wrote: "So. More of a public service announcement than a post really but as we all know, life with kids is anything but predictable..
"So, after spending the night in hospital (I swear they'll start charging us rent soon) after Rufus decided to snack on a plant in the garden — one I didn't even know was dangerous. All hell let loose.
"Within minutes his tongue had started to swell, he was screaming & we had to call 999. (As always -
NHS
heroes, honestly.)
"Thankfully he's absolutely fine now 🙏🏼 but it turned out the culprit was Italian Arum, a really common plant with bright orange berries that looks innocent but is seriously toxic if ingested."

Celebs Go Dating agents reveal the ‘real reason' Christine McGuiness quit the E4 show and admit it was a ‘brave' move

THE CELEBS Go Dating agents have revealed the "real reason" Christine McGuinness quit the E4 show just weeks into the process. The model - who was married to comedian Paddy McGuinness, 51, until their split in 2022 - signed up alongside six other famous faces in the bid to find love and get help on their dating life. 5 The Celebs Go Dating agents revealed the 'real reason' for Christine McGuinness' exit Credit: Channel 4 5 The model quit the E4 show after a short stint Credit: Instagram/mrscmcguinness 5 Anna Williamson said Christine's decision to join the show took 'bravery' Credit: Instagram But early into the process, Christine, 37, announced that she had quit after becoming "overwhelmed" with the attention on her love life and missing her family. In an exclusive interview, love gurus Anna Williamson, Paul C. Brunson and Dr Tara opened up Christine's sudden exit when The Sun visited the Celebs Go Dating agency ahead of the new series. Anna admitted Christine's decision to join the show after her public split was a "brave" move, and it equally took courage for her exit the process after discovering it "wasn't the right time" for her. Anna explained: "It wasn't the right time for Christine to continue her journey in the agency. "I think this is the absolute beauty of what the Celebrity Dating agency does - yes it's a TV show, but it's also real. "What myself, Paul, Dr Tara do, we are not scripted, our skill sets are something we very much practice on the outside as well as within the agency construct. "And for Christine it was very brave that she wanted to dip her toe back into the world of dating and throughout the process of us getting to know her, she realised that perhaps this actually wasn't quite the right time for her to be doing that and took a great deal of confidence and bravery inside to recognise and actually now is not the right time." Anna said that viewers will get to see a different side to Christine and revealed the mum-of-three did in fact go on dates during her short stint on the show. "Christine is a fascinating woman and I think viewers are going to really empathise with everything she brings to us and the show and the Dating Agency," Anna continued. "And Christine for the short amount of time she was with us, she wanted to date and date she did." Inside the Celebs Go Dating house with Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara ahead of the new series CGD EXIT The Sun revealed that Christine decided to quit the show in a surprise move. In a statement, Christine said: 'I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me. 'They've said the door is always open for me, which I'm so grateful for, but for now I'm returning home to my family.' Christine had spent a few days in Ibiza filming for the show with stars including Kerry Katona and Olivia Hawkins. Pals told The Sun she was looking forward to moving on and potentially finding love again. At the time, a source said: 'Christine has been through so much but she's ready to move on. 'When she signed up to Celebs Go Dating the production team were told she was open to dating women as well as men. 'Taking part in a TV show about finding love is all new for Christine but she's just having fun and is enjoying herself.' However those close to Christine said since she flew to Ibiza, she had struggled with putting her private life on camera. A friend added: 'Christine has decided that some things are important for her to keep private. 'She thought signing up to Celebs Go Dating was a good idea at first but now she feels overwhelmed by the attention. 'Christine has stepped away from the show and they have been really supportive of her and her decision. 'Her wellbeing was their main priority and Christine is looking forward to getting home to be with her family.' Christine and her ex, comedian Paddy McGuiness announced they had separated in 2022 after 15 years together. The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 33. Two years later, he popped the question and they married in 2011 at Merseyside's Thornton Manor Estate. The TV personality delighted her former co-stars when she made a surprise return to the series' finale in June. A insider told The Sun: "Christine's return was kept top secret from everyone, so they were all so excited to see her come back. "The cast were really sad when she quit the show, even though they totally supported and understood her reasons, so it was great to see her come back. "She started the journey with them all, so it was the perfect end that she got to finish the series with them too. "Christine may not have found love on the show, but she seemed really happy and in a great place. "Leaving the show was the right decision for her but she loved being back in the mix without the pressure of having to actually date on camera." Dua Lipa 'feeling grateful' after being awarded Kosovo citizenship

