Ozzy Osbourne's sisters say his death was a 'shock' as they pay tribute to 'Our John'

Describing the self-styled Prince of Darkness as 'loving and funny,' Mrs Hemming told The Mirror: 'We just can't believe he is gone and we won't be getting another phone call or text from him. Every week without fail he would get in touch, either by phone or text, to ask how we were all doing and what was going on.'

'Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon couldn't put each other down during photoshoot'

Celebrity photographer Steve Read shares the inside track on some of the most famous celebrities he has snapped ahead of an exhibition of his work, Shooting Stars Pays the Rent A constant flow of hilarious anecdotes about everyone from Hollywood idols to rock 'n' roll stars trip off Steve Read's tongue. ‌ But it is the lensman's images that really do the talking, a gallery of which are on show in his new exhibition - Shooting Stars Pays The Rent. ‌ The original art director of lads' mag loaded, Steve's incredible pictures take viewers on a journey through the celebrity world of the late 1990s and early noughties, when he swapped commissioning photographers for taking pictures himself - and rubbing shoulders with La La Land's glitterati. It comes after The Face magazine celebrated its 45th anniversary. ‌ He tells The Mirror: 'Soon I was on a different planet.' One of his favourite memories comes from photographing Sharon and the late Ozzy Osbourne. 'This was before she was properly famous, but The Osbournes reality TV show was just about to come out in 2002,' he says. 'The shoot was supposed to be all about her, but you couldn't stop Ozzy getting in the shot and they just couldn't put each other down. 'Sharon had wanted to do another shot, but the one that worked was them giving me the finger while they were kissing. 'Pussy' the cat is in the pic too.' Now 64, Steve's picture of the couple can be seen in his exhibition, which opens in Edinburgh at Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel on Monday, 18 August, before touring the UK. ‌ Also a filmmaker, Steve continues: 'Ozzy was getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame the next day and he asked me if I wanted to go with him. Robbie Williams had just moved out to L.A. and he was like his new best friend and hanging out as well so I just tagged along. That was the level of intimacy you used to get back then.' Another priceless anecdote comes from his shoot with Princess Anne's daughter, the talented equestrian Zara Tindal. ‌ He anticipated some problems, because he wanted her to bring her horse indoors, but he needn't have worried - recalling how a middle-aged woman in a headscarf even offered to help. 'No, I'm ok love thanks,' he told her, without looking up. His assistant ran up after she had walked off and told him: 'That was Princess Anne you tw*t.' While Steve blushed, Zara laughed. ‌ He says: 'Zara is a dream to work with.' As a photographer, Steve often found celebrities very different to their public persona. ‌ 'I bumped into John Lydon in a diner when he was in the States with the reformed Sex Pistols and he was on his own,' he says. 'This was when I was working for loaded and he loved the magazine, took my number and said he'd call the next day. I thought no more about it until he actually did. Lovely guy. We had a great couple of days.' His knack for putting famous people at ease comes from his childhood, according to Steve, as his dad was a Luton Town goalie and he became used to seeing celebrities, like Eric Morecambe - who was a director of the club - coming to his house. Steve, who also worked with legendary editor Tina Brown on Talk magazine - an iconic celebrity title in America - adds: 'Celebrities are like everybody else. 'They have good days and bad days.' Shooting Stars Pays The Rent' exhibition Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, Edinburgh from Monday 18th August.

