Emma Stone Recalls Working With Ex Andrew Garfield: ‘I Only Have Fond Memories'

Emma Stone talked about the highs and lows of working on The Amazing Spider-Man films in the early 2010s.
Emma Stone is looking back on the time when she portrayed Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man films. The two-time Oscar-winning actress fondly recalled the highs and lows of working in the short-lived Marvel superhero franchise, which also starred her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. She revealed that working on the films was a 'really special time" in her life.
The 36-year-old was going over her most iconic looks from over the years when she was shown a photo of herself wearing a yellow dress at the 2014 London premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. After talking about her Versace gown, Emma told Vogue, 'I really loved doing Spider-Man. I loved everybody I worked with."
The actress recalled meeting some amazing actors while working on the Spider-Man films, including her ex, whom she dated for nearly four years between 2011 and 2015. 'I met Andrew (Garfield) there. I met Sally Field. Marc Webb was wonderful. It was a really special time in my life. That's a recurring theme: The people, more than the film itself, is what sticks with me for so long. I only have fond memories of this experience," she further added.
Emma Stone Recalls 'Psychotic' Press Tour For The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Despite the highs of starring in the superhero film series, Emma pointed out that she won't be missing one thing, and that is the rigorous press tour. She mentioned, 'I will say the press tours for these films — I don't really know how people do it." Recalling the tiring schedule, the La La Land actress explained, 'I remember it being nine countries in maybe two weeks, and you're functioning in a state of jet lag never previously known to you. I felt truly psychotic the entire time."
Emma Stone debuted as Gwen Stacy, the love interest of Andrew Garfield's character Peter Parker, in 2012 with the film The Amazing Spider-Man. Directed by Marc Webb, the film was the reboot of the original Spider-Man trilogy led by Toby Maguire. Following mixed reviews from the audience, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man films ended after the second movie and a new franchise of the superhero was brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Tom Holland suiting up as the iconic web-slinger.
What's Next For Emma Stone?
The 36-year-old actor-producer was most recently seen in the film Eddington. Directed by Ari Aster, the action comedy film tells the story of the COVID-19 pandemic era and the political and social turmoil that followed when a sheriff and a mayor contest for the mayoral election. Besides Emma, the film also features Pedro Pascal, Joaquin Phoenix, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell and Michael Ward, among others.
As of now, Emma is gearing up for the release of the sci-fi black comedy Bugonia. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the film is a remake of the 2003 Korean film Save the Green Planet! Bugonia, featuring Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone, will be released theatrically on October 24.

His work stretched across six decades and touched audiences all over the world. His family confirmed the news to The New York Times, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. From London boyhood to movie stardom With striking looks and a career that stretched across six decades, Terence Stamp left a lasting impression on both British and Hollywood cinema. He later stunned audiences with his chilling performance in William Wyler's 'The Collector' (1965), which won him Best Actor at Cannes. A face of 1960s glamour As reported by ANI, away from the superhero world, Stamp was known as one of Britain's most glamorous stars. His striking good looks and sharp fashion sense made him a true symbol of style. He and actress Julie Christie formed one of the most iconic couples of the 1960s when they starred together in 'Far From the Madding Crowd' (1967). Stamp also had a high-profile romance with supermodel Jean Shrimpton, and his image was captured time and again by legendary photographer David Bailey. Together, they helped define the swinging look and attitude of the decade. Bold roles showed his versatility Stamp's career was never tied to one type of role. He was unafraid to take risks and proved his versatility across genres and decades. In Steven Soderbergh's 'The Limey' (1999), he played a corrupt English crook, delivering a performance that critics and fans still remember as raw and powerful. That same year, he was recognised for his part as Chancellor Valorum in 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace' (1999), showing his ability to slip into blockbuster roles with ease. One of his boldest and most challenging performances came in 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' (1994), where he won hearts as Bernadette, a transgender woman. The role highlighted Stamp's courage in choosing complex, layered characters. Collaborations with great directors Born in London in 1938, Stamp's journey from a tugboat captain's son to an international star was extraordinary. Along the way, he collaborated with some of cinema's finest directors, including Pier Paolo Pasolini, Ken Loach and Edgar Wright. He even once shared an early home with fellow actor Michael Caine, though the two never appeared in a film together. Their parallel rise in British cinema made for one of the most fascinating stories of that era. Later years kept him in the spotlight Even as the decades passed, Stamp continued to appear in major films, proving his staying power in the industry. He played roles in 'Valkyrie' (2008), 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' (2016), and Edgar Wright's stylish thriller 'Last Night in Soho' (2021). Each role showed that his screen presence had never faded, and he remained a compelling actor well into his later years. Writing added to his creative journey Beyond acting, Stamp was also a writer. He published several memoirs and books, including 'Stamp Album' and 'Rare Stamps: Reflections on Living, Breathing and Acting'. These works gave fans a glimpse into his personal reflections and creative journey, adding another layer to his already remarkable career. 'She sells her soul to the devil': Tom Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bündchen accused of promoting satanic worship

Gisele Bündchen's Vogue cover in March 2023 sparked a social media frenzy (Getty Images) When Gisele Bündchen appeared on an Italian Vogue cover in March 2023, the photograph immediately ignited a storm of social media reaction — not for fashion praise, but for conspiracy chatter. What began as a striking editorial image quickly ballooned into accusations and viral comparisons that linked the pose to occult imagery, turning a routine magazine moment into a short-lived culture war. How Gisele Bündchen's Vogue cover sparked conspiracy chatter The image, shot by Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti, showed Gisele Bündchen in a stylized, dramatic pose that some viewers compared to historical depictions of Baphomet. Online users pointed to hand gestures, wardrobe choices and color palettes as 'evidence,' and within hours the post that circulated on Twitter and other platforms was filled with speculation. A handful of commentators even dove into etymology and symbolism — linking her name and the photograph to more sensational claims — which amplified the controversy beyond any editorial intent. Why the backlash didn't derail Gisele Bündchen's career Two things stopped the story from sticking. First, there was no credible evidence tying Bündchen to anything beyond a fashion shoot; the claims were conjecture dressed up as proof. Second, the episode came amid intense public interest in her personal life following her high-profile split from Tom Brady, which primed audiences to read extra meaning into ordinary moments. Bündchen remained publicly silent, a common choice for established figures facing internet storms — and continued to book campaigns and covers, demonstrating the resilience of a long-standing career. Looking back, the Vogue kerfuffle is a textbook example of how images travel differently in the social media age: editorial art can be reframed into controversy within hours. As a throwback, it's a reminder that viral outrage often tells us more about the platform dynamics and cultural moment than about the subject herself.
