BTS' J-Hope gets stopped by the Taipei police following his concert; looks concerned and shocked by the sudden trouble
BTS's
J-Hope
had a dazzling concert night in Taipei, Taiwan, where the fans cheered and grooved to his beats as part of the 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' tour. However, as the 31-year-old was heading to his hotel, something unexpected happened that startled him as well as his fans.
The K-pop singer, who was live on Weverse, addressing his fans, was in his car. However, the driver was abruptly stopped by the Taipei police, who asked him to pull over the vehicle.
Why was J-Hope stopped by the Taipei police?
During the live stream, J-Hope was seen visibly confused about the sudden incident, and tried to understand the conversation. Well, he did not understand much as they were speaking the local language.
According to the translation by Koreaboo, the driver said, 'He's a celebrity.'
The police cross-questioned by asking whether he was a customer, the driver stated firmly that he was a celebrity. The police responded by saying, 'Celebrity? Ok. You can go.'
Following the conversation, J-Hope asked what that was all about, to which the driver said that it was a routine DUI checkpoint. The singer replied, "Oh, checking for DUIs? They do that here, too? That's cool."
The adorable moments between J-Hope and fans on the live stream
When J-Hope was live streaming, he talked about the concert and how he would like to visit Taipei again for leisure.
'The hotel is far, so I thought why not go live in this duration. I could come to Taipei just for travelling, there's so much delicious food,' he stated, according to the translation by @BTStranslation_.
Furthermore, the 'Mona Lisa' singer addressed the fans who were concerned about his knee and assured them they don't have to worry, as he is taking good care of himself. Additionally, when fans said that they missed his dog Mickey, he replied, 'Mickey needs to be healthy, but he is not very healthy these days... be healthy, Mickey!! Let's live long!!"

‘Tuk Tuk' makes big impact; takes OTT by storm with massive viewership
Sometimes, a film doesn't need big stars or massive budgets to leave a lasting impression. Proving this point once again is the small-budget Telugu film Tuk Tuk, which has become an unexpected hit on OTT. Recently released on Amazon Prime Video, the film has quickly climbed the charts and currently holds the No. 3 spot on the platform's trending list, surprising audiences and industry insiders alike. According to reports, Tuk Tuk has already crossed 100 million views—a remarkable feat for an indie project. What makes this achievement even more impressive is the film's lack of a star-studded cast or flashy production values. Instead, it relies on a heartfelt story, natural performances, and a director's unique vision to win over viewers. Directed by a debut filmmaker, Tuk Tuk blends drama and humour seamlessly, creating a screenplay that is both engaging and emotionally resonant. The film's strength lies in its simplicity and the honesty in storytelling. Every element—from direction and acting to music and narrative—works in harmony to make the film stand out. The actors, many of whom are newcomers, have received widespread recognition for their authentic performances. In particular, some of the younger cast members have become social media sensations, thanks to their dialogue delivery and screen presence. Tuk Tuk is yet another reminder that content is king. Its success proves that honest filmmaking backed by a compelling narrative can find its audience, regardless of budget or star power. The film has not only brought well-deserved attention to its cast and crew but also lit a beacon of hope for aspiring filmmakers and actors in the Telugu industry. If you haven't watched Tuk Tuk yet, it's streaming now on Amazon Prime Video—a must-watch underdog story.
