Mohamed Mostafa could bounce back at Paris FC
Mohamed Mostafa / FC Nantes
Recently promoted to Ligue 1, Paris FC continues to attract reinforcements for its attacking line. Just days before the season kicks off, the Parisian club has reportedly added Mohamed Mostafa to its shortlist.
According to local media, the Egyptian striker caught the eye of the Parisian management during a recent friendly against FC Nantes, where he looked sharp and dangerous. While Paris FC has made no secret of its interest in the 27-year-old, Mostafa Mohamed is not at the top of the French club's list. Talks are still on hold, but the deal could gain momentum before the end of the summer transfer window.
Over the last three seasons with Nantes (2022–2025), Mostafa Mohamed has played 95 Ligue 1 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists. In this 2024–2025 campaign, he has netted 5 goals in 30 appearances, completed 159 passes (66% success rate), made 12 dribbles, and had over 80 touches inside the opposition box. His duel and tackle success rate remains close to 50%, underlining his commitment and presence in the attacking third.

Brentford agree deal with Bournemouth for forward Dango Ouattara
Brentford have agreed a deal with Bournemouth for forward Dango Ouattara. The deal is worth in the region of £35million with £5m in add-ons, which would be a club record for the west London side. Ouattara has been authorised to travel for a medical on Friday. The 23-year-old pushed for the move as he has not been happy at the south-coast club, not feeling the trust of head coach Andoni Iraola. Brentford have convinced him to be a replacement for their previous forward Bryan Mbeumo who left for Manchester United this summer. Advertisement Ouattara joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Ligue 1 side Lorient in a deal worth £20million ($26.8m). During his two-and-a-half seasons at the Vitality Stadium, the versatile forward has scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in 88 games. Capable of playing on either wing as well as up front, Ouattara scored seven goals and provided four assists last season to help Andoni Iraola's side finish ninth in the Premier League. Ouattara has also scored ten goals in 30 games for the Burkina Faso national team. Bournemouth have already had several key departures this window with Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Ilias Zabarnyi all leaving the club this summer. Spot the pattern. Callum Hudson-Odoi close to agreeing new contract with Nottingham Forest
Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to agreeing a new contract with Nottingham Forest. His original contract with the club was a three-year deal and is set to expire next summer. Hudson-Odoi, 24, came through Chelsea's academy and made 126 senior appearances before leaving for Forest in 2023, the summer after a year-long loan at Bayer Leverkusen. Advertisement The winger has made 70 appearances, registering 13 goals and six assists, over two seasons at the Midlands club. Last season he played 36 matches in all competitions despite picking up a couple of injuries. Forest have experienced multiple changes to their attacking players this summer. They lost wingers Antony Elanga and Ramon Sosa to Newcastle United and Palmeiras respectively. This has been partially balanced by the signing of Dan Ndoye from Bologna for £35million ($47.5m). The Athletic reported on Thursday that Forest are in the process of agreeing a deal with Ipswich Town for Omari Hutchinson, who also came through Chelsea's academy. A deal has been agreed, however, for Manchester City's James McAtee, per The Athletic. Hudson-Odoi appeared at multiple age-group levels of England's national set-up before making his senior debut in 2019. He has been capped three times but the last of which was in November 2019.
