Glen Powell's Ex Revealed What Really Happened in His PR Relationship With Sydney Sweeney
In early 2023, when dating rumors were swirling between Anyone But You co-stars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, news broke that Powell and his longtime girlfriend Gigi Paris had gone their separate ways. Of course, that only boosted the rumors even more. But what really happened behind the scenes?
In a new episode of the Too Much podcast, Paris, who dated Powell from January 2020 to April 2023, opened up about their split. According to her, Powell embraced the dating rumors at the time as a strategic PR move for their rom-com, no matter how strongly his girlfriend pushed against it.

'This is what I have to do for my job,' Powell reportedly told Paris, per Us Weekly. 'I had two options,' she then said. 'I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, 'Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she OK with this? What the f—?' Or stand up for myself and say, 'No, I'm actually not OK with this, and I'm walking away.' So that's what I decided to do.'
'I just wanted respect, especially if it's gonna be public,' Paris said. 'Like, don't make an ass out of me. Like, just don't make a fool out of someone you've been with for over three years, talking about forever with. Just have some decency, you know?'
From the looks of it, Powell was just not willing to put their relationship above his acting career.
'At the end of the day, it was like, well, work comes first,' Paris said of the Top Gun: Maverick star. 'And if that's the case, power to you, that's your priority. I gotta walk away. What sucked was how it was handled. I felt like I was just fed to the dogs.'
Looking back, Paris admitted that it wouldn't have taken much for her to back off.
'Where are you when you just need to stand up and say, 'No, I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I wouldn't do that.' That's all that needed to be said,' she said. 'And that wasn't said. Never once.'
'It was serving them for their PR,' she said. 'Later on, it turned out that it was all, I don't know if there was a relationship there or not, but then they came out to say it was all a PR scheme at the expense of our relationship. Like, it was just crazy.'
Paris also revealed what her last straw was before calling it quits.
'I got a phone call from him right when I was about to go to Australia to work — all this s— was coming out on the Internet – and he called and said, 'The producers and I have discussed that I think it's best that you don't come to visit,'' she remembered. 'And that's when I hung up. And I was like, 'This motherf— is done to me.''
Paris and Powell called it quits in April 2023. Powell and Sweeney, who is now single herself after her split from ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, have never confirmed a relationship.Best of SheKnows

Woman Is Confident Her Chair Is Blue — But the Internet Has Other Plans
One TikTok user grabbed the internet's attention over the color of her chair. The saga began in early June when a now-viral video was shared by Kristin (@ which has now amassed over two million views. In the beginning of the clip, she asked the question that started it all: 'Is this chair gray or blue?" Kristin explained that she was asking because she was giving the chair away to someone, and the person thought the chair was gray while Kristin had always believed her chair was blue. "And she's like, 'Can you get more pictures? It's gray.' And I'm like, 'OK, but my couch and my chair have always been blue,' but now she's gaslighting me and I'm starting to believe it." The California resident then flips her phone camera to reveal the chair in question, leaving many users baffled at the sight of it. 'It's not only gray, it's very freaking gray,' one user said. 'I adjusted the screen brightness on my phone and everything trying my hardest to back you up, but sweet Moses that is a very gray chair,' said another user. Despite differing in opinion with the internet, Kristin continued to be in good spirits and joked about the debacle in videos. 'It can't be gray! It's not gray, is it?' she said as she laughed in a video posted after her viral video. Users also pointed out that a couch in the background of her original video matched the chair's color, leaving Kristin with another question: What other things in her house are gray? 'The couch is navy. The couch was never part of the question… the couch has always been dark blue!' she said in a follow-up video. She then introduces other items in her house that she thought were blue or gray, and TikTok users were quick to share their opinions. 'The rug is dark navy blue. But your couch and that blanket are 100% grey,' one user said. After a few days of realizations and laughs, Kristin sat down to take an online color blind test, though she emphasized she would go to a doctor before confirming anything. The test results suggested that she may be protan color blind, where she may have red-green color blindness. Though the realization was a shock, Kristin stayed in good spirits and has now asked viewers to help her pick a new couch. In the comments, one person thought up the scenario in which Kristin accidentally buys another gray couch. 'I'm checking the description this time,' Kristin replied with a laughing emoji.
