Ontario Provincial Police responded to the bicycle theft around 1:45 p.m. 'The investigation led officers to review security camera footage and were able to identify a suspect,' police said in a news release Thursday. 'On the same day at approximately 5:15 p.m., OPP responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at a business in Temiskaming Shores involving the same individual.' Police arrested the 20-year-old suspect, recovered the bike and seized a replica weapon. Charges for the Temiskaming Shores resident include violating probation, possession of an imitation weapon and two counts of theft under $5,000. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on June 24.

RCMP seized over $68,000, 300 grams of cocaine and 350 grams of ecstasy among other illegal substances during a bust in Fort Saskatchewan. (Supplied) RCMP have charged two people after seizing 300 grams of cocaine and 350 grams of ecstasy at two Fort Saskatchewan residences last month. Over $68,000, 1.6 pounds of mushrooms, 728 doses of LSD, six pounds of marijuana, two pounds of hashish and 68 cartons of illegal cigarettes were also seized at the residences. Smaller quantities of GHB and other controlled substances were also found. Search warrants were executed at homes on Durran Bend and Roseberry Lane in Fort Saskatchewan. Police say the two people face various charges and are to appear in Alberta court on July 10.

$81,000 drug bust in Chatham-Kent

Five people have been charged following a drug trafficking investigation in Chatham-Kent. Police raided a home on Park Street on Wednesday and seized a quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and cocaine, with an estimated street value of $81,000. A number of other items were also confiscated including two BB guns, a taser, a collapsible baton, and Canadian cash. Three men between 27 and 34 years old, along with two women aged 34 and 42 are facing a list of charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
