One fan raved on X (formerly Twitter): 'For me, #Superman is not only the best Superman movie, but it's likely the best comic book movie in the post-COVID era.
'It's fun, flashy and, well, super. Corenswet is a chatty, charismatic Supes. A great time - I look forward to the future of DC Studios under Gunn and Safran.'

Another moviegoer added one supporting character comes out of nowhere: 'I can't say much more until I post my official review, but oh my god Mister Terrific (played by Edi Gathegi) is an absolute scene stealer in #Superman.

Another post raved: 'James Gunn's SUPERMAN is the comic book movie I've been waiting to see for decades.

And a final fan declared: '#Superman is a comic come to life in ways I never knew were possible and beaming with so much heart that I couldn't help but love it!

'A beautiful story that balances many elements really well with a perfect cast and the most creative action possible.

'It's the genre at its best and EASILY my fav Superman film, I still haven't stopped smiling.'

Duke and Duchess of Westminster announced birth of daughter

Billionaire aristocrat Hugh Grosvenor, a former Ellesmere College pupil and his wife Olivia, who married last year, have welcomed a baby girl born in London on Sunday, named Cosima Florence Grosvenor. 'The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are thrilled to announce the birth of their baby daughter,' a spokesman for the couple said. 'Both the duchess and Cosima are doing well. 'The duke and duchess now look forward to spending this special time together as a family.' The duke, one of the UK's biggest landowners, is a close friend of both the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex, and godfather to Prince George and also reportedly to Prince Archie. William acted as an usher at his wedding in Chester Cathedral in June last year but Harry mutually agreed with the groom he would not attend amid his long-running rift with his brother. Hugh, once considered one of the country's most eligible bachelors, became an instant billionaire when he inherited his title and control of the historic Grosvenor Estate aged 25, following the death of his father from a heart attack in 2016. His property company, Grosvenor Group, owns hundreds of acres of land in Mayfair and Belgravia, as well as major city centre developments such as Liverpool's One shopping centre. He also owns the Eaton Estate in Chester. In 2020, the duke donated £12.5 million to the UK's Covid-19 relief effort including funds for NHS Charities Together and for medical research and development.

Donald Trump 'caught cheating' at his Scottish resort as caddie moves ball for him

A video has emerged from Donald Trump's golf course in Scotland appearing to show a caddie dropping a ball for the US President on the fairway as he played a shot Donald Trump has found himself embroiled in another golfing scandal after footage emerged seemingly showing a caddie dropping a ball for him during a round in Scotland. ‌ While on a European trip and visiting his golf resorts, the US President was caught on camera playing at Turnberry when it appeared one of his caddies may have overstepped the mark to help him. ‌ The video, shot from within a nearby building, captures Trump arriving by golf cart on the left side of the fairway. With a bunker and some light fescue between him and the green, as he stopped, two caddies walked past – with one seemingly pausing to place a ball in front of Trump. ‌ The 79 year old exited the cart, golf club in hand, and approached the newly positioned ball, seemingly ready to take his next stroke. The clip concludes before he takes the swing. the Express. "Who needs a foot wedge when you have a personal ball dropper? ? ?" joked one user on X, previously known as Twitter. Another user humorously suggested, "Him and Kim Jong Un would be INSANE scramble partners." A self-proclaimed PGA professional chimed in with, "Such a perfect metaphor for our Commander-in-Cheat." Some social media users playfully admired the incident. "Wild... Looks like I need these fellas as Caddies with the way I hit it anymore," one comment read. ‌ This is not the first instance of Trump being accused of bending the rules on the golf links. Is Donald Trump a cheat on the golf course? ‌ Earlier this year, Samuel L. Jackson, the esteemed actor, alleged that Trump had cheated during a game they played together. When queried about who was the better golfer, Jackson confidently stated: "Oh, I am, for sure. I don't cheat." ‌ Trump has since refuted the claims of having played with the 'Pulp Fiction' star, asserting on social media that such a game never took place. Actor Anthony Anderson has echoed similar sentiments. During an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' in 2016, Anderson remarked, "Trump is a great golfer. I'm not going to say Trump cheats. His caddy cheats for him." When pressed for details on whether he witnessed Trump cheating, Anderson affirmed: "Oh yes, several times. Several times." ‌ He recounted an occasion where both he and Trump had poor tee shots. "Trump hit the exact same shot but went 20 yards further left than mine," he explained. "I couldn't find my ball in this trash. Trump's ball had the fluffiest lie in the middle of the fairway." Anderson concluded: "Like I say, I didn't see Trump cheat because he was on the tee-box with me, but his ball was right there in the middle of the fairway." ‌ Sportswriter Rick Reilly has delved into these allegations, asserting in 2019 that Trump frequently manipulated his ball's position and even took credit for others' shots. In an article for The Sunday Times, Reilly revealed that Trump's caddies had even dubbed him "Pele" due to his frequent ball-kicking antics. "To say Donald Trump cheats is like saying Michael Phelps swims," he penned. "Trump doesn't just cheat at golf. He cheats like a three-card monte dealer. "He throws it, boots it and moves it. Whether you're his pharmacist or Tiger Woods, if you're playing golf with him, he's going to cheat."

