Shah Rukh Khan silenced a netizen's question about his retirement during an Ask SRK session on X. He confirmed a cameo in Aryan Khan's debut series, Ba***ds of Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan has once again proved why he's rightly called the King of Sass. The actor took fans by surprise when he posted an Ask SRK session on X (formerly Twitter). While laying the groundwork for Aryan Khan's debut directorial series' big reveal tomorrow, August 17, King Khan slammed a user who asked him to retire from films and make way for younger actors. Before the post, the actor, ironically, parted words of wisdom to a fan who asked him if trolls ever bother him.
During a recent Ask SRK session on X (formerly Twitter), the actor was asked by a netizen when he plans to retire. The fan's question seemed to irk SRK, who hit back with a tongue-in-cheek response. He wrote, 'Bhai Tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye… Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please (Brother, when the childishness in your questions goes away… then ask something good! Till then, please stay in temporary retirement)." Take a look:

The tweet quickly went viral, with fans praising the 58-year-old actor for his sharp comeback. Many users flooded the comments section, applauding how he always manages to deal with trolls in style.
Interestingly, minutes before his lash-out post, King Khan wrote to a fan asking him if gym injury hurts more or reading trolls on X. The superstar responded, 'Dumbells and Action can break my bones…but words can never hurt me!! I am too busy listening to the music in my heart man."

Priya Bapat says OTT has given her challenging parts to play

Mumbai: Actress Priya Bapat, who leads the investigation in the recently released psychological-horror streaming series 'Andhera', has said that working on OTT has been a very rewarding experience for her. The actress spoke with IANS during the promotional run of the show, and shared that while she has been working in the Hindi and Marathi cinema for over 20 years, it's the OTT, which has given her the opportunity to try meatier parts. She told IANS, 'I feel that I think I have got more meaty parts and more challenging roles in the space of OTT now even from the time I started be it 'City of Dreams' or 'Andhera', every show that I have done so far has given me a lot more. Everything I did and learnt in my Marathi industry and from the cinema that I did, I think more than the box-office, OTT really has been challenging, experimenting and it's a great space to be'. The actress also called the experience of working in OTT, a liberating experience as makers on OTT trust her with parts which are well-fleshed out. She further mentioned, 'It is liberating, and also for an actor like me it's a great time because people are trusting you with different parts, more women characters are being written in a good way in a good space'. 'Andhera', which is set in Mumbai, follows Inspector Kalpana Kadam and Jay, a medical student, who become entangled in a missing-person case that unearths a sinister presence beneath the city. The series explores the fictional space of 'What if darkness comes to life?'. It also stars Surveen Chawla, Priya Bapat and Prajakta Koli. Produced by Excel Entertainment, and directed by Raaghav Dar, the series is available to stream on Prime Video.

Asked If He Throws "Tantrums On Sets", Shah Rukh Khan's LOL Reply, "Nobody Allows Me..."

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Does Shah Rukh Khan throw tantrums on set? Fans were eager to find out during his latest "Ask SRK" session. The superstar addressed the question with his trademark humour, leaving no room for doubt about his on-set behaviour. On Saturday evening, the superstar surprised everyone by hosting a fresh Q&A session after a long break. During the chat, he answered questions about his upcoming film 'King,' and even gave a soft launch to his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut series 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood.' When asked if he throws tantrums on sets, SRK dismissed the idea with his trademark humour. "Nobody allows me to throw tantrums on sets," he wrote. Adding a cheeky twist, he continued, "Now on King even less the director is so too strict and organised." King is being directed by Siddharth Anand, who earlier helmed Pathaan. Another fan asked about the release of 'King.' SRK replied with his usual wit: "Did some good shoot... starting soon again. Only leg shots, then moving to the upper body... Insha Allah, it will be done fast. @justSidAnand is working hard to finish." During the same Q&A session, a fan asked when they could see something from Aryan's series. Shah Rukh playfully responded, "So many people are asking, so I have to tell Netflix... Beta show bana raha hai, Baap sirf wait kar raha hai... @NetflixIndia, Tum kya kar rahe ho??!!" to which Netflix responded that the first look of Aryan Khan's show would be unveiled on August 17. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh recently won his first-ever National Film Award. The actor was honoured with the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards for his powerful performance in 'Jawan'. SRK made his highly anticipated return to the big screen in January 2023 after a four-year hiatus with YRF's 'Pathaan,' which shattered box-office records and attracted a massive audience. Following the success of 'Pathaan,' SRK gave fans another blockbuster with Jawan, which not only delighted movie buffs but also earned him his first National Award.
