Miley Cyrus shares what led to Billy Ray Cyrus rift

Miley Cyrus
broke her silence about what caused her to become estranged from dad
Billy Ray Cyrus
as they continue on their road to "healing" their family rift.
Weeks after she and Billy Ray Cyrus reunited and shared messages about "healing" following more than a year of family rift rumours, the "Flowers" singer confirmed they were no longer estranged and shed insight into what led to her conflict with him in the first place: her parents' split, according to E! News.
"I think timing is everything," said Miley in an interview. "As I've gotten older, I'm respecting my parents as individuals instead of as parents--because my mom's really loved my dad for her whole life, and I think being married to someone in the music industry and not being a part of it is obviously really hard," as per the outlet.
Cyrus, whose mom
Tish Cyrus
filed for
divorce
from Billy Ray in 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage--continued, "And so I think I took on some of my mom's hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult, and so I owned a lot of her pain," as per the outlet.
Tish's marriage to her current husband, Dominic Purcell, and Billy Ray's romance with Elizabeth Hurley revealed on social media eight months after he finalised his divorce from Firerose helped Miley work through her feelings and move forward on the road to healing.

"Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too--I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing," the "More to Lose" singer said. "I'm being an adult about it."
However, changing her mindset was not easy. "At first it's hard, because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, 'Yes, that's your dad, but that's just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy,'" Miley said. "My child self has caught up," according to E! News.
She commented weeks after her dad shared a rare family pic showing the two.
"My dad and I have had our challenges over the year," the former star of Hannah Montana wrote on her Instagram Stories. "Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family."
Billy Ray shared his statement about mending their rift one day later, on Mother's Day.
"I'm so proud of Miley and her guts and her courage... her wisdom and strength to bring it when our family needed it most," the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer wrote on Instagram May 11. "We are so close to a full healing."
The 63-year-old continued, "We have all been through a lot. On this Mother's Day I would like to testify to a couple facts. 1) I still very much believe in the power of prayer and respectfully ask if you do also ... and have an extra prayer for the CYRUS Family... I humbly would accept," according to E! News.

Is that $200 Fleur du Mal Knicks-themed lingerie in Kylie Jenner's suitcase for Indianapolis trip with Timothée Chalamet?

Spotted in Kylie Jenner's suitcase for her Indianapolis trip with Timothée Chalamet: a $200 Fleur du Mal Knicks-themed lingerie set, revealed in her Instagram story./ Image: Instagram/ Fleur du Mal Did Kylie Jenner Just Pack Knicks-Colored Lingerie for Timothée Chalamet? Courtside PDA, Silk Sets, and Sex-and-the-City Reposts Spark Buzz Kylie Jenner's suitcase for Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals may have revealed more than just her basketball allegiances, it hinted at her deepening bond with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet and got fans talking with one sultry detail. The Kardashians star, 27, posted a photo to her Instagram Stories following the May 31 game in Indianapolis between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers, and fans quickly noticed a very specific piece of packing. Nestled among Knicks t-shirts, an orange cap, and a pair of orange heels was a striking lingerie set in unmistakable Knicks colors: a blue silk and orange lace bra and panty set from Fleur du Mal. The $200 Knicks-Colored lingerie set According to People and the New York Post, Jenner's lingerie appears to be an unreleased set from Fleur du Mal, made in 'NY blue' silk with bright orange lace trim. The All Star Demi Bra retails for $128 and is available for pre-order, while the matching 'cheeky' underwear is priced at $68, bringing the total to nearly $200. While the set is expected to ship to regular buyers starting June 23, Jenner, naturally, had early access. Whether she wore it to the game is unclear. Jenner was seen courtside wearing a white tank top layered under a nylon Knicks jacket, paired with dark jeans. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like "왠지 뒷목 아프더라.." 사용금지베개 3개 건강생활꿀팁 더 알아보기 Undo She accessorized with a vibrant electric blue Hermès Kelly bag, white Chanel pumps, and a diamond-covered Cartier Panthère watch, all while sitting next to Chalamet, 29, as the Knicks fell to the Pacers 125-108, ending their playoff run. Courtside PDA & a Sex-and-the-City joke Earlier that week, on May 29, the couple had attended Game 5 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, showing off plenty of affection courtside. In the days after, Jenner reposted a viral Sex and the City TikTok that gave fans an unexpected glimpse into her and Chalamet's relationship dynamics. In the clip, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) says, 'I don't get laid unless the Knicks win,' to which Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) replies, 'And when did we start caring about basketball?' Jenner shared the post with no caption — but fans quickly interpreted the repost as a cheeky reference to her own sex life. The timing, just before the Knicks' loss, made the moment all the more buzzworthy. From Lakers to Knicks, and a full fashion shift Chalamet, who grew up in Manhattan, has long been a die-hard Knicks fan. And Jenner, once more closely associated with the L.A. Lakers scene, now seems fully committed to repping orange and blue — and doing it in designer style. She's attended three recent Knicks playoff games. On May 12, she brought along her sister Kendall Jenner to MSG as the Knicks played the Boston Celtics. That game also marked a courtside reunion with her longtime friend Jordyn Woods, who is dating Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns. The two were filmed by ESPN celebrating after a win, with Jenner telling Woods, 'We're wearing the same outfit every time!' Chalamet, wearing a Knicks hat, jumped into the frame yelling, 'Let's go!' Chalamet's courtside style goes full custom While Jenner's wardrobe has made headlines, Chalamet's fits are just as committed. For Game 6 in Indianapolis, he wore one of his boldest looks yet: a custom orange-and-blue all-leather zip-up jacket and matching flared pants from Nahmias, paired with Knicks-colored Chrome Hearts x Timberland boots, a matching Chrome Hearts belt, white sunglasses, and a $11,400 Cartier necklace. Together, the couple has made courtside a full-blown fashion stage, often coordinating their outfits and drawing the spotlight even when the game's not on.

