
Bhubaneswar set to house Odishas first aviation MRO hub
Anchored by the commerce and transport department, the new destination policy aims to expand regional and international air connectivity through structured incentives, route support, and facilitation for airlines, he said.
'Within a short span, the policy has significantly enhanced Odisha's aviation footprint both globally and domestically. A total of 13 new international and domestic flight services have been operationalised under the New Destination Policy, opening new corridors for trade, tourism, and regional integration," he added.
On the international front, direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Dubai and Abu Dhabi have positioned the state on the global aviation map, strengthening diaspora ties and unlocking global market access.
On the domestic front, routes such as Jharsuguda–Mumbai, Jharsuguda–Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar–Goa, Bhubaneswar–Dehradun, and Bhubaneswar–Port Blair, among others, have enhanced connectivity to tribal regions, industrial zones, and key tourist destinations, he added.
These services are further supported by the operationalisation of regional airstrips at Jeypore, Rourkela, Utkela, and Rangeilunda under the UDAN scheme, ensuring seamless last mile connectivity, he said.
This apart, the, the proposed Puri airport project has achieved a major milestone with the launch of the Interactive Colour Coded Zoning Map (CCZM) on NOCAS 2.0.
This transformative digital tool enables online height clearance processing, ensuring that aviation planning is integrated with safe urban development, regulated infrastructure growth, and environmental safeguards.
Further strengthening its futuristic outlook, the Odisha government is also in the process of formulating a dedicated drone policy and fast tracking land allotment for airport infrastructure, reinforcing its mission to build a resilient and innovation driven aviation ecosystem, according to an official release by the commerce and transport department. Savy Infra & Logistics stock jumps nearly 20 pc in debut trade on NSE SME
New Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) Shares of Savy Infra and Logistics on Monday ended with a premium of nearly 20 per cent against the issue price of Rs 120 per share on the NSE's SME platform Emerge. The shares were listed at Rs 136.50 per share on the NSE SME index, at a premium of 13.75 per cent. Later, it closed at Rs 143.30 apiece, a premium of 19.42 per cent on the bourse. The market capitalisation of the company stood at Rs 298.19 crore on the NSE SME. In volume terms, 32.29 lakh equity shares were traded on the exchange during the day. The Rs 70-crore initial public offering (IPO) of Savy Infra and Logistics garnered a stellar response from the investors by subscribing 114.50 times on the closing day of bidding on Wednesday last week. The initial share sale had a price band at Rs 114-120 per share. The issue is entirely a fresh issue of 58.32 lakh shares. Gandhinagar-based EPC player Savy Infra & Logistics is engaged in the business of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and logistics, with a focus on infrastructure projects. The company also offers logistics services through an asset-light model by renting trucks and drivers. The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 283.39 crore and profit after tax of Rs 23.88 crore in FY25. AMSL posts Rs 18 cr profit in Q1
Agency: PTI Last Updated: New Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL) on Monday said its consolidated net profit has more than doubled to Rs 17.68 crore during the June quarter, aided by higher income. It had reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 8.42 crore in the April-June period of the 2024-25 fiscal year, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company's total income increased 46.49 per cent to Rs 134.45 crore in the first quarter from Rs 91.78 crore in the same period a year ago. On June 4, AMSL announced the completion of its preferential allotment of equity shares and convertible warrants, raising a total of over Rs 416 crore. Hyderabad-based AMSL offers technology-based solutions in sectors like infrastructure, transportation, aerospace and defence, among others. Brigade Hotel Ventures IPO subscribed 4.48 times on last day of bidding
Last Updated: New Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) The initial share sale of Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd fetched 4.48 times subscription on the closing day of bidding on Monday. The initial public offering (IPO) received bids for 22,95,01,142 shares against 5,11,93,987 shares on offer, according to data available with the NSE. Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) category attracted 6.40 times subscription while the quota for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) got subscribed 5.42 times. The portion for non-institutional investors received 1.92 times subscription. Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd had on Wednesday raised Rs 325 crore from anchor investors. The price band has been fixed at Rs 85-90 per share. At the upper end of the price band, the company is valued at over Rs 3,400 crore. Brigade Hotel Ventures' IPO is entirely a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 759.6 crore with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component. Proceeds from the issue to the tune of Rs 468.14 crore will be used for the payment of debt, Rs 107.52 crore will be utilised for the purchase of an undivided share of land from the promoter, BEL, and the remaining funds will support acquisitions, other strategic initiatives, and general corporate purposes. The company has a portfolio of nine operating hotels across Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru, and the GIFT City (Gujarat) with 1,604 keys. The hotels are operated by global marquee hospitality companies such as Marriott, Accor and InterContinental Hotels Group. JM Financial and ICICI Securities are the book running lead managers to the issue.
