AEW star MVP has again strongly criticized WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque. In a recent interview with BetIdeas, MVP stated he has "zero respect" for him, citing personal interactions and questioning his booking decisions since Triple H took over WWE creative in mid-2022.
These remarks came when MVP was asked about how Levesque views talent of color. MVP used former two-time WWE Champion Bobby Lashley as an example of his booking concerns.
"Let's just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card," MVP said. "Bobby Lashley is a bankable, marketable guy. And two-time WWE Champion just got reduced to mid-card, whatever."
MVP addressed WWE fans who might dismiss his views as mere complaining. "What I said, specifically in response to the person on my Instagram page, was that you see it. It's my opinion of how he chooses to book certain talents," he stated.
"Some people say all the time that, 'oh MVP's just griping, MVP's just crying'. Okay, well just watch the program. Who were the people in the top spots under his leadership? Who were given the opportunities? And I'm not talking about NXT. I'm talking about the main show."

Despite these pointed criticisms of booking, MVP, who departed WWE in August 2024 and is now part of AEW, clarified that his fundamental issues with Triple H are personal and not based on race. He has previously implied concerns about the booking of Black talent under Triple H but has also denied labeling him a racist.

"And I'll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race," MVP asserted during the BetIdeas interview. "My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him."
MVP, a former WWE United States Champion and architect of The Hurt Business, promised to elaborate on these personal issues in the future.
"I have my opinions, based on my personal experiences. And at some point on my podcast and my YouTube show, I'll talk about it and I'll go in depth about what my issues are with that man... But I'll get into that on my show. Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swaezey."

Janel Grant's representation calls Brock Lesnar's return to WWE 'attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug'
Brock Lesnar put a punctuation mark on WWE SummerSlam Sunday night with his return to the ring after a two-year absence from the promotion. Lesnar came out to confront John Cena following his defeat to Cody Rhodes and loss of the WWE championship, eventually attacking Cena and using his signature F-5 finishing move on him. Yet while the excitement of a feud with Cena was the takeaway from SummerSlam, Lesnar's return also raises reminders of why he took a two-year hiatus. The seven-time WWE champion was named in a federal lawsuit against former WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon. The lawsuit was filed against the company by former WWE employee Janel Grant, alleging that McMahon had sexually assaulted and trafficked her. On Monday afternoon, Grant's represenation issued a statement regarding Lesnar's return to WWE. "For far too long, abuse was allowed to thrive under WWE's leadership," the statement says. "Instead of righting this wrong, WWE has done nothing to ensure those responsible are held accountable." "This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire," the statement added. "We look forward to the full set of facts, including those about Mr. Lesnar, coming out in a court of law where they belong but, in the meantime, we refer you back to Janel Grant's updated complaint, which outlines, in detail, the abuse she endured by McMahon and others while employed at WWE." The full lawsuit can be read here, via the Wall Street Journal. One of the claims in the complaint alleges that McMahon shared "sexually explicit photographs and videos of Ms. Grant (including pornographic content he recorded) with other men both inside and outside the company." That included "a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract (and ultimately did sign that contract)." Lesnar was not initially named beyond that description in the lawsuit, but that has since been changed to outright name him in the complaint. McMahon denied all allegations in Grant's lawsuit, but resigned as WWE chairman in January 2024. Lesnar hadn't appeared for WWE since then, with the company shelving plans to feature him in that year's Royal Rumble. However, Lesnar was apparently cleared by WWE's lawyers to return as a performer four weeks ago, according to reporter Dave Meltzer (via Cageside Seats). Though Meltzer was not able to provide details, he speculated that being cleared meant that the lawsuit may go to arbitration and Lesnar faced no legal jeopardy. His return to WWE appears to support that notion.

We're here to explain all that as wrestling fans everywhere are buzzing about what they saw on Sunday night. Let's dive into why Brock Lesnar's comeback dredged up some controversy with it: What is the lawsuit that Brock Lesnar is allegedly involved in? Per USA TODAY Sports: In January 2024, former WWE employee Janel Grant sued [Vince] McMahon, alleging the wrestling company's founder took part in sex trafficking and put her through sexual acts that were done with "extreme cruelty and degradation." Lesnar is mentioned in the lawsuit as someone that McMahon offered sexual encounters to with Grant. Were there any other details about Brock Lesnar in the Vince McMahon lawsuit? Just this, per ESPN, Grant also claimed "McMahon demanded she create 'personalized sexual content' for Lesnar in July 2021, at a time McMahon was attempting to keep Lesnar under contract with the WWE." Welcome Back, Hayley Paige—The Fairytale Continues, On Her Terms
The fashion world is buzzing, and rightfully so. We are beyond thrilled to share the official runway photos from the Hayley Paige 'Twice Upon a Time' presentation, an extraordinary debut held at the legendary Colony Hotel in picture-perfect Palm Beach, Florida. Planned and designed by Whitney Carillon Events and captured flawlessly by La Via Visual, this soirée was a rewritten chapter for Hayley Paige. A whimsical dreamscape of bold storytelling, couture fantasy, and next-generation bridal design that marked a long-awaited return… and a reckoning. In an industry built on love stories, Hayley Paige has lived through a plot twist no one saw coming. Once celebrated as the crown jewel of millennial bridal fashion, known for her twirl-worthy silhouettes, sparkle-laced magic, and Instagram-era bridal voice, Hayley's journey took a devastating detour. A deeply public legal battle over the rights to her own name removed her from the very brand she built, leaving an entire generation of brides (and dreamers) wondering what would come next. But Hayley Paige didn't disappear. She recalibrated. She healed. She fought. And now, after years of silence, strength, and strategic rebuilding, she's back with full creative freedom, ownership, and her signature shine. On July 27, Hayley Paige officially reclaimed the spotlight with the launch of her brand-new 30-piece bridal collection, ushering in a bold new era of design, independence, and storytelling. This isn't just a comeback—it's a creative resurrection. A personal and professional triumph. A masterclass in resilience. While her name was in litigation limbo, Hayley quietly turned heartbreak into horsepower. Through her sculptural bridal shoe brand She is Cheval, she continued pushing the boundaries of bridal fashion. With feminine lines, red carpet-worthy edge and unapologetic flair, Cheval proved what we already Paige's vision never dulled. It simply evolved. Now with Twice Upon a Time she returns to the aisle. But this time she's calling every shot. The 30-piece collection delivers exactly what we've missed: ethereal romance, rule-breaking elegance, and that signature Paige playfulness. But beyond the gowns, there's something even more powerful here: freedom. Ownership. A woman in full. In a world where so many designers lose their names to contracts and corporations, Hayley Paige's comeback is a reminder that reclaiming your voice is always worth the fight. Her story is about fashion and building a legacy. Welcome back, Hayley. The world's been waiting. And this time, the fairytale is yours to write.
