Harshit Rana tells batter to 'go away', fined 10% of match fees for fiery celebration
Harshit Rana has been fined for an aggressive send-off during a Delhi Premier League (DPL) match between North Delhi Strikers and West Delhi Lions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The North Delhi Strikers captain dismissed Ayush Doseja in the third over while defending a target of 165.
After the wicket, Rana appeared to tell the batter to 'go away.' The act was noted by match officials.

In a statement, the DPL said, 'Harshit Rana admitted to the Level 1 Offence under Article 2.5 (Using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from another player in the Match) and accepted the Match Referee's sanction.' He was fined 10% of his match fees.
Rana's fiery delivery also saw him break one of the bails in half as well.
Rana, known for his fiery on-field demeanour, had earlier faced a one-match suspension in IPL 2024 for a similar send-off during a Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals game.
In the same DPL match, North Delhi Strikers' Yajas Sharma and West Delhi Lions' Krish Yadav were also fined 20% of their match fees for separate breaches.
On the field, North Delhi Strikers secured a 12-run victory. Batting first, they posted 165/9, with Sarthak Ranjan scoring 42 off 33 balls and Arjun Rapria adding 40 from 22. Yajas Sharma (23) and Yash Bhatia (22) contributed useful runs. Mayank Gusain was the best bowler for the Lions, taking 3 wickets for just 2 runs in one over.

Chasing 166, West Delhi Lions lost quick wickets, slipping to 13/2. Hrithik Shokeen's 51 off 24 balls sparked a fightback, but Deepanshu Gulia's three wickets and a tight final over from Rana restricted them to 154/8.