Singer Dua Lipa has said she is "feeling grateful" after being awarded citizenship of Kosovo by the country's president. The 29-year-old was born in London to Kosovo-Albanian parents, Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, and moved to the country's capital of Pristina aged 11, when her family returned after Kosovo gained its independence in 2008, before moving back to London aged 15. In a post on Instagram, Lipa said: "Feeling so grateful to have been awarded my Kosovan citizenship by our president @vjosaosmani." Kosovo's president, Vjosa Osmani, posted a picture of herself presenting a certificate of citizenship to the singer with a caption saying "welcome home Dua". She added: "Special honour that today, by presidential decree, to grant citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo to Dua Lipa, one of the most important cultural and artistic personalities in the history of our country. "Dua and Kosovo have always been inseparable. She has been and continues to be one of the most powerful voices on the world's biggest stages, making history with her achievements and becoming an inspiration to millions of people around the globe. "Our gratitude is endless for all that Dua has done and continues to do for Kosovo, for our youth, for our art and for the international image of our country. "Dua, Kosovo is always proud of you." At her initiation ceremony, Lipa was welcomed by a group of children dressed in white singing her 2020 UK hit single Levitating. In a statement, Lipa added: "Every time I come back to Kosovo, it always feels like coming home. "Receiving citizenship from president Osmani is such an honour and feels like my two sides are now one. "It completes the duality I have always had within. I love this country and this means so much to me and my family." It comes after the singer appeared at the country's Sunny Hill Festival, which she created in 2018, on Friday, where she performed the song Era with her father in Albanian. She said of the performance in a post on X: "Sharing this night with you all, in the city that shaped me, surrounded by so much energy, joy, and pride… it's hard to put into words what it means. "Performing for you and sharing the stage with my dad @dukagjinlipa was a moment I'll never forget. "I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful, and we still have two more nights to celebrate together." In November 2022, the singer was granted Albanian citizenship by its president Bajram Begaj. Since beginning her career in 2013, Lipa has had four UK number one singles and two UK number one albums, she is best known for songs such as Training Season, New Rules and One Kiss, which she recorded with DJ Calvin Harris.

Singer Jessie J returned to hospital with ‘infection' and ‘fluid on my lungs'

Singer Jessie J has revealed she returned to hospital where an 'infection' and 'a little fluid' on her lungs were discovered. The 37-year-old, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said she has since discharged herself from the hospital where she was treated after breast cancer surgery just weeks ago, revealing in July that she had since seen 'no cancer spread'. In a post on Instagram, the Price Tag singer said: 'Six weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned. 'I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung, it is not a blood clot thank god. 'They ran a lot of tests, which ended up showing I have an infection (still trying to figure out what) and a little fluid on my lungs. Jessie J said the hospital visit was a 'reminder to myself to slow down' (Jordan Pettitt/PA) 'Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient.' She went on to say it was 'frustrating' that her career plans had to change due to her surgery and hospital visits, and added that she had been 'working so hard to get to this point and excited to do it all'. Cornish said: 'I know for me, the true hard journey of this whole thing physically was the day I went into surgery. 'The recovery physically is far from quick or easy, and mentally it's been the most challenging time for me, especially as a mum with a toddler and being unable to be the mother I usually am.' The star said her visit to hospital was a 'reminder to myself to slow down' even though she felt she was already at a slow pace. Cornish added: 'This isn't a speedy recovery and it isn't meant to be. 'As an ADHD Aries, fire breathing dragon t-rex, I can do it myself, I'm always ok woman. That slow pace has been a hard reality to accept to be honest. 'I love moving and working and being up and active but I can't be right now, and that's what it is, and I am finding the strength knowing that all can be adjusted to align with a slower pace and the support of my very small inner support circle.' The London-born singer welcomed her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, in 2023, having had a miscarriage in November 2021. She has battled with ill-health throughout her life, having been diagnosed with a heart condition aged eight, suffering a minor stroke aged 18 and having briefly gone deaf in 2020. The singer-songwriter has had three number one songs in the UK singles chart with Domino, Price Tag and Bang Bang. She was awarded four Mobo awards in 2011 including best UK act, best newcomer, best song for Do It Like A Dude and best album with Who You Are, and won the Brit Award for rising star in 2011.
