A woman has shared her 'horror' after walking into her bathroom to discover her husband has repainted it a very bold colour – but some are a fan of the transformation
Everyone has their own unique taste - especially when it comes to what you wear on your body and how you decorate your home. But one woman has sparked a debate after asking her husband to repaint their bathroom - but she wasn't at all expecting him to pick such a bright colour.

Sharing a photo on the Facebook group Home Design and Decor, she wrote: "Help! I have my husband ONE room to pain, and this is what he did to the powder room! What to do with the walls?" The accompanying image shows how he painted the walls a red colour with hints of pink and brown. You can view it here.

While some users "love" the colour and believe it makes the room more visually interesting, others agree it's "not their cup of tea".

Commenting on the post, one user said: "I mean, he did an amazing job. It's extremely clean and well painted! The edging especially - very impressive.
"But I'd embrace it. Gold and black accents and frames and decorations, light coloured rugs, maybe do some Victorian accents."
Another user added: "I think if my husband painted a room a colour he likes I'd see it through his eyes and not mine, why should I decide for every room? He likes it. He's happy, it makes me happy."
A third user said: "Get the white bath mat that when you step on it it turns red. Make it horror movie themed. It will scare the poop out of you every morning."
One more user added: "There is so much potential for this to look amazing. Start with a Pinterest search of 'tomato red powder room' and lean in. If you want to keep the red, that is."

Another user said: "It's a beautiful colour. Overwhelming in a small room, a little. Too bad it's a powder room, because you could use a shower curtain like this.
"Find a big piece of art with a little red, and lots of light colours. I know a lot of people have commented black and brass, but for a warm red like that I'd have to bring in the white, orange, yellow.
"Find a gorgeous sunset picture or a field of flowers. Whatever you do, don't do your make up in there."
Sharing tips on how the pick the best paint colour, a Dulux expert said: "Think about the colours you love to wear, the environments you like to spend time in and the hobbies you enjoy.
"Which colours do you associate with the things you love? These are the shades that'll add personality to your space while enhancing the mood you want to create.
"Now, if you're thinking you love green for the garden, blue for the ocean and the riot of bold hues you choose for clothes, there's an easy way to try them all out before committing to house colour schemes."

Netflix's 'top notch' series starring Line of Duty actress hailed 'brilliant' by fans

Gina McKee stars alongside Homeland actor Damian Lewis in The Forsyte Saga, a Netflix period drama series that has been hailed by viewers as 'timeless' Netflix drama The Forsyte Saga has been praised as "incredible" by viewers who said it "sweeps you into another time". ‌ The acclaimed series is adapted from author John Galsworthy's novels and chronicles the trials and tribulations of three generations of a wealthy Victorian family. ‌ Damian Lewis of Homeland fame portrays solicitor Soames Forsyte and Line of Duty actress Gina McKee - who was born in Peterlee in County Durham - stars as his wife Irene. The 10-episode drama also features Rupert Graves from Sherlock and King Arthur's Ioan Gruffudd. ‌ Originally broadcast in 2002, the series is now on Netflix and is attracting a host of new admirers who are captivated by the Forsyte family's dramas and scandals, reports Chronicle Live. Numerous viewers have branded it essential viewing, with one declaring: "Tour de force performances from the entire cast. Very moving story with many emotional moments. Worth the trouble. "I love to watch this every five or 10 years," commented another viewer. "Long enough so I don't remember everything. It's such a top notch production. The costumes, the properties, the drama of it all just sweeps you into another time. "The cast are excellent and the intricacies of each character are so beautifully developed. People are messy, they don't always colour within the lines and this family certainly demonstrates just how family dynamics, entanglements and disfunction can warp and skew things for generations to come." ‌ "If you enjoy period entertainment this is a must," one impressed viewer noted, while another praised the "excellent acting, staging, production, costumes, make-up, sound". "Ensemble cast captured and held the audience attention," they continued. "It is a magnificent show," another person chimed in. "You can not miss it. Love is complicated. No one is absolutely right or wrong." ‌ Some admitted to being "in tears" whilst watching the drama, which explores Soames and Irene's troubled marriage. "Beautiful and so well acted that I cry every single time," one confessed. Another viewer shared: "Unexpected plot evolves in suspense filled episodes. Character development excellent. You come to know these peoples and get quickly involved in the story. I want to watch again." "Fantastic timeless series!" someone else enthused. "Watched three times since 2002 and still hits the spot. Brilliant!" The Forsyte Saga is currently available on Netflix

"Fecalynn - honouring her grandparents Fernando, Cameron and Lynne - who are important parts of my husband's and my lives," the mum-to-be wrote. The name announcement was shared on the That Name is a Tragedeigh group on Facebook, with the poster writing alongside a screenshot: "Just found this one. Poor Fecal!" Unsurprisingly, the comments section was immediately filled with people taking aim at the parents over the choice of moniker. "Give me strength! The lass must change her name when she turns 18," one wrote. "In other news: this kind of rubbish should be illegal to do to a future adult human," another added. "This is not even a good pet name!" "This kid should start therapy before birth," a third sighed. "She'll need it. Moms like this need serious mental help." Influencer couple who gave son a VERY unique name have done it again with holiday-inspired moniker for their baby girl "This kid is gonna get the literal fecal matter bullied out of her," someone else commented. "I never thought I would hear a name that is wildly unsanitary, but here we are," another wrote. "Awww, sweet. We can call her Feces, for short," someone else joked. "No no no no no!!!!!! Ugh. Can't be real. Correct…?!" another pleaded. While someone else hilariously added "You've got to be s**ting me", another insisted: "People like them really aren't looking at dictionary before naming their children!" And others in the comments added that there are tonnes of other name options that incorporated the three grandparents' monikers - that don't include the word "Fecal". Banned Names in the UK The UK has no law restricting names, but names that contain obscenities, numerals, misleading titles, or are impossible to pronounce are likely to be rejected when registering a child. Hitler Monkey Cyanide Martian Akuma Chow Tow Rogue "Like not Cameron Lynne or something?! Please??" one wrote. "Camando sounds better than that. My goodness!" "A hyphenated name would be less tragic than this," another added. "Fernanda-Lynn Cameron. Still not great but better than this atrocity!" "Felynnca, Fyrnne, Rondolynne, Camdolynne," a third commented. "I hate them all, but they're all better than FECAL and I just thought of them with less than 30 seconds effort!"
