Farah Khan warns fake account impersonating her cook Dilip: 'You better take it down'
's cooking vlogs have built quite the following over the years — not just for the celebrity guests she invites into her kitchen, but also for her trusted cook and co-star,
Dilip
. Known for his shy charm and quiet wit, Dilip has grown into a fan-favourite figure.
But on Sunday morning, Farah had to break character and issue a stern warning on Instagram after she discovered someone was impersonating Dilip online.
Sharing a screenshot of the fake account, Farah pointed out that it had over 50,000 followers and was using content from her vlogs to gain views. 'This is a FAKE account, and we are complaining,' she wrote, tagging the handle directly and adding, 'You better take it down.'
Imposter Reacts Swiftly; Deletes Posts, Changes Handle
The imposter seemed to take notice of Farah's post quickly. Within minutes of her warning, the account changed its name to 'A1 Blogger,' removed the display photo resembling Dilip, and wiped all its posts — including the reels that had racked up over 100K views each.
While a few other profiles claiming to be Dilip exist on Instagram, none come close to the reach or engagement that this particular handle had gathered before it was altered.

In a recent vlog featuring Ajay Devgn, Farah even shared the heartwarming story of how she found Dilip. 'He was outside your house!' she told Ajay, laughing. 'This was about 12–13 years ago… loitering around your bungalow.' That chance encounter turned into a lasting bond, now loved by millions.
On the work front, Farah Khan's recent work was in the film 'Loveyapa' as dance choreographer. The movie unfortunately failed at the box office.
