Hurling Ace Kyle Hayes has been making headlines in the last 12 months following several incidents that have landed the Limerick native in court on more than one occasion.
A two-year suspended sentence was imposed on Hayes, 26, last December after he was convicted of two counts of violent disorder after kicking 24-year-old carpenter Cillian McCarthy at the Icon nightclub, in Limerick, in October 2019.
In March, the Limerick man lost his appeal against the dangerous driving conviction fail — with the sports star claiming it was more of a careless driving conviction.
Last year, Kyle was one of four Limerick hurlers on the GAA All-Star hurling team, and was supported by girlfriend Claire Fitzgerald at the awards ceremony which was held at the Convention Centre Dublin. Although it is not known when the pair officially started their relationship, it is understood the pair have been together for more than two years.
Though they keep their personal lives quite private, Claire made her first appearance on Hayes' arm at the 2022 All-Ireland Stars Awards or All Stars as they're more commonly known, when it was held at the Convention Centre in Dublin.

While hurling ace Kyle's Instagram profile is very much public, Cork woman Claire keeps her social media locked, despite having almost 3,500 followers.
Claire has only made a handful of appearances on her beau's social media, with the last dating back from July 29, 2023.
Posting a snap of the two standing pitchside after the All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, wearing matching jerseys, the 26-year-old wrote: 'Very grateful to be a part of this journey with the team, thanks to all for the support shown throughout the year!'
While the pair have been snapped together on a few occasions, there is little to no information about the pair, with Evoke reporting that Fitzgerald's personal life is 'very much not public'.
However, following his All-Star success, we're sure that Kyle will most likely remain active on social media, posting for his over 30,000 followers — and we might get more insight into his relationship with Claire, and maybe a few more snaps of the two!
