Emmerdale spoilers tease unlikely character 'exposes' John as he 'kills again'

Daily Mirror12 hours ago
Emmerdale spoilers have teased some major twists and turns from killer John Sugden potentially being rumbled by a surprising character, to Nate Robinson's family being given shocking news
More than one character could be onto Emmerdale killer John Sugden next week, as spoilers tease an unlikely person could rumble the truth.
It comes as Nate Robinson's 'real killer' is unmasked, when the police deliver some shocking news. His family learn who 'really' killed him, but it isn't John who gets named by detectives or who even confesses to the crime.

There's big twists ahead and it could lead to the downfall of John who sets a plan in motion. While it kicks off perfectly a couple of errors could unravel the whole thing, and see him exposed for two murders.

More is to be revealed, by spoilers detail some big twists in the fallout to John orchestrating framing newcomer Owen for Nate's death. John accidentally killed Nate in September and dumped his body in the lake, with it only discovered weeks ago.
Amid his family coming to terms with his death and people being blamed, Owen, who was recently seen drugging Robert Sugden before trying to flee with him, makes a return to the village. Robert's brother John turned him away then and saved Robert, and in upcoming scenes he's shown kicking him out of the doctors surgery.
Emmerdale's John Middleton joins Hollyoaks to play show's 'most evil character ever'

But it seems upcoming scenes will show him setting up Owen, claiming he has confessed to Nate's murder. This is delved into next week when detectives reveal they have a confession and even a motive, or a story of what happened between Owen and Nate.
In a dark twist though Owen is dead, with him believed to have taken his own life. Liam Cavanagh heads to the patient's address and is concerned by a lack of response, with the police soon arriving and finding him dead.
When a detective finds a 'suicide note' on his laptop with a written confession to killing Nate, John's plan seems to be working. So Has he struck again and killed Owen, before pinning Nate's murder on him? More importantly, will the story be bought?

When Nate's dad Cain Dingle and wife Tracy Robinson are told the news they are struggling to process the information. John then acts shocked about the ongoing events, and when Robert finds out he's left shaken especially given what happened with Owen just weeks ago.
But all this does is raise his suspicions over John given the coincidence that Owen is apparently involved. He decides to investigate, especially when he learns John has been at Owen's house right before he died.

Robert sets up a meeting with Owen's brother Steve, and is left reeling to uncover Owen 'can't have killed Nate' as he had a tight alibi for the day he was killed. Robert heads to the police station, claiming to have new information about Nate's murder - but what will he reveal and will John be exposed?
It might not be Robert who exposes his killer brother though, as Paddy Kirk could be about to rumble the truth in a surprising twist. We know that John has been struggling with what he did to Nate and has turned to a helpline numerous times.
He's gotten close to spilling the beans and it's been teased that he may break, and may give away what he's done. This continues next week when he once again makes contact, but it seems he's been messaging them and not actually speaking on the phone.

Next week, his volunteer suggests a call rather than a message, which would give away his voice. So when it's revealed next week that Paddy is volunteering on a crisis helpline, surely this could be a major hint that he is the volunteer John is messaging, and if yes then surely it's only a matter of time before Paddy hears John's voice and realises what's going on.
As for Robert next week, he's still causing drama as he continues to plot behind Moira Dingle's back after convincing her to sell him the farm - while in cahoots with Kim Tate. With Robert then planning to sign over to Kim, he's stopped in his tracks by her desperation and senses she is hiding something.

Kim tells Joe Tate no one can find out their plans, so Robert does some digging to see what she's after the land but soon Kim flees to Dubai. With it left in Joe's hands, who goes to see Moira and reiterates Kim's offer to buy the farm.
Moira has a difficult decision to make but what will she do and what is Kim up to? Elsewhere next week, Marlon Dingle is gutted when daughter April Windsor refuses to return to college and there's drama for Mack Boyd and Charity Dingle.
When Mack finds out his wife has offered to be her granddaughter Sarah's surrogate without even telling him he's aghast, and it leads to an explosive argument. It's Eric Pollard who's told Mack all, leaving his grandson Jacob Gallagher furious.
Soon Eric tells him and Sarah he's worried about her shortened life expectancy, and that's why he's sabotaging things. Mack and Charity can't come to an agreement meanwhile, and soon he gives her an ultimatum: it's the surrogacy or their marriage. So will the pair split for good?

