Prince William & Kate Middleton Welcome New Addition to Their Family After Reports of a ‘4th Child'

Yahoo27-05-2025

It's hard to tell where Prince William and Kate Middleton stand these days, because it seems like every day brings a new report that sometimes differs wildly from the previous one. First, there were divorce rumors, and the news that William had hired the same lawyers who represented Prince Diana in her divorce. Then they seemed to dispel those by going away on a romantic trip to Scotland for their anniversary. And later, there were reports Kate was trying to bring about a reconciliation between her husband and Prince Harry, something he wasn't all that thrilled about.
Suffice it to say, the British Royal family continues to give people something to talk about and speculate about every day. King Charles has cancer and is reportedly not doing well. Prince Harry is giving interviews about how he wants a reconciliation with his father. Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship is also strained. Succession plans are reportedly already underway.

However, the rumors about Prince William and Kate Middleton, as persistent as they are, all appear to be nothing more than that: rumors. The couple is apparently doing well enough to welcome new additions to their family, in the form of new dogs they've adopted.
Yes and no. According to The Sun, the couple's black cocker spaniel Orla gave birth to several healthy puppies a few weeks ago, with a source telling the publication that both the family's dog and her pups are 'doing well,' and Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are hoping to keep the puppies. So the couple didn't adopt new dogs, but they do have new dogs. 'Everyone loves a new royal baby news and so new royal puppies run very close,' the source added.
Orla was a gift to Middleton from her brother, James, back in 2020. The dog has made a few cameos on the couple's social media account, including with Princess Charlotte in her seventh birthday portrait and with Middleton in the video where she announced she had completed chemotherapy.
The couple had previously sparked speculation they'd gotten a new dog last month, when fans spotted two dogs in the couple's video for Mother's Day in the UK. However, back then, The Daily Mail confirmed that the brown dog was one of James's. So false alarm then turns into reality now.
Does this mean the couple would be open to continuing to add to the family, in the form of a fourth child? Unlikely. Tom Quinn, the author of Yes Ma'am: Upstairs Downstairs in the British Royal Family , joked in an interview with Fox News in March 2025 that the two weren't planning on having another baby soon because the Princess of Wales views her husband as her 'fourth' child.
'And so, there's a joke among the staff that Kate treats William as the fourth because he occasionally behaves like one,' Quinn said then. The claim was confirmed by an anonymous royal staff member.
'She hasn't had everything done for her throughout her life, so she calms him down when he gets a bit fractious,' the report said, with the employee adding that they 'don't know' where William would be without his wife. 'She says he sometimes has to be treated as her fourth child!'
So, it looks like now the Prince and Princess of Wales are happy with the new canine additions to the family. As for the future, one never knows.

Bruno Mars Beats One Of His Biggest Smashes With A Timeless Duet

Bruno Mars claims two hit songs in the United Kingdom this week, despite not having anything brand new to promote. He's not actively pushing any singles, but two of his releases that originally dropped in 2024 are proving to be among his most successful career wins – ones that the British public is far from tired of hearing. 'Die With a Smile,' his collaboration with Lady Gaga, and 'Apt.,' recorded with Blackpink singer Rosé, are not only still present on the Official Singles chart, they manage to climb, and one of them now ranks among his longest-running successes in the country to date. 'Die With a Smile' returns to the top 40 on the Official Singles chart, the ranking of the most consumed songs in the U.K. This frame marks the track's forty-first stay on the tally. As it adds one more week to its total, the duet with Gaga advances in Mars's discography. With 41 weeks spent on the Official Singles chart, 'Die With a Smile' is now the singer's third-longest-charting tune in the country. Just last frame, it was tied with 'When I Was Your Man' at 40 frames each, but now that ranking has shifted, and the piano ballad has been pushed to fourth place. 'Die With a Smile' still has a long way to go before matching Mars's two longest-charting tracks. 'Uptown Funk,' his smash with Mark Ronson, spent 76 weeks on the tally, while 'Just the Way You Are,' one of his earliest hits, racked up 66. It seems likely that 'Die With a Smile' will continue to chart for a while — perhaps several more months — but whether it will be able to match those two generation-defining singles won't be known for some time. 'Apt.' appears even higher than 'Die With a Smile' on the main songs ranking, which makes sense since it hasn't been charting for quite as long in the U.K. His Rosé collaboration has now spent 32 weeks on the Official Singles chart. With that total, the English/Korean tune is now tied as Mars's tenth-longest-running win in the U.K. It's currently matched with his own 'Billionaire,' and next week it will likely tie '24K Magic.'

