Anna Kournikova's Mother-in-Law Shares Health Update for Tennis Star After Rare Photos Surface of Her in a Wheelchair
Now, Isabel Preysler, her mother-in-law, is clearing things up with a health update for the athlete—who, while not married to her son, Enrique Iglesias, has been with him for over 20 years. Preysler, a well-known Spanish and Filipino socialite and television host, assuaged any fears after a few days of family time in Miami, where Hello!'s sister publication Hola! caught up with her before boarding her flight back to Spain.

"It's nothing serious, just a minor foot injury," she told them. "It's a small sprain, but you know how painful those can be."
Kournikova was photographed out with friends and family members, wearing an orthopedic boot on her foot as a friend pushed her in a wheelchair while her daughters, Lucy, 7, and Mary, 5, walked by her side. (Kournikova also shares 7-year-old Nicholas with Iglesias, neither were pictured.)
It was the first time she was seen publicly in almost three years, the last time reportedly being Iglesias' May 2022 birthday celebration. This time, the group was seen at a Miami shopping mall, where Kournikova was clearly in good spirits.
The athlete, now 43, retired from tennis at just 21 years old, crediting a debilitating back injury in an interview with People. 'I never planned or thought that was going to be it,' she told the publication. 'My back really forced me to stop. It got so bad; I couldn't tie my shoes, literally. I would be in excruciating pain."
With "six to eight hours [of training] every day" starting at the age of five, it's not surprising to hear that she suffered a variety of injuries throughout her career. As she once told The Guardian, "Basically, I've had an injury nearly every single year."

Lionel Messi has goal and assist in return from injury
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Lionel Messi returned from injury for Inter Miami to chants of 'Messi! Messi! Messi!' in a 3-1 win over the the LA Galaxy on Saturday. It was the magic defender Maximiliano Falcón said the team has come to expect. 'We're used to this. You saw what he did, got the ball with a clear look at goal and scored,' Falcón said in Spanish. Even after a two game absence it was no surprise that Messi, MLS' top goal scorer, led Inter Miami to victory. He had been training with the team since midweek and coach Javier Mascherano confirmed he would be available for the weekend match. The Argentine superstar put in a 45 minute shift and his countryman Rodrigo de Paul assisted him as they beat the worst team in MLS. The two world champions did not participate in pregame warmups, but they did warm up before they entered the game at halftime to the raucous cheers of Miami fans. Messi injured his hamstring on Aug. 2 against Necaxa in a Leagues Cup match. Inter Miami reached the Leagues Cup quarterfinals without him, but were defeated by instate rivals Orlando City 4-1 in MLS action. Besides his ability, it's Messi's competitive attitude that transcends this Miami squad according to Mascherano. 'He wants to play every single game. He wanted to play in Orlando also. You have to understand why Leo is Leo, because he always wants to be on the pitch,' Mascherano said after the win over Galaxy. Messi's return comes at an important time, before his squad takes on eight-time Mexican champions Tigres UANL in South Florida on Wednesday. LA Galaxy, the reigning 2024 MLS Cup Champions, also looked at this Saturday's game as a chance to rotate their squad ahead of their Leagues Cup quarterfinal match against C.F. Pachuca. ___

Kylie Jenner Timothee Chalamet Breakup Rumors Explained
What is going on with Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet's relationship? Perhaps this is a question you've found yourself asking in general across the last year or so — but now there's an actual reason to ask it. So, it's possible you've witnessed a bit of breakup speculation about this formerly elusive and always-a-little-evasive couple. This is primarily because Timothée recently skipped out on Kylie's birthday party — which, as relationship veterans and newbies alike well know, can sometimes mean that bad vibes are afoot. So what's the haps? Well, People notes that Kylie recently — and very subtly — supported Timothée in public by "liking" his IG post that shared the trailer for his hotly anticipated new film Marty Supreme. So there is that. A source also tells the publication that Timothée's absence can be chalked up to little more than busy schedules for two of the most famous people on the planet. 'They haven't seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée's been filming Dune in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie's been working too,' the source claims. 'She visited him in July." "But even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours," the source also claimed. "She's a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée's schedule is grueling, with very little downtime.' So there you have it. We've reached out to Timothée and Kylie's reps for further comment, and we'll let you know if we hear anything back.