‘Luxury feels like jail': Adhyayan Suman opens up about not owning home at 37

Actor and singer Adhyayan Suman, son of veteran actor Shekhar Suman, rose to fame with the 2009 film Raaz – The Mystery Continues. Despite the promising start, many of his subsequent films failed to make an impact at the box office. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Adhyayan opened up about the challenges he has faced in the industry, calling himself a 'reverse case of nepotism' and expressing disappointment at not owning a house at the age of 37. (Also Read: Kangana Ranaut's ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman supports her after slap incident: 'It should not have happened') He spoke candidly about not getting work despite being the son of a well-known Bollywood actor and said, "I can say I am the best example of nepotism, jisko kaam nahi mila nepotism ki wajah se, or I can prove that. And you know, I feel nepotism is a very futile debate, and I think it became a sort of fashion conversation. Luxury feels like jail at one point in your life, no matter how many cars that your father gives you, or the house or the penthouses that you live in or the vacations that you go to, people like me with a conscience to do something in life are miserable.' He further spoke about not having a home of his own and added, 'Because what you do beyond the point, I mean, you've owned the car, you've owned the house, it's not yours, it's your father's, it's his hard work, you've enjoyed it. But beyond the point, you feel like mera kya hai, at 37, I don't own a home." Adhyayan made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with Haal-e-Dil, directed by Anil Devgan. He gained wider recognition with his second film, Raaz – The Mystery Continues (2009), a supernatural thriller directed by Mohit Suri. His performance in Jashnn (2009) also received praise from critics. Most recently, he appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series Heeramandi, which featured an ensemble cast including Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shekhar Suman, and Fardeen Khan. He will next be seen in the film Madrasi Gang, which he announced in 2021. Produced by S. N. Reddy and written and directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, the film is currently in post-production.

Battlefield box office: The highs & lows of Hindi war films

Have war films or military dramas in recent years drawn audiences to theatres the way JP Dutta's Border (1997) once did? After Operation Sindoor , filmmakers made a beeline to register titles related to it. The tussle of title rights doesn't come as a surprise given the rise in number of films related to the armed forces. In the past, Army veterans have told us that while films on the forces have improved technically with the use of CGI, VFX, and other special effects, the storylines are still lacking. They picked films like Haqeeqat (1964), Border (1997) and Lakshya (2004) as their personal favourites when it comes to authentic portrayal. In the recent years, 2019's Uri has been a gamechanger, along with Kesari (2019) and Shershaah (2021). Despite the high volume of films based on the armed forces, most have barely managed to pique audience interest.
