79 women ride with 79 metre flag for 79th I-Day
To commemorate India's 79th
Independence Day
, a group of 79 women bikers held a patriotic ride in Bengaluru.The riders, all in white outfits with tricolour dupattas, departed from Gandhi Bazaar at 7:30 am and arrived at Lalbagh West Gate by 8:30 am.
They were joined by the public, who followed along carrying a 79-metre flag in celebration.

Krishna Janmashtami Puja Vidhi And Aarti Lyrics: The auspicious festival of Janmashtami, also known as Krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, will be celebrated on August 15 and 16, 2025. Commemorating the birth of the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna, Hindu devotees mark the day with devotion and grandeur. Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, as per the Hindu calendar. According to Drik Panchang, the most sacred part of the celebration, Nishita Puja, which marks the exact time of Lord Krishna's birth, will be held from 12:04 AM to 12:47 AM on August 16. In Maharashtra and parts of northern India, the Dahi Handi celebration will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with people creating traditional human pyramids recreating the divine act of stealing butter. Devotees observing the Janmashtami fast usually break it after midnight, following the Nishita Puja. Janmashtami 2025: Puja Vidhi for Evening Celebrations Puja should begin with the meditation of Lord Krishna. Meditate in front of the already installed Lord Krishna statue in front of you.
