Unconfirmed leaked cast of Marvel Doomsday
Journalist Jeff Sneider revealed an alleged leaked cast list on The Hot Mic podcast and shared the same on his social media handle, though he mentioned to take the information with a 'grain of salt.' The list suggests Mark Ruffalo will return as Hulk, Brie Larson will reprise her role as Captain Marvel, and Jeremy Renner, who recently revealed turning down the Hawkeye 2 offer, might also return to his role as Clint Barton. The rumoured list also has some major upsets, as fans were hoping for Spider-Man and Wolverine to reprise their roles. But if this one is to be believed, that's not happening yet. Charlie Cox and Oscar Isaac are also missing.
'Being able to create stories and explore characters within the Marvel Universe fulfilled a lifelong dream of ours,' said the Russo brothers, who are directing the movie. 'We're thrilled to collaborate once again with Kevin, Lou and the entire Marvel team.'

Multiverse collapse & Doctor Doom
Of what we know so far, the story of Avengers: Doomsday centres around the collapse of the multiverse, where different realities crash into each other, causing what are called 'incursions.' Marvel recently dropped its new world of misfits called New Avengers as Thunderbolts, the cast will also reprise their role in Doomsday, along with the cast of the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This was confirmed in the Thunderbolts post-credit scene, which suggests that all Avengers and New Avengers may finally team up against the threat, and the one pulling the strings behind it all is none other than Victor Von Doom. Downey is back, but not as Iron Man. This time, he's playing the powerful villain Doctor Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027

Ryan Coogler says he has no plans for ‘Sinners' sequel
(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) After the blockbuster success of 'Sinners', the fans of this horror-drama have been earnestly hoping for its sequel as per the current trend in the film industry. The director of the movie, Ryan Coogler , has now expressed his intentions of not making a sequel to the movie, reported Variety. In a recent interview with Ebony Magazine, as quoted by Variety, Coogler, who has helmed mega-franchise blockbusters like 'Black Panther' and 'Creed,' said he "never" thought about making a follow-up to his enormously successful vampire thriller, 'Sinners'. The director shared the inspiration behind his movie while highlighting that his "intention" was always to make a "holistic and finished" thing. "I've been in a space of making franchise films for a bit, so I wanted to get away from that. I was looking forward to working on a film that felt original and personal to me and had an appetite for delivering something to audiences that was original and unique," said Coogler as quoted by Variety. He continued, "I wanted the movie to feel like a full meal: your appetisers, starters, entrees and desserts, I wanted all of it there. I wanted it to be a holistic and finished thing. That was how I was asked all about it. That was always my intention," as quoted by Variety. In a recent sit-down with Variety, Coogler elaborated on how "Sinners" perfectly aligns with his favourite type of movies. While talking about 'Sinners', the director said, "This film is very much me. I love anything supernatural. I'm in. I like stories about communities, about neighbourhoods, about archetypes. And I love period anything. So, when you layer those things together, that does it for me," as quoted by Variety. According to the outlet, 'Sinners' recently crossed 350 million USD at the global box office, which places the movie in the top 10 highest-grossing movies of the year. The film follows brothers Smoke and Stack, both played by frequent Coogler collaborator Michael B. Jordan. As the enterprising twins return to their home in Mississippi to open a music hall, they find their new business under siege by a horde of vampires. Other members of the expansive cast include Miles Caton, Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Jack O'Connell, Andrene Ward-Hammond, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller and more.
