
Suresh Raina to debut with Tamil film Production No 1: Chennai's spirit with me

Raina is apparently called Chinna Thala by his fans because of his long-term association with the Indian Premiere League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings. The cricketer turned actor while sharing the video on his X handle wrote, "From cricket fields to Kollywood frames bringing Chennai's spirit with me. Proud to join this new journey with Dream Knight Stories Private Limited."

Indian cricketer and Chennai Super Kings powerhouse Shivam Dube lit the ceremonial lamp, marking the auspicious beginning of the production house. Dube shared his excitement about the launch and extended his heartfelt wishes to the director and producer.D Saravanakumar, the producer of 'Production No 1', earlier served as Production Executive of AGS Entertainment.The launch event also unveiled the stellar technical crew behind the film including composer Santhosh Narayanan, Director of Photography Sandeep K Vijay, production designer Muthuraj, sound designer Resul Pookutty and action choreographer Supreme Sundar.The event saw the presence and heartfelt felicitations from several leading names in Tamil cinema, including director Mohan Raja, editor Mohan, producer PL Thenappan, actor Sathish, director Vijay Milton, director Thirukumaran, and director Bakyaraj Kannan.Raina, when asked about former teamate MS Dhoni possibly joining the cast at the event, said, "He should answer that one!"Director Logan while speaking about the movie said, "It's a dream to begin my debut as a filmmaker with such a talented team and the backing of Dream Knight Stories.
