She recently remembered the late legendary filmmaker, Guru Dutt on his 100th birth anniversary and penned down a heartfelt note. Taking to X, she wrote, 'Remembering the timeless legend Guru Dutt Saab on his 100th birth anniversary. A century since his birth, yet his art feels more alive than ever. He wasn't just a filmmaker, he was a poet who spoke through cinema."
The actress recalled some of Dutt's most well-known works, and added, 'Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Bibi, and Ghulam. His films were not only seen; they were felt. His stories conveyed longing, love, and sorrow, leaving an enduring influence on Indian film."

Taking to social media on July 16, the Anupamaa actress didn't mince words. 'Disgusting and unforgivable!" she wrote.