Halle Berry takes on commenters ‘in their feelings' about her sexy Mother's Day post

Halle Berry has a message for those critical of her steamy Mother's Day post. Berry shared a video on Instagram in honor of the May holiday and used it as an opportunity to promote her Let's Spin intimacy gel, along with her boyfriend, musician Van Hunt. 'I'm going to tell you how my Mother's Day is going to end,' Berry said in the video with Hunt last month, adding that they were in Cannes and had some of her new product that they were about to…take for a spin. 'Happy Mother's Day once again, everybody,' she said. 'I hope all of you are somewhere spinning.' 'Oh my God. I ain't never been so happy to have Mother's Day come to an end,' Hunt joked. The post drew some criticism, which Berry was asked about by Jenna Bush Hager as she co-hosted an hour of 'Today' this week. 'Other women got in their feelings,' Berry said. 'They were saying, 'Should she be talking about that on Mother's Day? Shouldn't she be with her kids somewhere?,'' Berry added. 'First of all, it's not 'Kid's Day.' It's called Mother's Day. It's Kid's Day every day of the year. That's my day. If I want to be in bed and spin with my man, then that's what I'm going to do.' Berry is the mother of two children from former relationships: daughter Nahla, 17, with model Gabriel Aubry, and son Maceo, 11, with actor Olivier Martinez.

King Charles and Prince Harry at point of ‘no turning back' as monarch shuts door on reconciliation: report

King Charles' bitter rift with Prince Harry has now reached a breaking point — and a royal reconciliation may no longer be possible, The Post understands. The monarch, 76, has kept a stoic silence on top of a 5,459-mile-long distance from his estranged youngest son following his and wife Meghan Markle's decision to quit royal life in 2020. Relations between the father-son duo have become so fractured, that palace insiders no longer believe that a reconciliation is in the cards for the feuding royals. 4 King Charles' bitter rift with Prince Harry has now reached a breaking point, The Post understands. Samir Hussein/WireImage 'There is no turning back,' royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News. 'King Charles remains tender towards his son but can't risk communication. Prince William now has absolutely no interest in mending fences.' Fordwich added that the king's inner circle says he 'shouldn't' make peace with his son 'in a way that would burden Prince William's future reign.' 'The animosity is so deep that William has shut the door on Harry. Charles is not willing to go against his heir's wishes,' she added. Indeed, trust — or lack thereof — remains at the heart of the rift. An palace insider told The Post that the king 'simply doesn't trust Harry' — citing the Duke of Sussex's explosive BBC interview, which is said to have shattered what little trust remained between them. 4 The monarch, 76, has been estranged from the Sussexes ever since they quit royal life in 2020. It comes after insiders told People that the cancer-stricken king is hesitant to mend bridges with the Invictus Games founder, 40. 'The king and William don't trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation,' royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told People, adding that 'the underlying issue is trust.' 'It wasn't meant to be an attack, but it would be seen as one. It makes Charles reaching out even harder,' royal author Valentine Low told the outlet. What's more, sources added that Harry's estranged brother and future king, Prince William, has no interest in extending an olive branch. 'There is not a good angel in his ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move,'' Low told the outlet. 4 Palace insiders no longer believe that a reconciliation is on the cards for the feuding royals. AFP via Getty Images In the midst of it all, palace insiders say Queen Camilla is doing her best to 'stay out' of the drama. Last month, a royal commentator weighed in on the discourse, saying the duke needed to keep a 'dignified silence' if he ever wanted a chance at a reconciliation with his estranged family members.
