Selma Blair shares unbelievable health update amid years-long MS battle
Selma Blair had amazing news to share when she hit the red carpet at The Daily Front Row's 9th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Thursday, April 24.
The Cruel Intentions star, 52, was resplendent in a strapless gold Betsey Johnson dress with a layered, A-line skirt falling to midi length.
The Legally Blonde actress was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018 but now, she shared that she is 'truly in remission.'
'I am doing amazingly well. I've been feeling great for about a year,' she told People at the event held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
'But I am finally well enough to really, genuinely ... I always try and feel my best, but now that I actually have stamina and energy and getting out and going out isn't so scary.'
Selma was asked what she's looking forward to now that she has her health back and she said she hasn't had any dreams since her diagnosis.
'I think maybe since the diagnosis,' she explained when asked what she meant.
'You're just tired all the time. I spent so much of my life so tired from being unwell that I think I just was trying to get through the day.'
Blair continued: 'And now it's like, wait, I realize I don't know what my goals are.'
She went on to say that her thoughts are 'much more career-oriented' these days and said she'd love to get back into acting and that is something she is actively working on.
In January, Variety reported that Blair has three upcoming movies going into production: Stay Forte, a drama about the Israel-Hamas war; a supernatural thriller called Silent; and a twin drama There There.
'I started feeling really better this last year and I'm back at work and doing things, so I will have things to announce,' she said at the time.
Selma also wants to help other people navigate their chronic illnesses and reminding them to dream and set goals for the future, even when they are unsure if they will have a future or not.
'I still am advocating for people with chronic illness and getting better, and what that looks like when you haven't made your wishes. How do we give ourselves a new life force?' she asked People.

Selma attended the event in archival Betsey Johnson to present the iconic designer with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Selma and Betsey wore the same dress to the event, except Johnson's was silver where Blair's was gold.
'Betsey was my icon as a child. Of course, we love Chanel or Cacharel, but Betsey for young people was our couture that it could be attainable.
'And we could go to the shop, and it was all meant for people like us or people that were a little out of the box,' Blair gushed about the design icon.
She continued, saying, 'But also, Betsey was always a good time. I remember doing cartwheels down the runway, and she was my spirit animal.
'I was always doing cartwheels, too, and I was synonymous with Betsey Johnson growing up.
'Tell my friends, and they knew my mom would take me if I got good grades to New York to go shopping at Betsey Johnson.'
Selma shared a video of the night on Instagram and gushed over it.

She captioned the post with a gushing tribute to Betsey and The Daily Front Row.
'The most incredible night! @dailyfrontrow has once again honored all my favorite icons and presenting to our beloved betseyjohnson with a Lifetime Achievement Award, is a lifetime achievement of mine now,' she wrote.

