Super Bowl 2025 Hits 126 Million Viewers, Most-Watched Ever
That's a 2% improvement from last year's telecast, which was already reported by Nielsen as the largest TV audience it had ever recorded. This year's total accounts for viewers across Fox, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL digital properties as measured by Nielsen, Fox and the NFL, whereas last year's 123.7 million viewers were measured across CBS, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS Sports and the same NFL digital properties.

According to Fox, viewership peaked during the second quarter of the game, with an average of 135.7 million viewers between 8 and 8:15 p.m. ET.
The network says that streaming viewership of the Super Bowl also hit an all-time high with 13.6 million of the total viewers tuning in via Tubi and just under a million using NFL+ or other NFL platforms.
Besides the game itself, the half-time show was a major draw to the telecast. Kendrick Lamar was the headliner, notably performing his Drake diss track 'Not Like Us' — recently named the most decorated song in Grammy history — and bringing out celebrity guests including SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams and Mustard.
The telecast also featured the usual multitude of celebrity-filled ads. On YouTube, the most-watched commercials included a Booking.com ad featuring the Muppets, a Goldilocks-themed Ram Trucks ad led by Glen Powell and an ad for the Google Pixel 9.

We're now in the top 30 in the newest NFL players ranking of the best in the game currently. This is where the list gets extremely hard to make, as there are so many fantastic players in the league, all deserving of respect. But this is why the players get paid the big bucks. Iowa fans most recently saw George Kittle come in at 31st on the ranking, but he wasn't the highest-ranked former Hawkeye on the list. Because that honor belongs to one of the offensive tackles in the entire game. A guy who can play both left and right tackle at an elite level. And a player who just became the highest-paid offensive lineman in the history of the NFL. Tristan Wirfs was named the 28th-best player in the entire league by his fellow players. Wirfs' place on this list is very fair, maybe even a little bit too low. He's a four-time Pro Bowler, two-time First-team All-Pro, and a Super Bowl champion. Oh, and he's only 26 years old. The sky is the limit for Wirfs in terms of what he can do the rest of his career. There's a very good chance he could go down as the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. It's high praise, but he's deserved it with what he's done in the league so far. There's also a good chance that Wirfs ends up being the highest-ranked former Hawk on this list, just beating out Kittle. The rest of the list is still being revealed gradually, so we'll have to wait and see if that's the case. Regardless, it's a great accomplishment for Wirfs and another ledger to add to his resume. It's great to see a former Hawkeye have this much success in the NFL, especially after a stellar career in Iowa City. And it'll be exciting to see what Wirfs can do in 2025. 30 most important Buffalo Bills players of 2025: No. 7 Greg Rousseau
As the Buffalo Bills prepare for the 2025 NFL season, we'll take a look at the most important contributors on their roster. They have a ton of cornerstone players who will be returning for another shot at bringing a Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo, and they'll have help from some new additions as well. Leading up to the season, we will be counting down the top 30 most important players on the roster. We'll recap their 2024 season, look ahead to what they'll offer in 2025, and tackle the most pressing questions surrounding them this coming year. Next up on the countdown is Greg Rousseau. Background Position: Defensive end Age at start of season: 25 Experience: Fifth year 2025 cap hit: $5,877,000 2024 recap Greg Rousseau, although his stats don't measure up to some of the premier pass rushers around the NFL, continues to be an all-round defensive end for the Bills. In 2024, he recorded career-highs in multiple categories, including forced fumbles (3), sacks (8), tackles (53), tackles for loss (16), and QB hits (24). This resulted in a four-year, $80 million extension this offseason, with $54 million guaranteed. He graded as the 12th-best defensive end in the NFL in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus. 2025 outlook Rousseau will again be the leader of the defensive end room and there are a handful of guys coming in to compete for snaps. The Bills brought in veterans Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht, and drafted Landon Jackson in the third round, to join the room with Rosseau and A.J. Epenesa. Rousseau is a big part of the defense's future, which is why he was extended. General manager Brandon Beane will be looking for his big-dollar DE to continue to take strides as he has each year since being drafted in the first round in 2021. Biggest question: Can he reach double-digit sacks? Rousseau is one of the most well-rounded edge defenders in the game, and it has made him the 13th-highest paid player at his position. But, when it comes to getting sacks, he ranked tied-for-27th in 2024 with eight. Rousseau could be mentioned with the top players at his position if he posted more sacks. As far as Week 1 goes, the NFL Insider Mike Garafolo expressed confidence in Brown's availability for that matchup against the Cowboys. "I'm gonna say yes!" Garafolo said, predicting whether Brown would play or not. "Barring some setback, we've been telling you that there hasn't been a great concern about his status for Week 1. Being that the star wide receiver is among the best at his position, he's critical to the Eagles' offensive success. Since he's a proven All-Pro, the Eagles don't need to see much out of Brown in training camp. Their best bet is to keep him off the field if he's not one-hundred percent for now. Brown landed on the Eagles following his 2021 run with the Tennessee Titans. He appeared in 13 games, catching 63 passes for 869 yards and five touchdowns during his final run with the Titans. Once Brown got to the Eagles, he instantly had a career year. In 2022, Brown caught 88 passes for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns in 17 games. During the 2023 NFL season, Brown followed up with 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games. Last season, the Eagles' passing game took a bit of a hit. Struggles and a heavy dose of Saquon Barkley nearly prevented Brown from missing the 1K mark for just the second time in his career. However, he got it in 13 games. With 67 catches, Brown totaled 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns. Being in his prime, Brown remains a critical piece for the Eagles.
