David Beckham slides into Aussie influencer Laura Henshaw's Instagram DMs
The surprising admission came during a rapid-fire segment on the KIC podcast, co-hosted with best friend Steph Claire Smith.
Henshaw, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Dalton, gave little away at first, keeping the revelation brief and offering no immediate details about what prompted Beckham to reach out.
When pressed by her producer, Henshaw confirmed, 'David Beckham,' and backed it up by providing a glimpse, which was censored, of the Instagram messages she had exchanged with the soccer superstar.
The short video, uploaded to the podcast's Instagram, left fans begging for the full story, with one writing: 'We NEED the Beckham tea!!!'
Another fan wrote: 'Now I'm curious what did Beckham say to Laura!'
'Podcast on David Beckham please Laurs,' said another. While others speculated about the nature of the contact.
While Henshaw chose to keep the specifics hidden, those familiar with her background quickly pointed out that she and Beckham both had business ties with the same health and wellness brand, AIA Vitality.
Posted alongside a video of a remote call in June 2021, AIA Vitality said: 'How does AIA Global Ambassador David Beckham live a healthier, longer and better life? But the next day, Terry Chao, a web specialist who blogs about vegan causes in her spare time, spotted Parker in Prospect Park, recognising the rabbit from a Facebook group where some bunnies had recently been listed as available for adoption. Parker had been hiding in bushes near the Endale Arch on August 4, not far from a cardboard box, said Chao, the online sleuth who helped rescue the rabbit and care for two others that had been part of the photo shoot. She and several other people used a pen with wire gates to help corral the bunnies. Chao said she had also recognised the cardboard box from Sorokin's Instagram feed and that it also had a Yonkers address on it, possibly connecting it to the family who put the bunnies up for adoption. The most obvious giveaway, Chao said, was that someone who had worked on the shoot had earlier reached out to her to scout out available bunnies.
