Oasis fans invited to send personal stories for Oasis Live '25 Tour film
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is producing the reuniting Britpop legends' documentary, with renowned filmmakers Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace on board to direct - the duo behind LCD Soundsystem's concert film Shut Up And Play The Hits.
Magna Studios - whose credits include Beastie Boys Story, Gangs Of London, 20000 Days On Earth, and Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now - are heading up the production and are asking fans to send in their special memories associated with the Live Forever hitmakers' songs for potential inclusion in the film.
A post on the oasis-film.com website read: "Now, in the year of Oasis' sell out reunion tour, Magna Studios and Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, A Thousand Blows) - in association with Oasis - are making a film exploring how this band's music has become so important to so many.
We are asking people all over the world if there is a particular Oasis song that has deep meaning for you. A song that tells the story of a life changing moment, a love, a loss, a heartbreak, or a break for freedom.
'Whatever the Oasis song, whatever the story – tell us…'
Oasis' UK and Ireland shows - their first in 16 years - will kick off in Cardiff on July 4 and see them joined by special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast.
The Supersonic band will also play USA, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
Meanwhile, frontman Liam Gallagher recently dismissed fan concerns over his vocal health ahead of the long-awaited reunion tour.
The 52-year-old frontman - who has Hashimoto's disease, which can cause a hoarse voice - sparked a frenzy online after posting about taking throat lozenges, sour candies and cough syrup, prompting speculation from fans that his voice might not hold up during his and older brother Noel's upcoming stadium comeback shows this summer.
One fan messaged him on X after his admission: '@liamgallagher If you need that many throat stuff does that mean anytime your voice can still go? We don't want cancellations.'
Liam replied: 'Shut up you melt.'
Another user asked the singer: '@liamgallagher Did you eat all your sour throat candies yesterday?' – to which Liam responded: '@adele_liam I did 2 pacs.'
The Oasis reunion marks the first time the band have performed together since 2009, when they split after a backstage altercation between the siblings at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
Their return to the stage has been one of the most anticipated music events of the decade.
Rehearsals kicked off in London, with Liam joining his bandmates — including his brother Noel, 58 — for rehearsals this week.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "They've seen the speculation, they've heard about the offers and they know what the fans want. "It's ultimately up for them to decide. The Oasis reunion hasn't just been concerts. You can see that it's been a cultural movement. Nothing comes close in recent history to Oasis's shows. "It's a question of whether Noel and Liam want to draw a line in the sand and close the door on this chapter, knowing they capture the zeitgeist. Or do they strike it up again and keep the magic going? It's a difficult decision to make." Meanwhile, Liam hit out at Edinburgh council bosses during the gig at Murrayfield last week after they described attendees at the concerts as "mainly middle-aged men who take up more room" and having a "medium to high intoxication" level during a safety briefing last year. He said: "One second, where do I start here with everyone at the city council? The f****** slags. "£1 billion pounds we're bringing to this city over the next three days.£1 billion. The Pretenders frontwoman attended one of the Britpop legends' Wembley Stadium gigs with old bandmate Johnny Marr, and also bumped into supermodel Kate Moss - who, she says, "missed her calling" as a singer. Updating fans on Instagram , she penned: 'James and I went with @johnnymarrgram to see @oasis the other week. They were great as one would expect.' Praising support act Richard Ashcroft, she said: 'Saw a bunch of old pals in the audience and was dancing with Kate Moss to support act, the excellent voiced @richardashcroftofficial." She continued: 'I always remind Kate that she missed her calling, and could've been a singer. She reminded me that, 'For me, it was either Woolworths or modelling.' Because Kate rarely does interviews (unlike every other celebrity on the planet) people don't know what a riot she is. Oasis singer Liam Gallagher's ex-lover sets record straight about their relationship
Lisa Moorish has called out the "twisted narrative" that has surrounded her relationship with ex-lover Liam Gallagher. The 53-year-old musician had a romance with the Oasis singer in the late 1990s and they had a daughter, Molly Moorish-Gallagher, together. Molly, now 27, was born on 26 March 1998, and Lisa insists she has had to endure false claims about the nature of her relationship with the Some Might Say singer - who was married to actress Patsy Kensit from April 1997 until their divorce in 2000. Appearing on Best's Suddenly Single podcast, Lisa said: "There's a lot of hate I get from the tabloid press specifically ... [They went along] with this sort of twisted narrative of my relationship with my daughter's father back then. "Once the media write about you in a certain way, it sticks. And people tend to just keep going with that. "So it's very frustrating because on one hand, I don't give a damn what anybody thinks about me. It's none of their business. "But it's also frustrating if you're trying to, sort of, release an album or talk about what you're doing in your creative life, and that's something from 28 years ago, and also without the facts." Lisa first met Liam, 52, in 1993, although she was friends with his older brother and Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher first. The former Kill City singer describes Noel, 58, as being like "family" to her and a friend whom she cherishes to this day. She said: "I met Molly's dad in the early '90s, I think it was '93, actually it was Noel who I met first. People are a bit Marmite with Noel. In the public domain with the rock star thing people see what they see and they think what they think, fair enough. He's a friend and he's family to me and he's a very good man. I love him dearly. "Liam was actually dating a friend of mine. Just dating. It wasn't anything that serious. And that's how I met those guys. And I worked with them." Liam and Molly have grown very close in the past several years and the song Now That I've Found You - which features on his 2019 solo album Why Me? Why Not. - is inspired by his daughter and is dedicated to her. Lisa is adamant that she and Liam - who is currently on the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour - get on fine, as they are in each other's lives due to Molly. She said: "I didn't see [Liam] for quite a long time … We've both had different relationships since then, but we don't not get on.' Lisa also has a son, Astile Doherty, with Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, whose friendship she has always valued despite their romantic relationship ending. She said: "I love Pete in so many ways as a friend and someone that was much more in my life and my son's life.' But Lisa insists her days of dating rock stars are definitely over. She explained: "One of my big problems always was that I was a little Florence Nightingale. The rehab for broken boys is now closed for good. Instead of thinking, Liam did this or Pete did that, in the last 10 years I've started to look at who I'm ending up with. You can only change things if you look at yourself. When you have self-esteem issues, you don't make the greatest picks in relationships, and don't realise it's you that needs fixing and sorting out.' Lisa is currently writing a book about her life that will document her hedonistic days in the 1990s. She said: "I've written the first chapter of a book and so it will be said once and once only and that will be that. But it's not about that. There's a whole tapestry of my life."
