Video: Corgi Makes Toddlers Laugh Hard During Playtime
Corgi playing with toddlers turns into laughter fest in adorable video
A Corgi named Benji gave his baby siblings some company during bath time. Only this time, he decided to bring out his chaotic and fun persona to the table. The viral Instagram video captured the dog enjoying the moment to his fullest while also giving the kids something to laugh about. In the clip's caption, the owner claimed that his actions were a way to tease the toddlers. In the post, they wrote, 'It's so cute how much they love each other…'
The bond between Benji and the kids was evident in the Instagram video. It began with the Corgi jumping up the steps that led to the bathroom, where his siblings were preparing to freshen up for the day. As he ran towards them and leapt over the bathtub, his baby sister screamed in response, which was followed by non-stop laughter from the kids. The dog soon realized this was a fun activity and decided to repeat it.
Benji left the bathroom and took a right turn towards a room, only to return with more force. The siblings, who were still laughing from his first attack, weren't prepared for his comeback. The Corgi leaped once again, extracting more laughter from the toddlers. By this time, the dog understood that his siblings loved his antics. For the final run, he ran far into another room and disappeared for a bit.
Just when the kids' laughter subsided, Benji sped into the bathroom at the speed of light and continued his chaotic interaction with his brother and sister. The siblings couldn't get enough of their pet's love and kept asking for more. Meanwhile, fans took to the comments section to shower praises for Benji and his bond with his siblings. A few noted that this is a moment worth remembering forever.

Jamie Lee Curtis Explains Why Comedies and Family Movies Don't Often Get Oscar Recognition
It's rare to see a true comedy film in contention at the Oscars, and rarer still to see a lighthearted family film up for consideration. And, in a recent interview, Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis had a guess as to why that might be. Sitting down with Canadian television show Etalk in support of her new film 'Freakier Friday' (in theaters, fittingly, this Friday), Curtis and her co-star Sophia Hammons responded to questions sent in by fans via text message. One such message asked Curtis specifically for her take on why 'more lighthearted/family movies don't win Oscars nowadays.' More from TheWrap Jamie Lee Curtis Explains Why Comedies and Family Movies Don't Often Get Oscar Recognition | Video Sony Sees 23% Increase in Profit From Gaming Despite Uneven Quarter for Film Dick's Sporting Goods Launches In-House Production Studio Warner Bros. Lays Out Plans for 12-14 Theatrical Releases a Year Across DC, New Line and Other Labels 'It's a very good question. Comedies and family movies do not land as serious,' Curtis said. 'Oscars have a more serious sort of vibe to them.' Curtis then asked Hammons if she personally considered 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' a drama or a comedy. Directed by the duo known as The Daniels (Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan), the movie earned Curtis her first Oscar back in 2023 for Best Supporting Actress. That fact is something Curtis was still in awe about at the start of the question. Hammons quickly answered with drama, but just as quickly conceded that the film had comedic elements as well, with Curtis noting, 'It's pretty funny.' With that juxtaposition, Curtis didn't have a concrete answer for the fan's text, admitting she doesn't know for sure. So, her reply text was simple: 'Good question no idea.' When asked in a follow-up question whether there are any children's films that Curtis and Hammons think deserved an Oscar but were snubbed, they were quick to keep it in the Disney family, immediately naming the 1998 animated film 'Mulan.' 'Freakier Friday' hits theaters on Friday, Aug. 8. The post Jamie Lee Curtis Explains Why Comedies and Family Movies Don't Often Get Oscar Recognition | Video appeared first on TheWrap.

AEW Superstar Undergoes Surgery
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. AEW star Buddy Matthews is set to be on the sidelines for the foreseeable future. The House of Black member confirmed on Thursday that he is undergoing ankle surgery. In a post on his Instagram story, Matthews shared a photo of himself at a hospital. He was alongside his real-life partner, former WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, just before he went in for the procedure. Buddy Matthews is getting surgery to repair his ankle. Speedy recovery. — Andrew Ravens l (@Andrew_Ravens) August 7, 2025 A Sidelined House Of Black Member Matthews has been largely absent from AEW programming in recent weeks. This surgery now provides a legitimate reason for his time away from the ring as he begins his recovery. The specific nature of the ankle injury and a potential timetable for his return have not yet been disclosed. His absence further complicates the status of the House of Black faction, as fellow member Brody King has recently been competing in the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament with a new partner, Bandido. From "Best Kept Secret" to House Of Black Buddy Matthews has had a decorated career in both WWE and AEW. WWE fans will remember him from his time in NXT, where he was a one-time NXT Tag Team Champion. He later had a career-defining run on the 205 Live brand, where he was repackaged as "The Best Kept Secret" and had a dominant, critically acclaimed reign as the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He was revealed as the third member of the dark and mysterious faction, the House of Black, alongside Malakai Black and Brody King. An Uncertain Future The House of Black quickly became one of the most popular and dominant groups in AEW. Their biggest success came when they captured the AEW World Trios Championship and held the titles for a significant portion of 2023. This injury is an unfortunate setback for the talented Australian star. The wrestling world now wishes him a full and speedy recovery and awaits the eventual, and likely ominous, return of the full House of Black. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
