Medina Alert issued after hit-and-run crash that injured pedestrian in Denver
The auto-pedestrian crash occurred in a Denver neighborhood near Green Valley Ranch.

The Denver Police Department reported the crash on X at about 5:30 p.m., and said the crash occurred at the intersection of East Elmendorf Drive and North Yampa Street.
Denver police said the vehicle involved was a 2023 gray Dodge Challenger with a Colorado license plate number of EPD-U51. The agency did not provide any images of the vehicle as of Wednesday night.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation issues Medina Alert in hit-and-run with serious injuries
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued a Medina Alert in connection with a hit-and-run that left the victim with serious injuries. According to investigators, the crash happened on July 23 just before 11 p.m. at East Colfax Avenue and Emerson Street in Denver. Investigators said the driver of a dark blue 2006 GMC Yukon was involved in a hit-and-run accident where the victim was seriously injured. They are looking for that vehicle with Nevada license plate 1888B0 with faded paint on the hood. Investigators said there also may be damage to the front driver's side of the car. Investigators said that last number on the license plate is a zero. Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information about the crash that occurred is asked to call 911 or the Denver Police Department at 720.913.2000.

‘It was chaos': 4 injured in Saturday night LoDo shooting
DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police are investigating a shooting that injured four people Saturday night in Lower Downtown, just blocks from Coors Field. The shooting happened near the intersection of 20th and Market streets, police said in a 12:22 a.m. post on X. Police originally said three people were injured, but later Sunday afternoon said they located a fourth victim. Police said three of the people injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and one person is in critical condition. A witness told Kerridge that hundreds of people were in the area when the shooting happened. 'I was ordering a hot dog, and next thing that I heard 'pop, pop,' like ten different shots, and I saw three people fall to the ground,' Patrick Dickman told Kerridge. 'It was chaos.' Drunk teen killed groom-to-be in Harlem wrong-way horror after night out at NYC club, new suit alleges
The Long Island teen accused of driving the wrong-way on the Henry Hudson Parkway and killing a man 24 hours before the victim's wedding was allegedly drunk and being chased by an off-duty NYPD cop at the time of the crash. Jimmy Connors had allegedly spent the night drinking at Nebula on West 41st Street, where staff served him alcohol despite him being 'visibly intoxicated' in the hours before the horrific Aug. 24 collision, according to a lawsuit. After Connors, 17, left the club, he allegedly got behind the wheel of a white Chevy Silverado with Ontario plates and crashed into another car — prompting off-duty cop Boubacar Barry, who witnessed the wreck, to pursue him in his personal SUV instead of calling 911, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court filing. 4 Kirk Walker, a Manhattan dad of three, was just one day from marrying his fiancée when he was killed in the head-on crash. Advertisement Both vehicles then barreled south in the northbound lanes of the parkway, where the Silverado slammed head-on into a car driven by Kirk Walker and his cousin, Rob McLaurin, authorities said. Walker, 38, was one day from his wedding when he and McLaurin were killed. Walker and McLaurin had just left the groom-to-be's bachelor party and were driving north near West 154th Street in a Dodge Challenger when the 2:20 a.m. crash occurred, said Walker's fiancée, Shauntea Weaver, who filed the lawsuit this week against Connors, Barry, Nebula, the NYPD and the city.