DJ AG drops Misfits boxing hint after Derek Chisora meeting

DJ AG - also known as Ashley Gordon - has made a name for himself in the world of TikTok, but it seems as if he is open to a move to boxing Social media and TikTok sensation DJ AG has hinted at a potential move to the Misfits boxing ring ‌ DJ AG - also known as Ashley Gordon - can often be heard before he is seen, playing music from his decks in the middle of the street in London. The rather bizarre set up has landed Gordon more than a million followers on TikTok and the honour of being named Time Out's Londoner of the Year. ‌ He tends to invite people off the street to perform with him and has even handed the microphone to stars like Idris Elba, Skepta, Jorja Smith, JME and Will Smith. Despite building up quite the following on social media, it seems as if he is eager for a change in profession. ‌ Gordon recently teamed up with heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora and was seen enjoying himself in the ring before stating he was ready for Misfits. Over the past few years, the famous boxing promotion has signed several big names in the world of social media. In a recent story uploaded to Chisora's Instagram, both he and AG were heading down a stairway to the ring. A starstruck Gordon said: "Oi, that ring looks sick! That ring looks cold!" AG then turned to Chisora and uttered: "I know you have got boxing rings, bro!" An energetic Chisora then initiated mind games with the social media star, downplaying a potential sparring session, stating: "I know you do not want the smoke, bro!" AG then dropped a major bombshell, saying: "I am ready for Misfits!" Before Gordon entered the ring, he envisioned himself being introduced to the ring, saying: "Introducing, DJ AG! And the crowd go rah!" Gordon can be seen spending the rest of the video doing some sharp movements as well as some brief shadow-boxing. Despite making a name for himself in the world of TikTok, things were not so easy when he first started. 'I had eggs thrown at me, water thrown at me, I was heckled, it was tough. But I think that's because people didn't understand what I was doing, they thought it was a joke,' he told The Mirror at TikTok Live Fest. This didn't stop Gordon, however. He added: 'I'm quite fearless and I think a lot of that comes from working in sales which is quite a tough environment and coming from Tottenham which is tough as well, so how bad could it be being outside.' It was his children who suggested he try out TikTok in 2022, but the now-39-year-old said it was an app for kids and 'they don't want to listen to what I've got to say'. He continued: 'But I tried it one day and realised there were people my age on TikTok and the rest is history'. He was particularly inspired by DJ SUAT, the roaming YouTube performer. Gordon admitted that if the gamble did not pay off, he would have gone back to his day job. Fortunately, he has not had to go back to a traditional job and has now performed with a range of stars on the street. Idris Elba, he said, was an 'amazing man'. He added: 'For someone that has achieved so much in his life and given so much to still be so humble, so down to earth, having that willingness to help. It's great to meet people that are like that.'

Strictly Come Dancing's Nadiya's future revealed as she breaks silence on fall

Nadiya Bychkova has broken her silence after falling on her back in a horror fall during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals. The Strictly professional was rushed to hospital yesterday during rehearsals, The Mirror exclusively revealed. The star was training in north London on Tuesday lunchtime when she was left in agony after injuring herself, with an ambulance being called. An insider told us: "It looked pretty nasty and no-one was taking any chances. The Strictly crew rushed into action and she was stretchered out," with a source close to Strictly adding that rehearsals continued. "As a precaution, following a fall during rehearsals, Nadiya was taken to hospital for checks and is receiving full support from medical and welfare teams. Rehearsals continue and the Strictly team are in close contact with Nadiya," the source said. It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulled out of the show as he made a career announcement. Nadiya has now broken her silence following the horror fall and explained how "scary" it had all been. Fans had been worried about whether she could continue in the competition, which kicks off in a matter of weeks. She wrote on social media: "Well… where do I start? What a 24 hours! Thank you so much for all the messages, love and support. I just wanted you to know that I am ok. I had a fall in training yesterday and landed on my back. "I was really worried for a while and I was so thankful to the Strictly family and medical team who really looked after me. The staff at the hospital were so kind and caring. I'm smiling in the picture but it was really scary and there were a few tears as I had to lie still for hours but I was given the all-clear after an x-ray and allowed to go home." Giving an update, she added: "I've got some physio today but I will be back on that dance floor soon and I'll be ready to shine and sparkle in the new series of the biggest show on TV. I can't wait for you to see it. Keep dancing!" Nadiya horrified Strictly fans when they learned of her fall - but it looks like she will be ok and will be able to dance this series. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:37pm on Tuesday 12 August to reports of an incident at Regent's Park Road, NW1. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital".
