
Police hunt suspect linked to daytime shooting in Clearview Twp.
It happened just after 10 a.m. at a property on 15/16 Side Road near Highway 26. Officers from the Huronia West OPP detachment were called to the scene, where they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
According to investigators, the suspects took off before police arrived. They are believed to have left the area in a blue Volkswagen sedan.
This investigation remains ongoing by the Huronia West OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

New Glasgow Regional Police responded to the two-vehicle crash at 12:05 p.m. Police say the crash involved a Subaru Outback car and a Kawasaki motor bike at the intersection of Marsh Street and Washington Street. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the Aberdeen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. New Glasgow police are continuing to investigate the crash. 17-year-old charged in shooting death of boy, 13, in Pimicikamak Cree Nation
A 17-year-old is charged with manslaughter after a 13-year-old boy was shot and killed on Saturday in northern Manitoba. The older teen was arrested shortly after the shooting in Pimicikamak Cree Nation. He was charged with manslaughter on Sunday, Cross Lake RCMP said in a news release on Monday morning. Officers were called to a home in the community, about 530 kilometres north of Winnipeg, around 5:40 p.m. Saturday, police said in a news release early Sunday afternoon. They were told the 13-year-old had been shot and driven to the nursing station, where he was pronounced dead. The 17-year-old was at the home and was taken into custody, police said. The investigation continues but no additional suspects are being sought, RCMP said. No additional information has been released about the incident.
