Stranger Things may be coming to a close soon, with its season 5 set to premiere sometime this year, but the bonds among the cast are as strong as ever. (Spending literal years upon years battling Vecna and traveling through the Upside Down will do that to ya.) Some of the Stranger Things cast just proved that Hawkins lives on, as stars Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Maya Hawke (Robin), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), and Natalia Dyer (Nancy) got together to support Sadie Sink, a.k.a. Max, at the opening night of her Broadway play, John Proctor is the Villain.
The play features a group of high school students in Appalachia reading The Crucible during the #MeToo movement and reckoning with its themes and portrayals of women on the page and off. Sink plays a character named Shelby and is getting rave reviews for her performance; Variety said she gives 'a spellbinding performance as a girl who is deeply pained but shielded with thick armor.'
The Stranger Things cast has spent pivotal years growing up in the spotlight together, and saying goodbye wasn't easy. Sink told Teen Vogue that she initially began season five 'in denial' about what was to come. 'And then towards the end… there was this numbness, like, 'Oh God, what's gonna happen? What am I gonna do?' That final day, it was one of the most emotional days in my life. I'm really grateful that it was. To be on a show for that long, then get to the final day, and to get to break down in that way. And be like, I don't want it to end. That was so special. But saying goodbye to, like, childhood literally... It was a lot. It was heavy.'
She also reflected on the friendship she shared with her castmates, and how she carries that into her post-Stranger Things life. 'It was easy to forget how much these people really knew me and saw me. We speak the same language,' Sink told Teen Vogue. 'But in this last season I really came to terms with that. That's why it was so emotional, but also so beautiful, knowing that now it's up to us — that responsibility is on us to [sustain] the friendship. It was really nice to have that reckoning. Like, 'I don't have to explain anything to you guys. You just get it. You know who I am.''
But the Netflix series isn't over yet. We know the final episode of Stranger Things will be a tearjerker, as David Harbour, who plays Hopper, told People that pretty much everyone was crying after the table read. 'The end of this episode when we were reading it — just us reading it — about halfway through, people started crying,' he explained. 'Then about the last 20 minutes, it was just uncontrollably crying, waves of different people."
Though it's sad to say goodbye to their characters, the Stranger Things cast definitely proves that friendship is forever.

Madonna Announces A New Album Dropping Next Month

Madonna announces Veronica Electronica, a remix album of Ray of Light era tracks, arriving July 25 ... More and led by 'Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit).' NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 05: Madonna attends the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" at Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 05, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/MG25/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue) For several months now, Madonna has been teasing the next chapter of her musical career. The superstar revealed on social media not long ago that she's working on a follow-up to her album Confessions on a Dance Floor, which she is currently referring to as Confessions 2. There's no word yet on when fans will get to hear anything from that project. But they won't have to wait long before they can listen to new tunes from the icon, as she has announced a completely separate full-length that's set to arrive in only a few weeks. Madonna has announced a new album titled Veronica Electronica. The full-length remix set is expected to drop on July 25. The first tune from the project, "Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)," was shared at the time of the announcement. Veronica Electronica features seven previously unreleased and rare remixes of songs from her album Ray of Light. The tracklist includes smashes like "Frozen," "Nothing Really Matters," and, of course, the title track, as well as several other cuts. Fans who pick up a copy of the album will also be treated to a never-before-shared demo of the song "Gone, Gone, Gone," which wasn't originally featured on Ray of Light. According to a press release announcing Veronica Electronica, the album was apparently conceived back in 1998 during her Ray of Light era. When the full-length took off and became hugely successful—perhaps more so than some in her camp were expecting—the remixes were put aside and never revisited until now, more than a quarter-century later. It's now been almost six years since Madonna released a new studio full-length. Madame X, her fourteenth project, dropped in the summer of 2019. The Grammy winner has reportedly already played Confessions 2 for some people, but when it comes to the general public, she's remaining quiet about the set. Madonna is also currently busy prepping a Netflix miniseries about her life, which was once meant to be a feature-length film, but which appears to have shifted mediums, perhaps in order to fit more story in.