Meghan shares heartfelt video of Lilibet's fourth birthday at Disneyland
The family shared a magical trip to Disneyland for Princess Lilbet's celebrations. Meghan Markle has shared a heartfelt video of the Sussex family as they celebrated Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday at Disneyland Florida. The Duchess of Sussex's Instagram showed the family enjoying rides at the California attraction, which has drawn heart-wrenching parallels with Harry's childhood trip to Florida's Walt Disney World with Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1993. The video shows an adorable clip of Archie, six, and Lili meeting Princess Elsa, from the Disney film Frozen. Meghan sported a Minnie Mouse hat in some of the snaps featured in the post, while another image shows a two-tier Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake for Lili. Meghan stated in the video's caption: 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' The intimate family footage was reminiscent of photos taken of the duke when he was eight and his mother Diana took him and William to Walt Disney World. The royal siblings were photographed sitting at the front of a log on the Splash Mountain ride, with adults from their mother's entourage behind them and Diana seated at the back. Meghan's post follows a number of family snaps over recent days to mark Lili's fourth birthday, which is June 4. In one, she posted a comedic throwback video of herself twerking in a bid to bring on labour while pregnant with the princess, while another post featured a black and white snap of herself holding her daughter close. In another post, she described how Lili's relationshi p with Harry was 'the sweetest bond to watch unfold'. She shared two photos of the princess with her father the duke, adding: 'Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's youngest child was born on June 4 2021 and was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Meghan and Harry have previously been keen to keep their kids away from the public eye, and usually don't show the little ones' faces on social media. In this newest post, their children are viewed from the back, emphasising the couples' wishes to protect their children from growing up in the spotlight. In one picture, Harry is seen on a kids' ride with Lilibet, and although she is facing the camera, her face is covered with a pink love heart emoji. A source close to the couple revealed to People last year that Harry is especially keen to stop Lili and Archie from being thrust into the public eye. The friend explained: "Harry has been reluctant to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats." Amazon Prime fans rush to binge 'best series ever' that went under the radar
Amazon Prime Video viewers have rushed to binge a new coming-of-age drama series after its biggest fans begged for a second season. Motorheads, a 10-part series, dropped last month and follows the story of a group of young petrolheads and racers who live in the hard-knock Pennsylvania rustbelt. A mixture of The Fast and the Furious and The Summer I Turned Pretty, Motorheads has landed a respectable 75% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The series stars teen drama icon Ryan Phillippe, of Cruel Intentions infamy, playing a former NASCAR mechanic turned struggling auto body shop owner. 'Motorheads is about first love, first heartbreak, and turning the key in your first car,' reads the official show synopsis from Prime Video. And that's been enough for some fans to already be convinced that, despite flying under the radar, Motorheads might be one of their favourite shows of all time. On Google Reviews, Shawna said: 'This is one of the best series I've seen come out in a while! Absolutely loved this show! Left all my other shows for this one and binged Motorheads!' Shannon agreed: 'One of the best new shows I have seen in years! Each actor does a great job. It has a great storyline that is suspenseful, interesting, drama, edge of your seat racing and character driven.' User @EternalFlame said: 'Please watch it. I have watched hundreds of shows and movies, and none have ever made me feel this many emotions! This is the best show or movie I have ever watched by a mile.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Mya begged not just for one more season, but several more: 'Ahhhhh, I love this show so so much please renew it for at least four seasons.' Ryan Phillippe is joined in the Motorheads castlist by Nathalie Kelley, Never Have I Ever star Michael Cimino, and Melissa Collazo to make an ensemble cast of grease monkeys. All 10 episodes are available to binge on the streaming platform, and many fans have already finished the whole thing. Some have took to X to demand a follow-up season. One viewer even went so far as to threaten cancelling her Prime subscription entirely if the show isn't renewed for season two. @AGeorge43838 tagged Amazon's official MGM Studios account and wrote: 'I swear you better have a season 2 of Motorheads. Ryan Phillippe and crew have hit GOLD. The show is awesome. 'Also, if there isn't a season 2 I'm cancelling my prime!' More Trending Many said the finale cliffhanger had left them desperate for more of the drama. @JMorgynWhite wrote: 'My god the cliffhanger on Motorheads was unacceptable without a Season 2 on the track – there is a Season 2 coming, right Prime Video?? Repeat after me 100% binge worthy.' @SaishaStar tweeted: 'Please let there be a Season 2 that was a crazy cliffhanger and I need some answers on the backstory of Christian Maddox. So many Questions!' @Riss286 demanded: 'RENEW Motorheads FOR SEASON 2 PLEASE!!!' View More » Motorheads is available to stream on Prime Video. Got a story? Wrestling icon Ric Flair reveals cancer diagnosis
Ric Flair has revealed that his skin cancer has returned for the second time in three years. The wrestling legend, 76, revealed that he is set to begin treatment next week, only a few years after he was diagnosed the first time. 'It's the second time in three years that I've been dealing with skin cancer. 'I will be undergoing treatment next week,' he told People. The wrestler has struggled with ill health over the years and in 2017, he was hospitalised with early-stage kidney failure and close to congestive heart failure. It was revealed at the time that this was due to alcohol abuse, and his family members were reportedly told he only had a 20% chance of survival. Part of his bowel was removed, a pacemaker was inserted, and the star was put in a medically induced coma to heal. After recovery, Flair has referred to the time as 'My Terrible Health Crisis In 2017'. The WWE Hall of Famer, who is recognised as a 16-time world champion. He previously wrestled his 'last match' in July 2022, but has since made it clear he'd like to do more. More Trending Flair scared fans earlier this year with some thinking he 'wanted to die in the ring' as he revealed he wanted to wrestle in AEW. He claimed that his attempt to return to the ring was thwarted as boss Tony Khan snubbed the idea after learning he was 'on blood thinners'. 'He wouldn't let me in the ring,' Flair – who first retired in 2008 after losing to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania – told the Five Star Podcast. Asked if he has 'one more match' left in him, the veteran wrestler said: 'Hell yeah, I do!' Got a story?