Love Island fans say they have 'no shame' amid Harry's 'game plan' as he makes savage switch

Love Island fans were adamant they had worked out Harry Cooksley's plans as he was once again involved in a drama filled episode of the ITV2 dating series Love Island fans were quick to point out the "game plan" of Harry Cooksley after yet more drama involving the 30 year old. Despite being coupled up with Helena, Harry has continuously shared cheeky and flirtatious chat with other girls in the villa. ‌ And his ways have caused former partner Shakira's head to be turned despite being in a pair with Conor. And following Friday night's dramatic antics, fans are certain they know what Harry is up to as a dramatic recoupling took place on tonight's show. ‌ There were tears for Harry as he spoke to Helena who promised she could not be friends with him in the villa or on the outside. And he was backed by the boys as he sulked. However, the recoupling led fans to have the same thoughts. With just Helena and Shakira left standing waiting to be picked, Harry said he had "disappointed myself" before saying he knows he's not perfect. ‌ He said he had "chose to ignore" the feelings he had for her as he told Shakira he was either leaving the villa alone or with her. He made his decision, with Shakira hugging him and leaving Helena left standing alone, much to the disappointment of other islanders. After Blu was left to pick Helena, she took his words on board before getting up and quickly walking away from the fire pit. And taking to social media, fans of the show made their feelings known. ‌ One user on Twitter /X said: "Harry knows Shakira is most popular with public his game plan working to a tee." And it was shown in other comments by viewers. "IF THERE IS A VOTE IM VOTING HARRY AND SHAKIRA WITH NO SHAME #LoveIsland," admitted one user. Another added: "Just watch! People will vote for Harry and Shakira," while a third said: "Yessss Harry beautiful speech, you're back in the game. Team Harry and Shakira" On Friday's edition, he was finally exposed to the villa for his actions that had caused drama between the girls for weeks - leading to a split. He had played Shakira and Helena against each other time and time again, and sat back as Helena and Shakira took the triangle drama out on each other. His exclusive pairing with Helena had left Shakira devastated after feeling isolated in recent weeks. ‌ However, just a day after moving their relationship on, Harry was hinting to Dejon how he still liked Shakira. He also hinted he wasn't that into Helena, before appearing to try and pick a fight with her at the Grafties. The awkward scenes playing out in front of the camera saw Helena end things for good. His comments about "loving" his ex Emma and him flirting with others, not to mention his chats with Shakira, all played on the awards ceremony in the vila. And the footballer also made a comment about having a better experience with Shakira than Helena. Helena ended up calling Harry "a f*****g joke". She then told him: "Shakira doesn't want you, I don't want you." With that the other Islanders smirked as Helena appeared to end things.
