EastEnders legend will miss co-star's ‘bright and positive energy' as she exits
Norris's final episode aired this week, with her character Bernie Taylor leaving Albert Square for a fresh start in Spain alongside her step-cousin Felix Baker(Matthew James Morrison), using money stolen from the Panesars.
Over the past year, Bernie has been at odds with Diane Parish's character, Denise Fox, largely due to Keanu's death and Denise's role in the storyline involving 'The Six.'
Despite the on-screen tension, Diane took to social media to share a warm message after a video of Clair's last day on set was posted. She praised Norris as 'a wonderful talent,' going on to say that the actress has 'Blown me away with her comedic and dramatic performances. Gonna miss her bright and positive energy. Go well beautiful girl.'
Clair also shared her own tribute to her on-screen partner Matthew James Morrison, who plays Felix Baker. In an Instagram post, she wrote:
'Bernie &👸🏼B… @matthew_james_morrison I truly believe our paths crossed for a reason. I couldn't have been more thankful to have you by my side on our last block. What a rollercoaster it was but hand in hand we did it!!!'
Matthew left a heartfelt comment under the post writing:
'I love you Clair Hayley Norris,'
Diane added her own comment under Clair's post, calling her and Matthew 'two of the most genuinely beautiful people within and without.' More Trending
Clair's exit was first confirmed back in May, when a BBC spokesperson wished her well and thanked her for her time on the show.
Reflecting on her departure in an interview with The Sun, Clair said:
'Obviously, it's upsetting, but also I'd been there for eight years, which is a long time to play a character, and I have absolutely loved being in the show.'
She went on to tell the publication: 'They gave me the opportunity to learn on the job, and now I can take that experience into future roles. Of course, it's sad, but with the Taylors gone, it felt like the right time. I'm very excited about what's to come.'

Gregg Wallace's replacement for final MasterChef episodes revealed
Gregg Wallace is set to be replaced by Irish chef Anna Haugh towards the end of the new MasterChef 2025 series. This decision follows an independent report substantiating 45 allegations against Wallace, including inappropriate sexual language and unwelcome physical contact. Co-host John Torode also had an allegation of racist language upheld against him, which he denies recalling. The BBC controversially decided to broadcast the 2025 series, stating it was to recognise the efforts of the amateur cooks involved. Anna Haugh will take over from Wallace after the semi-finals, while Grace Dent has already replaced him on the next series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Taking to Instagram, Tommy shared a series of snaps from the trio's sunny holiday in Turkey - including one of them all cosied up. He captioned: "One of the best trips ever." One follower commented: "These photos are so special." Another added: "Bambi looks sooo happy as do you all, lovely pics." A third shared: "Good seeing you back where you belong lad." It comes as Molly-Mae revealed why Tommy doesn't feature in her YouTube vlogs. Fans had claimed that Molly's sister Zoe, 28, is more of a father figure due to her regular appearance in the videos. Molly-Mae explained: "I've seen so many comments saying 'Zoe is more the dad' I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week. "But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family. Molly-Mae admits real reason she's not filming with Tommy Fury after breaking down in tears on camera "I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to." The couple only recently confirmed their reunion after splitting last August. Their relationship story featured in Molly's recent Amazon documentary where she talked about their New Year's Eve kiss, which began feverish speculation that they were back together. They are now working hard to put past cheating allegations and Tommy's alcohol-fuelled partying problems behind them. A source previously told us: 'It sounds extreme, but Molly feels much more reassured when Tommy checks in. "It all helps with trust, honesty and transparency between the two of them. 'Tommy dutifully phones Molly the minute that he arrives anywhere. 'And then she likes him to also show her where he is. 'This has been going on for months now, and Tommy's friends are impressed that he has agreed to it whole-heartedly.'

Spice Girls reveal secret reunion at Oasis gig years after 'feud' with Liam Gallagher
Oasis' Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher performed at Wembley Stadium last week and it's now been revealed that the Spice Girls' Mel C and Geri Horner reunited at one of the gigs Two of the Spice Girls reunited at an Oasis recently almost three decades on from rumoured tension between them. Mel C and Geri Horner were among the fans at Wembley Stadium for one of the rock band's shows last week. The Oasis Live '25 tour arrived at the stadium in London last month for five concerts ahead of additional shows at the venue later in the year. Mel, 51, and Geri, 53, were among those in the crowd at one of the gigs held last week. Geri had previously shared that she had met three of the Lionesses whilst in the audience. Now, in a post celebrating her birthday today, it has been revealed that 'Ginger Spice' reunited with her former bandmate Mel in the stands too. Mel, nicknamed Sporty Spice, paid tribute to Geri in a post on Instagram this morning for the occasion. She wrote: "Happy Birthday darling @gerihalliwellhorner, our Ginger Spice. Have an amazing day, love you to pieces." The post included a series of photos showing them over the years. It included a photo of Mel and Geri stood together in the stands at Wembley Stadium recently, with the former sporting a lanyard that featured Oasis' band logo. Mel is seen wearing a blue top and trousers, whilst Geri attended the gig in a white jumpsuit. It appears to be the same outfit Geri was wearing in a photo with England footballers Alex Greenwood, 31, Hannah Hampton, 24, and Alessia Russo, 26, at an Oasis gig last Wednesday. It comes following speculation of a 'feud' between the Spice Girls and Oasis, which includes Liam Gallagher, 52, and Noel Gallagher, 58, in its line-up, years ago. Mel's previously said that there is "no beef" between them though. The rumour dates back to the BRIT Awards in 1997, when both bands were up for awards. Hinting an issue with the Spice Girls, Liam reportedly said that he wouldn't attend as he would "smack them" if he bumped into them. During the Spice Girls' acceptance speech for British Single of the Year, which was given to their debut single Wannabe, rather than Oasis' song Don't Look Back in Anger, Mel had a message for Liam. She said on stage: "I just wanna say, Liam, come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" Years later though, she dismissed any suggestion of a feud by posing for a photo with Liam and some of her bandmates at the Olympics in 2012, following the Spice Girls' performance. The group were said to have partied together. More recently, as reported by On The Radio, Mel spoke about Liam when she guest hosted BBC Radio 2 's Sounds of the 90s in 2020. She was joined by pal Geri, who teased that she put "those boys" in their place at the BRITs in 1997. Mel is quoted as having said: "Yeah so Liam Gallagher had been bad mouthing us and I told him to come and have a go if he thinks he's hard enough. I'd actually never met him and I got to meet him a few months later and he was like 'c'mon then, scouse' kind of offering me out ... he's gone on to make some great records as well, so yeah, no beef." Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! Geri reportedly said she would often see Liam in a park, further dismissing the idea of any tension between the bands by saying that they say 'good morning' to each other. Mel joked: "Yeah not so rock and roll anymore, are you now, Liam?" Mel and Geri aren't the only Spice Girls members to have been at an Oasis reunion gig. Last month, their bandmate Mel B, 50, watched the rock band at Heaton Park with her husband Rory McPhee, 37, her eldest child Phoenix Brown, 26, and cousin Christian Cooke, 37, who is a close pal of Rory.
