The Caribbean restaurant just opened in May as part of the music and events space UNDR, near the famous Portobello Road.
Taylor rose to fame as the winner of Channel 4's Five Star Kitchen: Britain's Next Great Chef.
In a message on Instagram, Taylor said: 'Due to unforeseen circumstances, Marvee's Food Shop at UNDR will soon be coming to an end, after some fun this Carnival Weekend.
'We have a few remaining tables this Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd, so make sure to come along and say your farewells (for now)!
'From 27th onwards the chefs who have been working with Dom at UNDR will continue serving up their own menu of Caribbean food, following the success of Marvee's so make sure to keep showing them your love!
'UNDR was the first home for Marvee's Food Shop, and we have loved welcoming all of our wonderful guests over the past few months. Watch this space!'
Before opening Marvee's, Taylor had a 10-month residency with the Good Front Room restaurant at the Langham in central London.
When it opened Taylor described it as a tribute to the traditional Caribbean takeaway.
On the menu at Marvee's were Caribbean classics, including Bammy, a traditional cassava bread, and the Jamaican Festival, a deep-fried sweet bread, reinvented as waffles, with a selection of toppings including jerk chicken, crispy spiced banana blossom or boneless goat curry, The Caterer reports.
Reviewing the restaurant for the Evening Standard, critic David Ellis gave it three stars, saying: 'The pork is good but perhaps no more than that.'
Major BBC chef on why he'll never appear on TV again
Earlier this month, a BBC‑featured chef abruptly closed down his UK Top 100 restaurant.
Deri Reed has called time on The Warren admitted bluntly: 'it hasn't been working for some time" in a social media post.
His eatery in Carmarthen, Wales, has long enjoyed acclaim - and not just from the critics.
Last month as well, celebrity chef Roy Ner closed Jeru, his Mediterranean themed restaurant Jeru.
It has been a tough time in hospitality with a number of celebrity chefs feeling the heat - and not just in the kitchen.
Those to have closed sites include the ultimate celebrity cook, Gordon Ramsay, and renowned French chef Anne-Sophie Pic.
Many of those shutting their doors have highlighted economic circumstances, which have made it increasingly difficult to make a profit.
Expert analysis

Experts say the cost of living crisis has left customers favouring a cheap dinner over splashing out on fancy evenings out in expensive restaurants, and this has made celeb chefs think twice about whether it's worth continuing to run their business.
Paul Lochhead, managing director of Drinkstuff, told The Sun: "For celebrity chefs, these ventures are often passion projects rather than primary revenue sources.
"If a restaurant isn't performing well, it may not be worth the continued investment, especially when compared to the other income streams they have."
Dr Marc Stierand, director of the institute of business creativity at EHL Hospitality Business School, added that restaurants with one Michelin Star - of which there are around 170 in the UK - may struggle compared to top-end restaurants.
"For restaurants with one-star, they are not 'cool' enough to attract international travellers. These restaurants could be empty most days, and the market is very weak now, so it's just far too expensive [to run them]," he explained.

McDonald's restaurant has 'best view' that people would wait in line all day for
Fast food fans have been left gobsmacked by the incredible views at one McDonald's chain – and it's so cool people online are even comparing it to Jurassic Park People cannot get over this incredible McDonald's chain with the "best view" - and many say they would queue for hours just to see it. When we travel abroad, many of us like to try out the local cuisine and avoid food spots that we can easily get at home. However, some of our favourite brands offer different menus we wouldn't be able to try at home - and fast food chains look different around the world. While we all know what McDonald's restaurants looks like, the menus vary by location to reflect local tastes and traditions - and there are a few which look nothing like the other eateries. The biggest McDonald's restaurant is in Orlando, Florida, and some fans believe the "poshest" chain is in Long Island. In New Zealand, there is a Maccies where food is served from an abandoned aeroplane, plus there is a floating McDonald's service in Germany. And let's not forget the McDonalds "in a medieval castle" in Indiana, US. Recently people have been wowed by a picturesque chain in Oahu, Hawaii. Surrounded by palm trees and grassland, and a view of the Koolau mountain range, this chain has been described as "McDonald's in heaven" with a video shared on TikTok. The same individual, named Jared, said: "I flew to Hawaii to see the world's most beautiful McDonalds." He was adamant about visiting the impressive space after seeing videos online. Another video shared on Instagram shows people queuing for the drive thru while admiring the breathtaking mountain views. Wowed viewers rushed to comment, as one individual said: "The view is pretty, the scenery is awesome." Someone wrote: "No joke, I will wait in that line all damn day! Get my food and go back around again." One other said: "I'm not even complaining when my order is late." "I would say 'welcome to Jurassic Park' every time we roll up," joked another. "Waiting for a T-Rex to come through those mountains," joked one other. Another described it as a "junk spot in heaven". One other obsessed over the "beautiful view". "Oh my God it's beautiful," added one other. "I lived in Maui for many years and I miss is so much," commented one other.

