Ranveer Allahbadia deletes post for ‘Pakistani brothers' after massive backlash

Hindustan Times11-05-2025

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has deleted an Instagram post addressed to 'Pakistani brothers and sisters' after massive backlash. The podcast host, also known by his internet moniker BeerBiceps, shared the controversial Instagram post on Saturday where he apologised to Pakistanis if they felt that Indians were spreading hate.
Shared on his Instagram handle @beerbiceps, the post consisted of multiple slides of text wherein Ranveer Allahbadia highlighted three pieces of evidence pointing to Pakistan's involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack. He then blamed the media of the two countries for spreading hate and misinformation.
Allahbadia acknowledged that he would get hate from India for the post right at the outset, but shared it on Instagram anyway. Here is the full text of his now-deleted post.
'Dear Pakistani Brothers & Sisters, I will get hate from many Indians for this, but it is important to be said. Just like many Indians, I don't have hate in my heart for you. Many of us want peace as well.
'Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love. But… your country is not run by a government. It is run by your military and your secret service (The ISI). The average Pakistani is VERY different than these 2 bodies. The average Pakistani has dreams of peace & prosperity in their hearts. These 2 villains have hurt your economy since independence. They have also constantly been responsible for terrorist attacks in India. Proofs in the next slide
'Proof 1: All terrorist that have been caught over the years are originally from Pakistan.
'Proof 2: Your military leaders attended the state funeral held by Hafiz Abdur Rauf, brother of the Jaish-E-Mohammed chief.
'Proof 3: Your defense minister Khawaja Asif recently admitted to the state sponsored terrorism on Sky News. But I care about YOU, not them. That's why...
'Dil se sorry agar lagra hai ki hum nafrat faila rahe hai. The Indian who have met Pakistanis, UNDERSTAND you. But both Indian & Pakistani media (news channels) are currently spreading lies.
'Most of our populations want peace for the innocents near the border. But India also wants to end Pak Military & ISI's state sponsored terrorism. Ek final cheez... This is not : Indian People vs Pakistani People. This is: India vs Pakistani Military & ISI. Hope peace prevails in the long term, Inshallah,' he concluded.
The post caused massive outrage on social media. It has now been taken down, but screenshots are still circulating on social media.
People criticised the podcast host for his 'sympathetic' stance towards Pakistan and called his words an insult to the armed forces of India.
'His immature and callous behavior is unacceptable. He should be reminded that his opinions aren't always needed. Authorities should investigate him and other Mumbai celebrities for,' wrote one X user.
'Shameful. Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps openly supports Pakistanis — then quietly deletes his posts after backlash. This is what happens when we blindly support the wrong influencers and make them viral,' another wrote.

'Rajnath Aam': Newly Developed Mango Variety Named After Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Lucknow: Kalimullah Khan, popularly known as the 'Mango Man' of India, has named a newly developed mango variety after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Grown using his signature grafting technique in his Malihabad orchard, the new variety has been named 'Rajnath Aam'. Mr Khan, who has earlier named mango varieties after several prominent Indian personalities, including Sachin Tendulkar, Aishwarya Rai, Akhilesh Yadav, Sonia Gandhi, Narendra Modi, and Amit Shah, was awarded the Padma Shri for his unique contributions and dedication to horticulture and fruit breeding. Speaking about his latest tribute, Mr Khan told PTI Videos, "I name my mangoes after people who have served the country meaningfully. I want these names to live on for generations. "Sometimes people forget great leaders, but if a mango reminds them of Rajnath Singh's good work, then it's worth it. He is a balanced and thoughtful individual. During a recent discussion about Pakistan, I found that he sincerely desires peace, not war." On the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir that left 26 people dead, Mr Khan blamed Pakistan for initiating aggression. "But today, the atmosphere has improved. Peace, not conflict, is the solution. Problems should be resolved through dialogue. War only escalates hatred and brings harm to all. We are all human, and division only causes more damage," he said. Talking about the Malihabad region in Lucknow, known world over for its mangoes, Mr Khan recalled that there were more than 1,300 mango varieties in the area in 1919, but over time, many have disappeared from the market. "I've been working to preserve and revive them, and today I've developed over 300 varieties," he said. Mr Khan, who began experimenting with crossbreeding mangoes as a child, shared that he only studied up to Class 7. "I was never inclined toward classroom studies. I respected my teachers and classmates, but I kept failing in Classes 4, 5, 6, and even 7. My heart was always in the orchard." Born in 1945, according to official records, Mr Khan said he still feels physically fit, despite having undergone a heart surgery and facing other health issues in his 80s. Among his many creations, he spoke proudly of the "Asl-ul-Muqarrar" variety of mangoes, which he began developing in 1987. He also recalled an encounter with the then-World Bank president, who visited Malihabad. "I told him about a special mango tree that emitted a fragrant aroma, which I believe works like a tonic for the brain. At first, I wondered what I was doing, telling such things to such a high-ranking man. But he came to the orchard, smelled the tree's fragrance, and was amazed. He then instructed officials to allot me five acres of land to expand this work," he said. However, Mr Khan noted with a tinge of disappointment that despite the presence of senior officials from the central and state governments during that visit, no action was ever taken on the land promise. Speaking about his life's mission, Mr Khan said, "I want people to keep enjoying different varieties of mangoes long after I'm gone, especially those who truly love this fruit. Mango is one of the few fruits in the world that can help people stay healthy and has healing powers." He added that he has documented evidence of the mango's medicinal benefits in various places. "Now, we have to see how far the research institutions can take these findings and turn them into real scientific progress." Vir Das ROASTS Donald Trump-Elon Musk Feud: ‘Like Shoving A D**k Into Another...'

