This 'white winged dove' has a few more songs to sing.
Stevie Nicks just announced she's extending her 2025 tour. The Rock Hall of Famer now has 17 shows at arenas and halls all over North America from August through October.
Of the eight newly-added concerts, two will take place in New York and New Jersey.
Up first is her gig at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Friday, Aug. 8, which kicks off the nationwide run. A little over two months later, the 'Landslide' singer returns to the Tri-State for an evening at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, Oct. 18.
These shows will serve as makeups of sorts for her cancelled Aug. 8 MetLife Stadium co-headlining concert with Billy Joel that was called off after the Piano Man announced he was taking time off from touring — but not officially retiring — due to a brain disorder.
At all shows, Nicks typically performs 15 or so songs, according to Set List FM. That includes Fleetwood Mac classics, solo career favorites and a classic rock cover or two.
'Hope to see you out there,' the 77-year-old songstress shared via Instagram

Stevie Nicks new music

A few months before that, in September 2024, Nicks unveiled the urgent 'The Lighthouse,' her first original single in four years. If you'd like to hear for yourself, the politically-charged anthem can be found here.

Danny Boyle says he filmed '28 Years Later' with iPhones, drones, and a goat

Many Hollywood directors use expensive cameras to film their blockbusters. Danny Boyle 's approach to filming his zombie sequel "28 Years Later" was a bit more… experimental. "We did strap a camera to some animals a couple of times — yeah, a goat," Boyle told Business Insider. The director, whose 2002 horror classic "28 Days Later" was shot on digital cameras for a deliberately lo-fi look, was keen to take a similarly unconventional approach with his follow-up film two decades later. The movie, written by Alex Garland, follows 12-year-old Spike (Alfie Williams) as he leaves his secluded island home for the first time with his father, Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), and comes face-to-face with hordes of people infected with the Rage Virus. To capture their terrifying encounters with zombies, Boyle told BI he relied on iPhones, drones, and yes, those goats. While Boyle said the goat shot didn't make it into the final cut, the tactic prompted him to try strapping a camera to a new variant of the infected, called the "Slow-Low," which crawls on the ground eating bugs. "Having done it with the goats, you then think, 'Oh!'" Boyle said. That Slow-Low shot made it into the film — and into the trailer, too. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eammon Jacobs (@eammonjacobs) For the film's pulse-pounding chase scenes, Boyle relied on iPhones and drones instead of heavy high-tech equipment. "Any smartphone now can record at 4K, indeed up to 60 frames per second, which is more than enough resolution you need for cinema exhibition," he said. Keeping the crew light on their feet also helped them more easily navigate the wild landscape of Northumberland, the UK region used as a filming location for "28 Years Later." Plus, there's an added bonus: shooting on iPhones makes things "way, way cheaper."

Barbara Corcoran's 'plastic surgery secrets' and why honesty matters

Barbara Corcoran's 'plastic surgery secrets' and why honesty matters Show Caption Hide Caption Christina Aguilera responds to plastic surgery comments The 44-year-old popstar has been subject to scrutiny due to her new look, with some saying she has had "undetectable" cosmetic surgery. unbranded - Entertainment What's Barbara Corcoran's secret to looking great at 76? Plastic surgery − lots of it. The real estate mogul and "Shark Tank" star got candid on Instagram earlier this month in a post detailing all the cosmetic procedures she's had. In the post, Corcoran said she's had three facelifts, a lower eyelid skin pinch, a brow lift, a neck lift and an eyelift. Not to mention, she also gets her hair cut and colored at home every six weeks, filler (including ear filler) four times a year, a brow wax once a month, professional teeth whitening and more. "Heard the cool kids were sharing their plastic surgery secrets," Corcoran wrote in the caption, adding in the post: "I woke up like this..." Corcoran has long been honest about the work she's had done, and her transparency is something more celebrities could learn from. After all, mental health experts have previously told USA TODAY that, when it comes to cosmetic procedures, celebrities' honesty is crucial. By speaking out about changes they've made to their bodies, celebrities like Corcoran help curb unrealistic beauty expectations and give their fans a more healthy view of body image. Yikes: People are getting black-market silicone injected into their butts. Doctors are horrified. Why celebrities should be transparent about cosmetic procedures More celebrities are talking about their cosmetic procedures, which experts say can benefit fans who often look to famous people as they analyze their own self-images. According to a 2014 study, those who "worship" celebrities may "harbor concerns about body image, be more prone to cosmetic surgery" and be more likely to struggle with their mental health. Other big names who have opened up about their choices include Megan Fox, who revealed on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in 2024 that she got her breasts done when she was 21 or 22 and then had them redone after breastfeeding her kids. She also said she had a procedure on her nose in her early 20s. Kaley Cuoco has also been lauded for openly discussing her cosmetic surgeries, and Dolly Parton famously said "if something is bagging, sagging or dragging, I'll tuck it, suck it or pluck it." Courteney Cox admitted to "looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now," and, in October, Sia revealed she got a face lift and then in December said she underwent liposuction. In a 2022 American Society of Plastic Surgeons article, Amy Schumer received praise for opening up about her liposuction after having surgery to treat endometriosis. For Corcoran, plastic surgery indirectly saved her life. She shared on YouTuber Doctor Mike's podcast in 2023 that she discovered she had cancer following a plastic surgery consultation. 'I had built my business, sold it, and I worked so hard, such long hours, building that business that I looked it − my face looked it. So I decided to have a face lift," Corcoran said. "I was 46, went to the best surgeon in New York, checked everybody out, showed up at his office ready to make my appointment for the facelift, and he sent me to a cancer doctor." What health & wellness means for you: Sign up for USA TODAY's Keeping It Together newsletter She added: "While I was at the cancer doctor, I realized, this is real surgery that I need. And I got my eye lift for free! I was so happy." Experts agree plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures are nothing to be ashamed of and transparency from celebrities is critical to dismantling unhealthy beauty norms. Embracing such vulnerability reminds people, particularly young girls, they weren't supposed to be born with the fuller lips or chiseled jaws they see in media. When celebrities conceal the work they've had done, they risk leading people to believe certain features are naturally obtainable. "Many celebrities look good naturally, but many also have work done. And when they're not honest about it, I think they're being unethical because they're in the spotlight,' Dr. Daniel Barrett, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, previously told USA TODAY – unlike average people who can benefit from and take advantage of keeping their body alterations private. Did you read? Christina Aguilera, 'undetectable' plastic surgery and how celebrities are 'Benjamin Buttoning' Deceiving the public about plastic surgery can cause problems Concealing cosmetic procedures can have detrimental and long-lasting consequences on people's mental and physical health, experts added. The pressure to be perfect can also contribute to disordered eating. "The psychological pressure to meet societal beauty standards can be difficult to manage, especially because it can leave you feeling like you're never good enough," Naomi Torres-Mackie, a clinical psychologist and head of research at the Mental Health Coalition, previously told USA TODAY. Torres-Mackie called these beauty comparisons "a rigged race that's unwinnable,' adding it's still the norm to 'hide all imperfections at any cost' despite the push for body positivity. She also said admitting to cosmetic work "takes a certain level of vulnerability." "It's a brave thing to do that could potentially help others," she added. Instead of shaming others, or ourselves, for how we look, we should prioritize shifting the conversation around beauty and body image, Elizabeth Daniels, associate professor of developmental psychology at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, previously told USA TODAY: "We should be encouraged to celebrate the differences and think about beauty more broadly. There is no one way to be beautiful." Contributing: Katie Camero, Morgan Hines and Jenna Ryu

Nicholas Galitzine shows off his bulging biceps for hunky He-Man transformation

Nicholas Galitzine has officially left his twink era in the dust! The Red, White & Royal Blue star has been teasing his new muscles for months, but now that filming for the upcoming He-Man movie, Masters of the Universe, has finally wrapped, Galitzine star is driving fans wild by giving us a sneak peek at his transformation from twink to twunk. Yesterday, he posted a backlit photo on Instagram that showed off his new bod in his He-Man costume, carrying the iconic Power Sword on his back. But today, he gave fans what they've been craving when he dropped new behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the set of Masters of the Universe. Galitzine posted a carousel of images and videos that showed off all the work he's put in at the gym with the caption, 'Just a lil BTS and training from the last few months. (I can't show you nada)' See on Instagram The first image is a gym selfie that shows the 30-year-old actor in a white tank top, black sweats, and a baseball hat, flexing his biceps in a way that is sure to have gay basements flooding across the internet. There is also a photo of Galitzine with what appears to be his body double, wearing a pink button-down that seems like a nod to the pink tunic worn by Eternia's legendary hero in the original '80s cartoon, the movie is based on. But if you didn't already have the hots for Galitzine, the video footage that features him practicing sword fighting and a second one showing off his skills as a boxer is sure to have you thirsting over the Mary & George star. — (@) Amazon MGM Studio's long-anticipated live-action reboot of the iconic '80s franchise also stars Alison Brie, Jared Leto, Idris Elba, and Camila Mendes, and finds Prince Adam (AKA He-Man) living an ordinary life on Earth, totally unaware he possesses tremendous power until he stumbles upon the Power Sword which send him hurtling back to Eternia to save his kingdom. To play the 'most powerful man in the universe,' Galitzine had to dramatically change his lifestyle so he could bulk up. 'I'm eating about 4,000 calories a day, but the amount of physical work I'm doing, you end up hungry at the end of the day, which is quite surprising,' he told W Magazine back in January. Masters of the Universe is slated for theatrical release on June 5, 2026, followed by streaming on Prime Video. So if you think Pride Month is usually the sexiest time of the year, just wait until next June when the movie drops and gays everywhere line up to see Galitzine in all his loin-cloth clad glory.
