Lil Wayne at centre of growing fears for health after postponing gig due to illness
Lil Wayne is at the centre of growing fears for his health after he postponed a highly anticipated Toronto concert due to illness. The 42-year-old rapper's scheduled venue, Budweiser Stage, announced he would not be appearing in a statement issued on X. It said: 'Due to unforeseen illness, Wayne's Toronto show tonight will be postponed. 'As his fans know, he loves putting on nothing short of the best performances for those who come out, and he was so excited for this one.' The announcement referred to a gig on Monday, 11 August, but is only now coming to light due to concerns about Wayne's health by fans. Wayne, whose legal name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., had been scheduled to perform at Toronto's Budweiser Stage but will now reschedule. The statement continued: 'Please stay tuned for the new date coming soon. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date once announced.' No further details have been provided regarding the nature of his illness and neither Wayne or his representatives have publicly commented on his condition despite fans getting increasingly worried about the performer. Wayne is currently on the Tha Carter VI tour, which launched on 1 August in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is set to continue through multiple cities including Detroit, Los Angeles, and Dallas before concluding on 2 October at West Palm Beach, Florida's iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. Special guests on select dates include French Montana, Tyga, and NoCap, while Belly Gang Kushington will appear at all performances. In a separate controversy, Wayne's on-off girlfriend Denise Bidot, 39, publicly accused him of physical abuse and criticised him for ending their relationship via text on Mother's Day. In posts on her Instagram Stories, Denise said: 'Breaking up with someone on Mother's Day is diabolical. Prayers up though. God always pulls me through. Walking with faith.' She added: 'Wayne literally kicked me and my daughter out on Mother's Day today. I am just recovering from surgery. I am five weeks out from a whole mommy makeover. I can't even lift boxes. 'But this man has his assistants coming to help kick us out today... and (he) broke up with me on Mother's Day through text. And (my daughter's) birthday's next weekend.' She also wrote she was 'unsure how to even process my emotions' and asked followers for legal advice – noting: 'I know he has two girls being flown in today, and who knows how many plethora of girls he has. I've been nothing but supportive to this man, loved him till the end of the f****** world.' At the time of her claims, representatives for Wayne did not respond to requests for comment.

Sharon Stone's rare red carpet appearance with all three of her sons
Don't miss out on the headlines from Celebrity Kids. Followed categories will be added to My News. Sharon Stone is a proud boy mum. The actress, 67, was joined by her three sons, Roan, 25, Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19, for a rare red carpet appearance at Monday's premiere of her new film, Nobody 2, in Los Angeles. Stone wore a navy dress, glasses and a gold bangle bracelet as she posed for pictures with her boys, who all wore suits. Roan had on a pink suit, Laird opted for a grey suit, and Quinn went with a navy pinstripe suit. Along with her kids, Stone took photos with her co-stars Bob Odenkirk and Christopher Lloyd. Stone was a proud mum on the red carpet of her latest film. Picture: Valerie Macon/AFP The action thriller, also starring Connie Nielson, RZA, Colin Hanks, Michael Ironside and John Ortiz, is a sequel to 2021's Nobody, which follows a family man (Odenkirk) who returns to his former life as an assassin. Stone adopted her oldest son with her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein, in 2000. After the pair divorced in 2004, she adopted Laird in 2005 and Quinn in 2006. The Oscar nominee and Bronstein initially shared custody of Roan, but Roan ended up primarily living with his dad in San Francisco during the school year. Stone tried, and failed, to challenge the agreement. 'It broke my heart,' she said on the Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast in 2023 about losing custody of Roan. 'I ended up in the Mayo Clinic with extra heartbeats in the upper and lower chambers of my heart.' She has previously spoken about her heartbreak over the custody battle with her ex. Picture:Stone alleged that her role in the erotic thriller Basic Instinct affected her custody of Roan. 'When the judge asked my child – my tiny little boy, 'Do you know your mother makes sex movies?' This kind of abuse by the system, that it was considered what kind of parent I was because I made that movie,' she said. 'People are walking around with no clothes on at all on regular TV now and you saw maybe like a sixteenth of a second of possible nudity of me – and I lost custody of my child,' Stone added. Stone, who has been a single mum since her divorce, has maintained a close bond with her boys. In May, Stone shared a throwback photo of her sons swimming in the pool to celebrate Mother's Day. 'They boys, now young men, have made my Mother's Day EVERYTHING,' she wrote. Nobody 2 is in cinemas this Thursday. Beauty Diary: Sex worker's shock act with popular $20 Coles item
The creator of a $20 product sold in Coles has responded to a sex worker's recent viral video, warning the item is 'not originally intended' for the way it was used in the clip. Blue Eyed Kayla Jade, a 'full service' worker who lives on the Gold Coast, has amassed millions of followers thanks to her candid client confessions. Along with juicy details about her X-rated exploits, she also shares her skincare and make-up tips, and regularly causes items to sell out. But her most recent video, a paid promotion with personal care brand GEM, has raised eyebrows after she used a razor to shave her face. Fans were stunned by the adult content creator's unusual technique, in fact, even the brand's creator Georgia Geminder was so shocked by how Kayla used the grooming essential. 'The razors weren't originally intended for that, more so for legs, bikini, underarms, etc,' she told The Beauty Diary. 'But if it works for Kayla, it works for us.' Women shaving their faces isn't new, but rarely is the task completed with a standard razor. Instead, those who like to remove their fine facial hairs, also known as peach fuzz, will use a dermaplaning tool to get the job done. Let's be clear, it's still a razor, but instead of a multi-barred long blade, a dermaplaning tool contains a tiny scalpel blade to exfoliate the skin which in the process also removes peach fuzz. And it's popularity lies in the fact it results in smoother skin that helps skincare products absorb better as well as giving a flawless finish when used with beauty products such as foundation and bronzer. In Kayla's video, she explained she was shaving her face to make her make-up 'sit so much better' after experiencing unexpected facial hair growth recently. After lathering her face in shaving foam, Kayla then proceeds to use Gem's 'Skin-Loving Shaving Kit' on her cheeks, before taking the razor down onto her chin and ending on her forehead. 'This shaver has made my legs insanely smooth, so I know that it will work so well on my face,' she states, as it glides over her skin. Concerned fans however were quick to flood the video, which has clocked up over 600,000 views in the past 24 hours, to warn the star against face shaving. 'Duudddeee you need a dermaplaning blade for that, easier to control and not shave your eyebrows off,' one said. 'You need to get an actual derma blade, don't use those normal razors,' agreed another. As one claimed: 'Your hair will grow back thicker with a normal blaze.' So can you get the same effect using a regular razor as a dermaplaning tool? According to Ms Geminder, if men can shave their face, so can women. 'Gone are the days where we have to use our boyfriends/brothers/husbands/etc razors to achieve a precise shave,' she said. 'Gem razors provide a premium, men's-grade shaving experience (minus the ugly packaging), and we love Kayla putting them to the test. 'Plus, if men can do it – we should too. Just make sure to proceed with caution, we don't want any missing eyebrows.' Gem's 'category-disrupting razors' launched into Coles last month after taking Ms Geminder two years to perfect, and the beauty entrepreneur said shoppers are snapping the item up like crazy. 'To be honest our razors have been a crowd favourite since they launched in Coles last month with 1 product selling every minute,' she said. 'Kayla's post has gone wild, and while it's too soon to know if it has had a direct impact on sales, I can see from web traffic that lots of people are trying to shop the Skin-Loving Shaving Kit. 'From experience, Kayla definitely always sells us out, which is why we love to collaborate with her.'