Tom Felton To Play Draco Malfoy In ‘Cursed Child' On Broadway—How To Buy Tickets

While the role of Draco Malfoy has yet to be cast in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series, original actor Tom Felton isn't giving up his wand just yet. After starring in all eight movies of the original blockbuster film series from 2001 to 2011, Felton is now making his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This casting marks the first time anyone from the original films has appeared in the stage production. Felton will play the adult version of Draco at the Lyric Theatre in New York City, beginning Nov. 11 for a 19-week run through March 22, 2026. 'Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honors of my life," he said in a statement. "Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me, because when I begin performances in Cursed Child this fall, I'll also be the exact age Draco is in the play.' The news was first announced on Today on Thursday, June 5, where the actor revealed that his casting is 'very much a pinch-me' situation. 'I keep thinking I'm dreaming. I let go of that character 16 years ago, and now getting a chance to step back into his shoes — as a father this time, in a new story — I get to meet Draco as an adult, which is very exciting.' Over on Instagram, Felton and the official Harry Potter and the Cursed Child accounts shared a first look at Felton in his black robes and sleek blonde hairstyle, resembling his on-screen father, Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs). Felton admitted he "cried" when he tried on the character's platinum wig again after so long, considering how deeply the franchise shaped his childhood. "I've been very excited to share this news, and I had to keep it under wraps for quite a while," the 37-year-old added. Want to buy tickets to see Felton as Draco in the historic role? Here's what to know about securing seats during the 19-week run. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Thorne. The plot takes place 19 years after the events of J.K. Rowling's novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry is now an adult, married to Ginny Weasley, and serves as the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic. He has three children, including Albus, who is beginning his journey at Hogwarts. After being sorted into Slytherin, Albus struggles with the weight of his family legacy. The play debuted in London's West End in the summer of 2016. Chris Columbus, the director behind the first two Harry Potter films, told The Hollywood Reporter in 2021 that he would be open to directing an adaptation of the stage sequel featuring the original main cast – Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson – as their adult counterparts. "A version of Cursed Child with Dan, Rupert and Emma at the right age, it's cinematic bliss. If you're a film nerd or cinephile, it's kind of like what J.J. Abrams did with Star Wars... There's no question if you're a Star Wars fan, you were moved just seeing them on screen, seeing Harrison Ford as Han Solo again — and Chewy," he said. "I think that would be the same situation for Harry Potter fans. To able to actually see these adult actors now back in these roles? Oh, yeah. It would be amazingly fun to make that film — or two films," Columbus added.

Wicked: For Good Is On Its Way—Here's the First Trailer

Good news! She's…baaaack! Yes, gentle reader, Wicked is returning and the first trailer has landed. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will reprise their roles as Elphaba and Glinda for act two of everyone's favorite musical, hitting a theater near you this fall. After the blockbuster release of Part One in November 2024—which ruled the box office and earned 10 Oscar nominations, along with a soundtrack that topped many a Spotify Wrapped—fans have been patiently waiting for the news of the second film. Will Elphie and Glinda reunite? What of Fiyero? Who will play Dorothy? Herein, everything you need to know about Wicked: For Good. Who's returning in the cast of Wicked: For Good? The main ensemble—Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West; Ariana Grande as Glinda the Good; Jonathan Bailey as Prince Fiyero; Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible; Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard; Ethan Slater as Boq; and Marissa Bode as Nessarose—will all return. Their stories are far from finished and there might be a couple of character changes along the way. And, an addition! Dorothy Gale, of the original Technicolor Wizard of Oz, might appear in some capacity. Eagle-eyed viewers will have spied her anonymous cameo at the beginning of Part One, and fans speculate she will be in For Good. But who will play her? It's tightly under wraps, though internet sleuths theorize that 15-year-old Irish actress Alisha Weir will be slipping on Dorothy's silver slippers. Weir played Matilda in Matilda the Musical (2022), and appeared at Wicked: Part One's UK premiere wearing a pair of silver ballet flats. Hmm… What's the plot of Wicked: For Good? 'What's nice about movie two is it's so different from movie one that it doesn't feel like we're talking about what you just saw. It's the new chapter,' said Jon M. Chu in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. The second act will follow the same story as the original Broadway version. Picking up where we left off in Part One, Elphaba and Glinda have parted ways: While Elphaba is in hiding, declared an enemy of the state of Oz, Glinda becomes a mouthpiece for the government, in the grips of the Wizard and Madame Morrible. Meanwhile, Fiyero, Glinda, and Elphaba's love triangle persists, and Nessarose and Boq's relationship hits the rocks. The trailer promises endless action, music and romance. What about the music in Wicked: For Good? For Good's soundtrack will be similar to the Broadway original's Act Two. Tracks like the titular 'For Good,' the dramatic 'No Good Deed,' and power ballad 'As Long as You're Mine' will be making an appearance. What's more? There are two new songs, written by composer Stephen Schwartz and performed by Erivo and Grande individually. 'They were necessary in this movie to help tell the story,' said Chu. When will Wicked: For Good be released? November 21! So until then, hold space for a comically long press tour, more method dressing, and tears-a-plenty. Where can I watch the trailer for Wicked: For Good? Right here!
