See j-hope's best style moments from his Hope on the Stage era
In the early days of 2023, the realms of K-pop and fashion seemed to propel forward faster than ever. A large part of it, attributed to the luxury fashion houses sweeping up the members of one of the biggest groups in the world—BTS. Week on week, there were announcements and concurrent front row appearances for the fashion shows at the time; Jimin for Dior, Suga at Valentino, and soon after, j-hope for Louis Vuitton. Out of the septet, the latter was the only member who was continuing a relationship already previously nurtured, considering the group's prior ambassadorship with the maison. And yet, he came in swinging still; his playful and dynamic sense of style on full display when the announcement was dropped. View this post on Instagram

Part of the brief? Think a terrific range of eclectic outerwear options, chromatic ensembles—which always feels like a special ode to Hope World —and a strategic mix of elevated streetwear. In an instant, the moodboard was written, and the mega star solidified his sartorial smarts and experimental tendencies, one which he has consistently developed over the years, even through his time in South Korea's mandatory military service. Yet in recent months, the style mover has been taking it one step further—with the outfits for his Hope on the Stage world tour that kicked off earlier in February.
Whilst his more casual ensembles on stage features plenty of baggy denim, varsity jackets, oversized graphic tees and one's trusty Jordans—all hallmarks of his streetwear leanings—it's his ardent love for kitschy accessories as well as bold, vivid designs that truly cast him in his own league amid the rest of the BTS members. And whilst there is plenty of LV mixed into the ambassador's stage looks, it's the chromatic joy of his opening look which really seals the deal: a modular rotation of five different crimson ensembles custom made by South Korean designer Juntae Kim.
As we gear up for j-hope's upcoming two-night stop in Singapore, we chronicle the best style moments from his Hope on the Stage era so far. @uarmyhope

Seungmin of Stray Kids on his latest campaign with Burberry
We're currently in the throes of summer. Of tank tops, flip flops, colourful popsicles and music festivals all around—especially in Britain, now with the weather on their side. From Glastonbury and Leeds to BST Hyde Park and Isle of Wight, bands and artists have been congregating in a formidable lineup, all to perform live in front of throngs of festival goers. Celebrating the universal phenomenon is Burberry, with its latest campaign 'Burberry Festival'. 'Think of the campaign like a collage,' says chief creative officer, Daniel Lee. 'Candid moments capturing off-duty fans and headline acts in between gigs.' Shot against a set of sound systems by photographer Drew Vickers, the campaign features a cast from the intertwining worlds of music and fashion, including Liam Gallagher and his children, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne and South Korean star Seungmin. In this case, art imitates life for the Stray Kids member, who is all too familiar with playing at a music festival with his members. Below, he shares with Vogue Singapore his time shooting for the latest Burberry campaign and what he loves most about music festivals. How would you describe the vibe of the shoot? Everyone was so supportive and really seemed to enjoy and cheer on my energy, which brought me so much strength. I wanted to stay in London longer! Seungmin in 'Burberry Festival'. Courtesy of Burberry Describe your look for the campaign. The classic, vibrant, youthful, and clean Burberry vibe? I feel a bit shy saying it myself… What was the best moment of the day for you? When I took the mic and filmed a performance scene with an Oasis song playing, I really got into it, and I was super happy because everyone seemed to enjoy it! Seungmin behind the scenes of 'Burberry Festival'. Courtesy of Burberry What's the most memorable moment you've had while performing at a music festival? It would be the moment on stage at last year's festival. The memory of performing in front of countless fans with the sunset in the background still remains so clear to me. The sight of the audience's hands glowing in the sunset really tugged at my heart! Accompanied by the band's sound surrounding us, our music felt truly grand. Is there a song that you feel hits differently when performed at a festival? I love performing 'S-Class'. It may be because the song holds a sense of pride, but even when the song isn't in the language of the audience, they still sing along and relate with it, making it feel even more special! View this post on Instagram A post shared by BST Hyde Park (@bsthydepark) You've played some iconic festivals so far, including BST Hyde Park in London. What do you take away from those experiences? It's always so amazing and we are so grateful to see how much love people pour into our music and countless other things even from so far away. Even though we all speak different languages, it seems that our hearts have become similar as they are connected through music! How important are festivals in connecting fans from different parts of the world? Since it's not an opportunity that comes easily, I think the big stage of a music festival is a really important and rare chance for artists to connect with fans.

'Please say hello from afar': Jay Chou hounded by fans in Kyoto, his makeup artist falls and fractures leg, Entertainment News
When two superstars meet, fans can go wild. Jay Chou's recent outing with Japanese singer-actor Tomohisa Yamashita in Kyoto led to the former's makeup artist and friend, Du Guozhang, being caught in the crossfire. In videos posted by fans on Douyin, the King of Mandopop, 46, can be seen exiting what appears to be a restaurant with Tomohisa, 40, surrounded by a large crowd of people as they try to get into a van. Jay posted on his Instagram Story later: "Brother Du broke his bones at two parts of his leg, please say hello from afar, don't follow! "But he's still very humorous, so I'm relieved." Du can be seen in a wheelchair with his left leg in a cast. Jay joked in a follow-up Instagram Story: "I feel bad for Brother Du, but I still want to ask if anyone took a photo of him falling down." Jay shared Instagram posts of himself and Tomohisa in Kyoto over the last few days. [embed] On his second post from June 3, he edited the caption to reiterate: "By the way, if you meet us, please say hello from afar. Yesterday was a bit dangerous." Airbnb experiences themed after K-pop boy band Seventeen to be rolled out in major cities
Airbnb experiences themed after K-pop boy band Seventeen to be rolled out in major cities SEOUL – In short-term lodging, experience could matter just as much or more than the spaces themselves, which is why a collaboration with a K-pop boy band such as Seventeen is so beneficial, according to Airbnb co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky. At a press conference in Seoul on June 4, the vacation rental website's head honcho recalled working with the South Korean group in 2024, a project he said had proved to be hugely popular with not only Seventeen fans, but Airbnb travellers as a whole, because of the unique experience it offered. The collaboration included replicating the set of Seventeen's music video Love, Money, Fame (2024) into a real-life accommodation, allowing Carats - what Seventeen fans are dubbed - to experience a unique stay. The same props from the music video were also used to furnish the Seventeen-inspired Airbnb room. 'We plan to roll out Seventeen-themed Airbnb programmes in major cities,' Mr Chesky said at the press conference, without identifying where. This followed a meet-and-greet event for 60 pre-selected Seventeen fans where the K-pop act were one-day-only special Airbnb hosts, in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Seventeen Airbnb Experience, as the fan gathering was called, was a demonstration of Airbnb Originals, a celebrity-hosted exclusive experience that is part of Airbnb Experiences, an ambitious programme Airbnb launched in May to focus on unique activities run by local hosts. The programme is to help travellers truly experience their local surroundings with local hosts who know just how to do so, according to Mr Chesky. 'The biggest asset in people's lives is really not their home — it's their time. What if people could share not only their space, but their time with someone else?' he asked. The latest trip to Seoul by the Airbnb CEO is part of his global tour to promote Airbnb Experiences. He has made stops in Paris, Berlin, Milan and Tokyo, and emphasised that Seoul is a strategic market he personally finds deeply inspirational. According to Airbnb Korea, bookings on the platform in the country in 2024 soared 20 per cent from the previous year. The make-up of international visitors to South Korea is increasingly becoming diverse, the company added without elaboration.