An amazing John Wick video game you've never heard of will be delisted this week

One of the best turn-based tactics games of all-time, that also happens to be a John Wick tie-in, is going to be removed from sale on Thursday. If this was the 90s you would've been drowning in John Wick video games by this point. They all would've been 2D action platformers, and probably not very good, but in the old days any movie with even a hint of action invariably got turned into a video game tie-in. Those days are long gone and movie tie-ins are relatively rare now, especially ones based on specific films and not the universe in general. The licence to make them is often too expensive and by the time the game is finished the movie risks being old news. Even so, it does seem bizarre that there have only ever been two John Wick games, one of which is a very brief VR 'experience', and the other of which you'll no longer be able to buy after this week. Apart from a pinball game and the aforementioned VR title, called John Wick Chronicles, the only hint at a big budget tie-in was back in 2022, but nothing's been heard of that since. So that means that the only proper video game ever released for the franchise is 2019's John Wick Hex. It wasn't well promoted and only had middling reviews, but we loved it. Not because we particularly like John Wick but because it's a highly original turn-based tactics game, where you have very fine control over John's movements and actions, carefully choreographing his attacks and dodges like a sort of slow-motion action game. We discussed it at length in an interview with creator Mike Bithell, back in 2019, who discussed what it was like to work with Hollywood producers, something he's become quite adapt at given his most recent game is Tron: Catalyst. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. Although we love the game, the fact that it wasn't an action title and had very ugly graphics, with no involvement from Keanu Reeves, led to it being almost entirely ignored – despite the fact that it's only £16. It was eventually released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC but will be delisted this week, on Thursday, July 17 on all online stores. That's presumably because the movie licence has run out, which is something that often happens and means that other high quality games, like Activision's two War For Cyberton Transformers games, are no longer available to buy. It's also why racing games, like Forza Horizon 4, always get delisted after a few years. If you already own the game as a digital download then you'll still be free to download it whenever you want, but if you don't own it by Thursday then you'll never be able to. More Trending 'After July 17th, 2025, existing owners of John Wick Hex will still be able to access the game via their digital libraries (PC/console) and/or physical copies (console), however new purchases of John Wick Hex will not be possible, regardless of platform or storefront,' confirms publisher Big Fan Games. After that your only option is to buy someone's console or Steam account that has it, but no one's likely to go to that much effort for John Wick Hex. They did for the P.T. demo though, for what would've become Silent Hills, but then Konami went the extra step of completely erasing the demo, so that it can't even be re-downloaded. That's made consoles with it on the hard drive something of a collector's edition – we just checked and there's currently one on eBay going for over £700. John Torode's rocky love life from speedy divorce to 'cowardly' Lisa Faulkner letter

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner have one of the strongest marriages in showbiz. The MasterChef presenter has stood strong by his wife as she made her own allegation against Gregg Wallace The hit TV show he presents might be in complete chaos, but one thing that John Torode can count on is his loyal wife's support. The TV chef has found himself embroiled in the scandal engulfing his shamed MasterChef co-star Gregg Wallace, who has been sacked by the BBC after multiple allegations of misconduct were upheld following a seven-month investigation. ‌ Now Torode has confirmed he is the subject of an allegation of using racist language, which came out during the review into Wallace's conduct on the programme. On Instagram, the presenter confirmed he is the accused individual in the report but professed "no recollection of the incident" and expressed being "shocked and saddened". ‌ Questions remain over the future of the show as Wallace's behaviour has rocked the industry, after nearly 20 years of presenting with Torode. Away from the scandal hitting the much-loved series, John has one of the strongest marriages in showbiz - but it wasn't always plain sailing. John, 59, is married to actress Lisa Faulkner, 53, with the couple presenting John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen on ITV. While John has remained mostly tight-lipped on his former co-star Wallace's behaviour on-set, his wife has spoken out about what she witnessed on the show. Last December, she claimed that the presenter made 'rude joke after rude joke' during her time on MasterChef. ‌ Wallace was said to be deeply upset that John and Lisa didn't support him when allegations first surfaced, and has since unfollowed the couple on Instagram. But John and Lisa's bond doesn't appear to have been shaken by the disaster unfolding behind the scenes of MasterChef, as they focus on their own joint television project which recently launched its tenth series. Both of them have been married before; Lisa to Chris Coghill, who played Tony King in EastEnders. They share adopted daughter, Billie. John was previously married to a woman called Jessica and they have a son and daughter together. John and Lisa, 52, met when she was a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, first becoming firm friends before love blossomed. John and Jessica separated in 2011 but they didn't initially divorce until 2014, when their union was reportedly dissolved in a matter of seconds at the High Court. ‌ While John and Lisa hit it off immediately, remaining friends after filming, Lisa insists there was nothing romantic between them at first. "He was a judge on a show I loved and I was petrified of him. He was brilliant and gave us all tips so you didn't want to let him down," she said. "All I could think was, 'That sauce hasn't worked'. I didn't see anything but food for three months. After I won, we did The Good Food Show and stuff. John and I always got on, but I never thought about me and him." ‌ Revealing how they eventually got together, Lisa told the Daily Mail in 2013 that everything changed after John wrote her a letter and asked her out to dinner. "John and I were friends. Neither of us thought of it as anything else until..." she said. "I don't know how things change, but something does. He asked me on a date. We went out for dinner. Then it was slightly different. I'm really, really happy. John and I are having such a nice time but we're taking things slowly. There are lots of other people to consider." John has since confessed that his letter for Lisa was 'cowardly' but it meant that there would be no awkwardness for him if she didn't want to date him. ‌ He told the Daily Mail:"I'd separated from my wife [Jessica] which was awful, and I was reluctant to approach Lisa face to face as I didn't fancy the prospect of her saying no, so I wrote her a letter. If I'd got no response, it wouldn't matter. Cowardly? S***, yeah. I'm as cowardly as they get." But things worked out in his favour and they began dating. The couple tied the knot in October 2019 and previously shared the secret to a happy marriage, insisting that it is a properly made bed. ‌ Asked what makes their marriage work, John, 57, said: "A really well-made bed. You spend lots of time in it! Honestly, the bedroom – having that sanctuary of a place to go to, I think that's really important. And nice towels... Looking after yourself is as important as looking after each other." Although it probably helps that the pair have undeniable chemistry - as Lisa said in an interview: "We really like and fancy each other!" And Lisa previously shared how proud she is of her husband, who last year accepted his MBE from the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, before celebrating with a fancy meal. ‌ "I was really proud of John," she told OK Magazine. "It's an amazing achievement and the fact he got to meet Prince William! Out of everybody in the royal family, that's who I'd have liked to have met!" And earlier this month, John gave rare insight into the "changes" that have happened in their relationship after six years of marriage. Opening up in a joint interview to The Herald Magazine, the couple were asked how their dynamic has "evolved over the years". John revealed: "Lisa and I learn from each other all the time. As we have been cooking and working together for many years, I am sure things have changed, but as it's been a constant and consistent journey, it's not something that we feel is noticeable. "What is evident is that we love cooking, food and travel as much as, if not more than, we did when we first met," he added. Lisa then chipped in to say: "We're always learning from each other […] We often do things differently, so I know I'm always learning something new from John, and I'm sure he would say the same."

