Elli did not let these rumours bother her. In a past chat with Hindustan Times, she shared how little it affected her. 'I actually don't bother. I don't give any answer to these rumours and articles. It gave me a sort of laughter. I don't even acknowledge because I think it'll only lead to more of them. So if they want to talk about it, I cannot stop them.'

While there was plenty of gossip around them, Elli did admit she found a close friend and guide in the 'Bodyguard' star.

Shutting down 'Salman made my career' claims
It wasn't just romance rumours. At one point, people even claimed that whatever work Elli got in the film world was all thanks to Salman Khan. But Elli quickly set the record straight.
Calling these claims false, she said, 'It's all such a big lie. The only godfather I have is my own [biological] father. My parents have supported me, whether it's guiding me or financially. So, all the credit for my success goes to them and no one else.
'
Still waiting for an official word
Coming back to Elli and Ashish, while fans have almost declared them a couple after their cute photo, the two have not officially confirmed anything yet. This isn't the first time Elli and Ashish got fans talking. Back in January, the two were seen together at an award night. They even posed on the red carpet, with Elli's hand wrapped around Ashish's arm. At the time, many thought it might just be for a project or a friendly pose.
But now, after the latest cosy picture, fans are more sure than ever that something special is brewing.

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha took to social media to share a thought-provoking note where he traced the history of popcorn. Taking to Instagram, he wrote a lengthy note where he reflected on popcorn's journey from ancient South American roots to becoming an inseparable part of the movie-watching experience. In his post on Instagram, Sinha talked about how popcorn, once considered a low-class snack, rose to prominence during the Great Depression and eventually found its way into cinemas-becoming as iconic as the films themselves. Nivin Pauly, director Abrid Shine booked for fraud; Co-producer accuses duo of cheating; Rs 1.9 crore loss claimed
(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly and filmmaker Abrid Shine have landed in legal trouble. Reportedly, a serious complaint alleging financial fraud was registered against them. According to PTI, the case, filed by P S Shamnas, a native of Thalayolaparambu and co-producer of the 2022 film 'Mahaveeryar', has prompted police action under IPC Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating). In addition to this, Pauly allegedly promised to involve Shamnas as a partner in the duo's next film, Action Hero Biju 2, to help recoup the loss. Based on this assurance, Shamnas stated he invested around Rs 1.9 crore in the production of 'Action Hero Biju 2'. The project was also registered under Shamnas's own production banner, Indian Movie Makers, which appeared to cement the collaboration. Alleged deal with Dubai firm sparks fraud claim However, trouble arose when Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine reportedly entered into a Rs 5 crore distribution deal with a Dubai-based company — based on an earlier contract that allegedly listed the movie under Pauly's own production house. Shamnas now claims this was done without informing him, despite the film being officially registered under his company.
