Paresh Rawal, who has worked with all three Khans of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, spoke about his experience and shared that they are equally talented when it comes to acting.
'You have worked with all three Khans. Out of the three, who do you think is better?" asked an individual to Paresh Rawal while interacting with the live audience on The Lallantop.
Replying to his question, Paresh shared, 'I feel Aamir is much better when it comes to work. The thing with Aamir is that he doesn't believe in this kind of gesture or mannerisms; that's not his style. Salman, on the other hand, is full of mannerisms; it's natural for him. He has a different kind of charm, a different charisma. Shah Rukh has a lot of tenacity. If you see him in Swades and then in other movies, what an amazing performance he gave in Swades. No one can say, 'This is Shah Rukh Khan. ' All three, in their way, let me just say this, when it comes to acting overall, no one is greater or lesser. No one is inferior or superior. No one is bad and no one is great. They are all different. Each one is good in its way. That's all there is to it."

‘Shah Rukh Khan and I hit it off immediately': Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos on his equation with the Bollywood star

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos opened up about his friendship with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. In an interview with Nikhil Kamath, Ted talked about how Shah Rukh was one of the first celebrities he met as soon as he came to India before the release of the OTT platform's first Indian series, Sacred Games, in 2018. (Also Read: Ed Sheeran drops new song Sapphire with desi beats, Arijit Singh vocals. All Shah Rukh Khan fans care about is his cameo) Ted was asked to name an Indian celebrity who's his 'favourite' and he said that he shares a good equation with Shah Rukh. He recollected, 'Early in coming to India, I met Shah Rukh Khan right away. He hosted a very nice dinner for me, and we hit it off immediately. I've come back since, with my wife, and we've had nice times together. We visited each other in Los Angeles when his son was in school. So, having dinner with Shah Rukh Khan in India is much different than having dinner with him in Los Angeles.' Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan's The Ba***ds of Bollywood will soon drop on Netflix. In the same interview, Ted mentioned that he was also bowled over by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his 2024 show Heeramandi, which he says felt like a 'dare'. He said, 'Doing Heeramandi was probably one of the most creatively interesting projects I've ever worked on in India. He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) came in with his very big vision, almost like it was a dare. I dare you to make this, it's so big. And remember, he's a cinema legend. So, the idea that he was gonna make a TV show is almost unheard of. I think he came for us to say no. And when we said yes, it was a complicated production.' Shah Rukh was last seen in the 2023 films Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He is now shooting for King, with director Siddharth Anand, his daughter Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan as his co-stars.

Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee's directorial debut to be screened at the House of Commons

Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee Interdisciplinary artiste Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee's directorial debut HOME is all set to be screened at the House of Commons in the British Parliament on June 23. The screening, supported by the UK-based Bengal Heritage Foundation, comes at a time when the idea of 'home' is under global scrutiny, and is fragmented by questions of identity, belonging, and displacement. Inspired by Arundhathi Subramaniam's poem, HOME is similar to a meditation on the noise and silence that define displacement, echoing the fractures that persist in a rapidly polarising world. The short film also engages deeply with gender politics, featuring twelve leading women actors from the Kolkata film industry in a powerful ensemble. Aparajita Adhya in HOME Presented by National Award-winning actor Rituparna Sengupta and mentored by veteran theatre personality Sohag Sen, the film was earlier screened at the Kolkata International Film Festival, Birmingham Indian Film Festival, and the IVIEW WORLD Human Rights Film Festival in Delhi. 'I am very glad that the film is being screened at the House of Commons,' says Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee, adding, 'Hopefully it will raise some important questions about diasporic identity, discrimination on all counts and, of course, the lens of gender.' Speaking on the initiative, Koushik Chatterjee, president, Bengal Heritage Foundation, noted: 'We believe in narrowing gaps, promoting diversity, and upholding artistic visions that reflect the times. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Direct Shopping From Adidas Franchise Store, Up To 50% Off Original Adidas Shop Now Undo The short film is an important manifestation of the times we live through.'
