Joshua Jackson and Simone Ashley appeared close during an outing together in New York City.
The Odyssey actor, 47, and the Bridgerton star, 30, were photographed smiling and laughing on Saturday.
The two were clearly in good spirits as they walked in the NYC heat.
Jackson dressed casually in a white T-shirt, dark pants and green sneakers while Ashley matched the relaxed vibe in a white lace tank top, a printed midi skirt and white sneakers.
This is the first time the two have been spotted together.

Reps for Jackson and Ashley didn't immediately return Page Six's request for comment.
Jackson was last linked to Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o after they were spotted passionately kissing on the beach in Mexico in March 2024.
But by that October, she shared she was single.

The Canadian actor was married to Jodie Turner-Smith from December 2019 to May 2025. They went through a contentious divorce, including an ongoing custody battle over their 5-year-old daughter, Juno.
Jackson made headlines with another one of his exes when he was photographed in NYC last month on the set of the upcoming feature film trilogy, Happy Hours, with his Dawson's Creek co-star, Katie Holmes. Fans were delighted to see Jackson and Homes — who dated in 1998 for a year — filming scenes together.

As for Ashley, she shared she was in her 'single era' in March after her break-up from Constantin 'Tino' Klein.
'It's about self-growth, and I am looking for someone who is so confident in themselves and is really ready to have an open heart in the same way I do,' she told People. 'And I think that's hard to find.'
The British actress said she was 'not in a rush' to find love after getting out of a two-year relationship with the CEO.
'It can be easy to jump into the next thing immediately, which is something that I am choosing not to do,' she said. 'I want to take my time to find the right person for me and to work on myself — to grow, and to focus on my work.'

Zoe Kravitz's mum Lisa Bonet ‘destroyed' part of Taylor Swift's home after losing her pet snake

Zoë Kravitz has revealed that she stayed at Taylor Swift's sprawling Beverly Hills home as the deadly wildfires ravaged through California earlier this year. During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, Kravitz said that the 14-time Grammy winner opened up her lavish $US25 million ($38.1m) Beverly Hills mansion to her and her famous mum, Lisa Bonet. 'We ended up having to stay there for about two weeks,' the High Fidelity actor said, adding that they were joined by her mum's pet snake, Orpheus. 'And Taylor has this beautiful house. It's from the '30s, something you want to preserve and take care of.' The actor said that while she tries to be a 'good houseguest' who leaves 'places better than I found them', she did end up accidentally 'destroying' a part of the Cruel Summer singer's pricey abode. As the mother-daughter duo was cleaning before leaving the home at the end of their stay, the Batman actor received a call from Bonet, who was also inside the property. After looking for her for some time, Kravitz found Bonet 'crouched in the corner in this weird way' in the upstairs bathroom. 'And I'm like, 'What's going on dude?' And she's like, 'So I was washing my face and I had Orpheus and I just put her down for a second. Closed the door and she found this little hole in the corner',' she explained. The 36-year-old said that the room had a banquette built into the wall next to a small hole in the wall – in which the snake was trapped. The pair began their rescue mission as Bonet grabbed her snake's tail. However, the pressure of the situation caused them both to go into 'panic' mode, prompting the snake to slither further into the wall. Eventually, Kravitz called Swift's house manager, who came equipped with a crowbar to 'tear apart the banquette'. 'We're ripping up the tile. We're scratching the walls,' she recalled. 'Completely destroyed Taylor's bathroom and there was just this moment where I was like, 'Either we destroy her bathroom or I have to tell her that there's a snake somewhere in her house'. 'I said to her house manager, 'Obviously, I'm gonna pay for everything to be fixed. Please just don't say anything until it's fixed'.' But when Kravitz had called Swift, her longtime friend of many years, to confess the situation, the Fortnight singer was already in the know. 'I remember calling her saying, 'Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something'. And she was like, 'Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?'' Kravitz quipped that the singer's next album would be titled 'Orpheus' — a wishful claim that was squashed this week after Swift unveiled the actual title for her upcoming 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. Kravitz has been close pals with the Wildest Dreams singer for more than a decade, and has grown even closer in recent years. The pair were spotted grabbing dinner in NYC together on various occasions last year — not long after Kravitz's split from ex-fiance Channing Tatum.