Hollyoaks star admits 'I was embarrassed' as they discuss 'painful' botched lip filler

This Morning launched an investigation into 'cosmetic cowboys' who are putting people's health at risk by carrying out non-surgical cosmetic procedures without proper training This Morning has initiated a probe into the worrying trend of 'cosmetic cowboys', uncovering that 50% of women who have had non-surgical beauty treatments ended up seeking medical help. The ITV morning programme highlighted these alarming statistics this week, aiming to alert viewers about the increasing number of unqualified practitioners in the booming aesthetics sector and advising them on what to watch out for when considering such procedures. ‌ In a dedicated series of episodes, ex-Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn featured on Tuesday's edition of This Morning to share her own unfortunate experience with botched lip fillers. ‌ Sarah, 43, known for her portrayal of Mandy Richardson on the popular Channel 4 drama from 1996 to 2021, presented a photo of the aftermath of her flawed procedure and confessed 'I knew something wasn't right'. The star recounted: "Mine was lip filler, I worked in a beauty salon. I had my little boy, I was in between acting jobs, and my little boy was around I think six to seven months old", reports the Mirror. She continued, detailing the circumstances: "A practitioner came in to do injectables, had nobody booked in and offered me and the girls in the clinic: 'Does anyone want a treatment?' Naively, probably I was in quite a vulnerable place having just had a child. "You don't really feel like yourself, you want a little bit of a glow up, so I was like: 'Yeah, great, this guy obviously knows what he's doing!'". Reflecting on the incident, Sarah added: "Now, looking back, you know there was no pre consultation, no patch test, there was nothing. I didn't fill in any forms. ‌ "I had the treatment done and immediately when having the treatment done I knew that something wasn't right. It was painful, it was uncomfortable, I could feel sort of the filler going in. I could feel that something wasn't right." A photo of the botched lip filler then appeared on-screen, prompting Sarah to explain: "That was me immediately after so I sent the pictures to a doctor that I'd been to previously. The thing is, I'd had filler before, [but this filler] it was painful, it was bruised, it was lumpy, it was swollen. "I was embarrassed, you feel ashamed, I didn't even tell my husband. Obviously he knew but I went home and I remember sitting having dinner sort of feeling really uncomfortable. I didn't tell my parents and it wasn't until I had corrective treatment. "I ended up having filler dissolved and having it redone by a doctor", she added, highlighting the difficulty for those unaware of what to look out for: "If you don't know what to look for, where do you even start."