Last Updated: Vir Das hilariously slams the Trump-Elon Musk feud with a savage Instagram post. Compares their ego clash to 'shoving a d**k into another d**k.' Read more! In a world where satire often mirrors reality a little too closely, comedian and actor Vir Das has once again brought his scalpel-sharp wit to the table—this time dissecting the bizarre, headline-hogging fallout between tech titan Elon Musk and former U.S. President Donald Trump. On Friday, Vir posted a tongue-in-cheek 'breakup announcement" on Instagram, parodying the tone of a PR statement about an amicable celebrity split. 'Love is complicated," his post began. 'When a relationship grows despite both people's best intentions, the universe sends them on separate paths. They deserve the privacy to separate in peace and with best wishes of the world." 'Actually wait… they're fighting like two schoolgirls. Yep. Cults of personality require sycophancy and submission. Insecure strongmen require conmen basking in their shadow. Combining the two is metaphorically and literally like trying to shove a d**k inside another d**k. It's technically possible, but probably painful." Das concluded his post with a classic mic-drop caption: 'Requesting privacy at this time." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Vir Das (@virdas) The comment—bold, layered, and laced with political undertones—comes at a time when the Trump-Musk feud has evolved into a full-blown soap opera. Once mutual supporters, the bromance between the billionaire entrepreneur and the former POTUS has imploded in public view, with both camps exchanging increasingly personal jabs. It all escalated after Musk reportedly criticised Trump's controversial 'One Big Beautiful Bill," a sweeping legislative package that Musk claimed would balloon the federal deficit and undermine his much-hyped Department of Government Efficiency—ironically acronymed DOGE. Trump didn't take the criticism lightly. Within 24 hours, he threatened to revoke government subsidies and contracts for Musk's companies, including Tesla and SpaceX. But Musk didn't stop there. In what could be described as a political nuke, he claimed that Trump was hesitant to release the long-sealed Jeffrey Epstein files 'because his name is on them." That accusation sent shockwaves across the media and triggered speculation across social platforms. Trump's rebuttal came swiftly, calling Musk's comments 'baseless," while also hinting at 'legal scrutiny" for the Tesla CEO. In the middle of this escalating circus, Vir Das' post serves as a cultural palate cleanser—an absurdist take on a saga that already feels like a satirical miniseries. Known for his globally resonant comedy and ability to blend humour with razor-sharp observations, Das has once again tapped into a moment that is as ridiculous as it is revealing. With fans hailing his post as 'better than any SNL sketch" and 'the only analysis we needed," it's clear that Das has not just lampooned the feud, but provided commentary on the age of ego wars, political theatre, and celebrity culture masquerading as governance. As Trump and Musk continue their digital slugfest, Das' comedic eulogy to their 'bromance" might just be the most accurate headline yet. First Published:
