with 161 points. He holds a commanding lead, with Pascal Wehrlein in second place at 84 points.
Oliver Rowland continues to share adorable pictures of his daughter on Instagram Stories as they explore Japan together. His daughter also accompanied him in the paddock when the Qualifying session was delayed due to rain. Fans were charmed by her cuteness, especially when she asked him to show his car.
Speaking about his strategy after winning the Tokyo race, Rowland said, 'No words! I was not a master of strategy in the first half of the race, I was pretty disappointed in myself. But I figured out that everybody would kind of undercut me so I thought: 'I've got six minutes, I'll undercut them' and in the end it worked. I knew they would all react. I just had to make the progress on the first lap so it paid off today, but I was a bit lucky.'
Sharing his plan for the road ahead, he added, 'I've always said that in Tokyo and Shanghai I need to keep pushing to extend the Championship lead. Going into Shanghai I'll have the same approach this year and then maybe after that we can start to think about the lead we've got.'

Last month, Kohli announced his Test retirement ahead of the national side's scheduled five-match tour to England in June. 'It's been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket. Honestly, I never imagined the journey this format would take me on. It's tested me, shaped me, and taught me lessons I'll carry for life,' Kohli wrote on his Instagram handle. Kohli ended the posted with '#269, signing off'. The 36-year-old Kohli brought down the curtains on a prolific red-ball career, spanning 14 years and 123 Tests. The Delhi batter made his Test debut against the West Indies on June 20, 2011, in Kingston. Kohli had since gone on to become India's most successful batter in the previous decade between 2010 and 2019. Kohli was the third-highest Test run-getter in the period, piling on 7202 runs at 54.97 average and 27 centuries, the most by any batter in the time. With 9230 runs in 210 innings, Kohli stands fourth on the all-time charts among Indian batters, only behind the legendary trio of Sachin Tendulkar (15,921), Rahul Dravid (13,265), and Sunil Gavaskar (10,122) with 9230 runs at a 46.85 average.

Less than a month before the Indian team's departure for the tour of England, Rohit announced his retirement from Test cricket via Instagram. Just five days later, Kohli did the same. The back-to-back announcements left an air of uncertainty around the strength of the Indian team, especially before the crucial series against England. However, Gill boldly dismissed questions about any pressure on the young Indian team in the absence of the two stalwarts, saying it was just like any tough situation they had faced before.