The photos were joined with a caption that read: "Two years ago today I got to thank the paramedics that saved my life! Noticed my sepsis signs and did all the could and more! She continued: "True real life heroes!!! Unfortunately with chemotherapy the slightest cold / bug / infections can quickly turn to sepsis as you don't have the white blood cells to fight it". In another post on her Instagram story, Amy wrote: "Fast forward two years and I'm feeling healthier, stronger and happier than ever! "Still go by these mottos. Don't get bitter get better. This too shall pass. And my old school days one, fail to prepare, prepare to fail". The star has spoken openly about her health in recent years. The 35-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, and revealed that she contracted sepsis shortly after her first round of chemotherapy. Article continues below Amy says her memories were hazy of that time (Image: Amy Dowden / Instagram) In an Instagram post later that year, she spoke about the experience. She said: "I recently suffered a setback in my cancer treatment and spent several days in hospital and needing care by an ICU team." She also gave the full story in an interview with Hello! Magazine. "I started having a temperature of 37.7 degrees Celsius," Amy shared during the interview. "At the time I didn't realise that having a temperature of 37.5 or above could be fatal for a chemo patient. I just thought it was my reaction to chemo but, as it turned out, I had already got an infection." Amy continued: 'I felt freezing cold but I was all clammy and shaking. My mum and dad rang my red card [which provides the chemotherapy team's contact details and current treatment information] and they said to hang up and ring the ambulance. "I didn't want to go into hospital. at the time I didn't realise how ill I was. I knew it was a Saturday night, so A&E would probably be crowded, and it was dangerous being around people as it's more likely you'll pick up an infection. The Strictly star issued a 'fast forward' update after the tribute (Image: Amy Dowden / Instagram) "On chemo you don't have your white blood cells to fight infection. We now know I had the infection just before I started chemo but we were never able to pinpoint what actually caused it." Amy then told the publication that her memory of her time in hospital was hazy, adding: "The doctors and nurses were telling me I had sepsis and that it was life-threatening but I wasn't taking it in. I didn't become properly aware until later. I told my dad: 'I've got sepsis' and he said: 'I know'." Amy underwent an intensive chemotherapy and mastectomy in 2023. The star also shared her most vulnerable moments in that year with her BBC documentary, Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, which followed Amy as she received treatment and raised awareness for breast cancer. In February 2024, she received the uplifting news of 'no evidence of the disease', but the ballroom expert has been unwavering in her commitment to raising awareness of the disease ever since, providing regular heartfelt updates to her followers on social media. This year, the star will be making a triumphant return to Strictly Come Dancing. Last year, the professional dancer was coupled up with JB Gill after returning to the show following her cancer treatment. However, Amy had to pull out from the competition after sustaining an injury and was replaced by fellow professional dancer Lauren Oakley. Luckily, Amy recovered and started 2025 with a dance tour around the UK titled Reborn alongside professional dancer and close friend, Carlos Gu, who will also be joining the Strictly series this year. And furthermore, her documentary, Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, has been nominated for a National Television Award in the authored documentary category shortlist.