Taylor Swift set to take aim at Donald Trump on new album as she reveals truth about ‘dark chapters' in her life

Taylor Swift is reportedly planning to use her new album to silence critics who claimed her career has gone 'broke' since she 'went woke'. Swift broke the internet on Tuesday when she shocked the world by announcing her new album The Life of A Showgirl. And now details are slowly emerging about the star's new record, with an insider telling Daily Mail that the album could be one of her most personal yet while taking aim at her right-wing critics. Despite being 'feel good', it's believed the album will also be used to address some of the 'darkest chapters' in her life. 'Some of the songs sound dramatic in terms of the instrumental, but the lyrical content on a few is romantic,' a source revealed of the new music. 'It is absolutely inspired by Travis. Being loved by him has really helped her overcome some dark chapters in her life. The insider added: 'He is proof that there are kind men out there with good hearts and fans will hear how happy she is in the songs.' When it comes to Blake Lively, the insider added: 'She did write about Blake last year but it's no longer the focus of the album because she wanted it to be positive and feel-good.' It comes after Travis Kelce gave a rare glimpse into his romance with Swift amid frenzied excitement over her album announcement. The NFL star appeared on the cover of GQ on Tuesday, opening up in the accompanying interview about how the pair first fell in love. 'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people,' Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, said. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. 'It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about, and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out. 'But I would say that it's as normal of … it happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.' Kelce added that he and Swift, both 35, 'fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with'. 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are,' he said. 'We share all those values. It kind of just took the f**k off.'

E.L.F. Cosmetics slammed for hiring controversial comedian

A well-known beauty brand is under fire for its inclusion of a controversial comedian in its latest campaign. E.L.F. Cosmetics released a new ad on August 11 that featured drag queen Heidi N Closet as ' and comedian Matt Rife as 'schmarnes'. The legal-themed advertisement builds on a Superbowl 2024 campaign, and sees Heidi N Closet and Rife try to defend their clients from overpriced beauty products. Kory Marchisotto, Chief Marketing Officer of e.l.f. Beauty, said of the ad; 'For 21 years e.l.f. has been making the best of beauty accessible to every eye, lip and face. 'From 'Cosmetic Criminals' to 'Judge Beauty' to the law offices of ' and schmarnes', we stand with our community in favour of beauty justice. 'Our vigorous defence is high quality beauty without compromise – to your wallet or your values. That's the way.' However many people have been left unimpressed with the inclusion of Rife in the campaign, after he was widely condemned for featuring a domestic violence joke in his 2023 Netflix special. During the special, Rife recalled an incident about a waitress he was served by that had a black eye. 'My boy who I was with was like, 'Yeah, I feel bad for her, man, I feel like they should put her in the kitchen or something where nobody has to see her face.' And I was like, 'Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn't have that black eye,'' Rife said, according to Independent. Rife's response to anger at the joke included an Instagram story with a link that people were encouraged to click on to 'solve their issue'. The link led to a website that sold helmets for people with disabilities. After the E. L. F Cosmetics ad dropped, people were quick to issue their anger with the brand for including a man they claim doesn't respect women, and for taking away an opportunity from a beauty creator. 'Bruh not Matt Rife. I love y'all as a brand but Matt Rife is not a good person,' one person said. Another added: 'You didn't have the budget for a comedian who doesn't joke about abuse?' 'Out of all the people in the world,' one social media user said. Another added: 'I truly can't believe that not one person at E. L. F did not say, 'We should not partner with a man who makes jokes about domestic violence'.' 'E. L. F I have always used and loved your products especially since they are more affordable and accessible but I cannot support you guys when you think Matt Rife being on your payroll and making an advertisement for y'all is a good choice. We have so many better people in the world,' one commented. Another said: 'I guess 2025 is the year of brands completely losing touch with who their audience is.' 'So you've paid a comedian who jokes about domestic violence to promote your make up brand, are you going to be promoting a good concealer to cover bruises next,' one said. 'You could have picked hundreds of other comedians to be in your ad, put the money into the pocket of someone who would be a positive role model but yet you chose someone who thinks domestic violence is something to joke about. 'I can't understand how he has anything to do with make up. You've shown your lack of compassion by completely ignoring anything but positive comments. I won't ever be buying E. L. F products which is a shame after so many years of supporting you.' One added: 'Well I guess E. L. F is off my approved makeup list.' 'I'm out sorry E. L. F,' one commented.
