She detailed how the two have supported each other through divorce
Remini finalized her divorce with Angelo Pagán in October 2024 while Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez are forever in each other's corners.
Remini, 54, talked about her friendship with the multihyphenate, 55, with Us Weekly, noting how the two supported each other through difficult times.
"Right after the divorce, we'd text each other loving messages of support. Sometimes you don't talk to people every day like you used to, but that doesn't mean the love is lost. Friendships ebb and flow. That doesn't mean we're at odds," said Remini.

While The King of Queens star didn't specify if she was referring to Lopez's relationship life or her own, she did file for divorce from Angelo Pagán after 21 years of marriage in August 2024. The couple, who share 20-year-old Sofia Bella Pagán, finalized their divorce that October.
Noting that she said that she has no interest in dating at the moment, she expressed what changed in her relationship with Pagán that led to their divorce.
"You become friends, but there's more to marriage than that. I saw that Angelo wanted something different," she said.
"When you're giving what you give in a relationship, but it's not what the person wants, it's like, 'So you don't appreciate what I'm doing? Well, I don't appreciate what you're doing because that's not what I want,' " she continued.
As for Lopez, her most recent relationship status change came when she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024. The couple had married in July 2022 and later hosted a ceremony in Georgia in front of friends and family that August.
A source told PEOPLE back in March that Lopez is "focused on work and is not dating," noting that 'She's happy as it is."

'Life goes on and if anyone can move forward and be positive about it, it's Jennifer. She sees everything as a lesson. She was hurt by their sudden separation and Ben's unwillingness to not work on their marriage. She really wanted it to work out," said the source.

‘Blake Lively Khaleesi Text' Trending Amid Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

Wondering why the phrase 'Blake Lively Khaleesi Text' is trending again? As the legal battle between Lively and Justin Baldoni continues to escalate, the curiosity about previous text exchanges between them is growing. Here are more details on the trend. The phrase 'Blake Lively Khaleesi text' has been making waves online, as her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni grows increasingly tense. The message, sent during a behind-the-scenes dispute over the film adaptation of It Ends With Us, has yet again resurfaced. This follows a major update in their court case. On June 2, a federal judge ruled that Lively's emotional distress claims would not proceed after her legal team opted to drop them. The court also denied Baldoni's request to obtain her private medical and therapy records, since those claims were no longer part of the case. Meanwhile, on June 5, Lively publicly criticized Baldoni for distancing himself from the feminist ideals he once promoted. Lively's spokesperson told Us Weekly, '19 leading survivors and organizations devoted to women's rights, children's rights and domestic violence have now signed onto four separate amicus briefs. All are united in opposing Justin Baldoni's attempt to dismantle a law designed to protect women who speak up — simply to protect himself.' The tension first started during production on It Ends With Us, where Lively was cast as the lead. Later, she reportedly became heavily involved in shaping the script. According to Baldoni's legal complaint, she pushed for significant rewrites and tried to take creative control. While Baldoni acknowledged her enthusiasm, he chose to incorporate only parts of her suggestions. That decision reportedly upset Lively. She later brought up her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and friend Taylor Swift in a conversation. The situation took a dramatic turn with a final message, now known as the 'Khaleesi text.' Drawing a parallel to Game of Thrones, Lively wrote, 'If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you'll appreciate that I'm Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons.' 'For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you,' she added. (via Hola!) The trial of this legal battle is set to begin in March 2026. Originally reported by Disheeta Maheshwari on ComingSoon. Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split

Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split Show Caption Hide Caption Watch: ABC 'Golden Bachelor' divorce reveal, Al Roker's reaction On ABC, "Golden Bachelor" stars Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce, after marrying in January. On NBC, Al Roker reacted. Theresa Nist is hitting back at claims her "Golden Bachelor" marriage tarnished because of Gerry Turner's cancer diagnosis. Nist, who appeared in 2023's inaugural season of the "Bachelor" franchise highlighting elder contestants in their golden years, addressed her ex's claims that the couple split once Turner found out he had cancer. Turner, the first "Golden Bachelor," proposed to and married Nist in a live televised wedding on ABC in January 2024 – but their relationship was over by April 2024, and the couple at the time said a decision of where to settle down contributed to their divorce, which was finalized that June. Turner, 73, in December revealed his terminal cancer diagnosis of Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a bone marrow cancer and type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and suggested their split was connected to his health bombshell. Nist, 71, at the time denied "a factor in the ending of the relationship, at least not for me," in an interview with People, and she's doubling down on her shock at Turner's claims. 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner says cancer diagnosis factored into Theresa Nist divorce "I was just so surprised that he even said that I knew about the cancer a long time ago," she said on the June 5 episode of the "Almost Famous Podcast" with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. "The way Gerry presented it to me was that, 'The doctor said that I'm going to die of old age before this cancer gets to me.' He bluffed it off, like it really wasn't that important, and he had no symptoms, and he still doesn't." 'Golden Bachelor' breakup bombshell: Look back at Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist's romance She added, "I would have never left my husband over an illness." While Turner previously told People magazine that his health announcement "probably will clear up a lot of mystery around what happened back in February, March and April" during the couple's choice to split, Nist denied that their relationship was affected in that way because of Turner's cancer. "We never had a conversation that said, 'Oh my gosh, you're sick. I can't stay with you now. I have to leave.' That never happened," she said on the podcast. Nist also suggested Turner wanted "empathy" from "Bachelor" fans. "Did he want empathy from the public?" she questioned. "I was angry that he would say something like that, but then I am such an understanding person, and I can put myself easily in someone else's shoes. So I tried to see it from his perspective, and I thought, 'OK, if that's in his mind, then I guess that's how he sees it.' Everyone has their own perception of what happened."

Blake Lively's Critique of Justin Baldoni Gains Support from 19 Women's Groups

Blake Lively called out Justin Baldoni, and now, 19 women's rights groups are backing her. What started as a legal dispute has turned into a public reckoning, with advocacy organizations stepping in to defend Lively's right to speak out. They are not just supporting her claims of sexual harassment but also calling out Baldoni's legal tactics as dangerous to survivors everywhere. In a new wave of support, 14 additional organizations, including the National Organization for Women and the National Network to End Domestic Violence, filed amicus curiae briefs. They are urging the court to dismiss Justin Baldoni's $400 million defamation suit against Blake Lively. This brings the total to 19 groups that stand with her. These groups accuse Baldoni of using DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) strategies to silence Lively and twist the narrative. Furthermore, Lively's team directly called out Baldoni's shift in public stance. Once known for his feminist messaging in podcasts, interviews, and his viral 2017 TED Talk, Baldoni now faces criticism for betraying those same values. 'Where he once upon a time urged men to listen to the women in your life … to hold their anguish and actually believe them,' Lively's statement read. 'Now, contradicting years of his own public persona.' In a June 5 statement to Us Weekly, Lively's spokesperson emphasized the significance of the support from 19 organizations, including Child USA and Sanctuary for Families. 'All are united in opposing Justin Baldoni's attempt to dismantle a law designed to protect women who speak up, simply to protect himself,' the statement read. For those in need of more context, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's lawsuit battle started in December last year when Lively sued Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and reputational damage. Baldoni denied the claims and countersued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist for $400 million, accusing them of defamation. Both sides have filed motions to dismiss aspects of the case, with a trial expected in 2026.
