Michelle Obama and her brother to launch a weekly podcast
"IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson" will address "everyday questions shaping our lives, relationships and the world around us," according to a press release. IMO is slang for "in my opinion."
Some of the guests slated to speak to the former first lady and Robinson, the executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, include the actors Issa Rae and Keke Palmer and psychologist Dr. Orna Guralnik.
Other guests include filmmakers Seth and Lauren Rogan; soccer star Abby Wambach; authors Jay Shetty, Glennon Doyle and Logan Ury; editor Elaine Welteroth; radio personality Angie Martinez; media mogul Tyler Perry; actor Tracee Ellis Ross; husband-and-wife athlete and actor Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union; and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky.
The first two episodes — the first is an introductory one and the second features Rae — will premiere on March 12. New episodes will be released weekly and will be available on all audio platforms and YouTube.
"With everything going on in the world, we're all looking for answers and people to turn to," Obama said in a statement. "There is no single way to deal with the challenges we may be facing — whether it's family, faith, or our personal relationships — but taking the time to open up and talk about these issues can provide hope."
Obama has had two other podcasts — "The Michelle Obama Podcast" in 2020 and another in 2023, "The Light We Carry." Her husband, Barack Obama, offered a series of conversations about American life between him and Bruce Springsteen.
The new podcast is a production of Higher Ground, the media company founded in 2018 by the former president and first lady.

Band 'devastated' after being forced to pull out of Reading and Leeds
An American band has announced they will no longer be playing Reading and Leeds Festival due to money woes. The 2025 music festival is being held this month, with some of the headliners including Hozier, Chappell Roan, The Kooks and Bring Me the Horizon. However, one act has now shared they've had to pull the plug on their set. Sharing the news in a statement on Instagram, House of Protection wrote: 'We are devastated to announce that we will no longer be performing at this year's Reading & Leeds Festivals. 'Most of the funding to make this short trip possible was coming from our performance at the Heavy Music Awards, which unfortunately has been cancelled due to unforeseen and serious health issues affecting a key member of their team. 'Our condolences go out to that team member during this challenging time.' They continued: 'We are deeply sorry to disappoint those who were excited to see us. 'Unfortunately, we simply don't have the resources to make this happen at the moment. 'Your support means everything to us, and we want to assure you that we are already looking forward to making it up to you in the near future (Spain as well). This decision was not easy for us.' However, they ended by telling fans they would be returning to the UK in October to tour with fellow band, Architects. Reacting to the cancellation, many people threw their support behind the band. 'It's crazy that a band this amazing can't keep up with its career for financial reasons. This business sucks. Deep deep love for you guys,' Marco commented. 'So thankful I got to see you at Download, but Reading and Leeds won't be the same without you, hope everyone's okay and doing the best they can. Devastated,' Alex shared. 'Absolutely gutted – missed you at download because of clashes, was looking forward to reading! Will have to catch you another time! Know how rough it is for indy artists,' Christina added. House of Protection formed just last year. Its members – Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison – had originally began their music careers in other bands including Fever 333, Night Verses and The Chariot. They've described their music style as 'Atlanta trap to UK trip-hop, post-punk and alternative and art-rock'. Drag Me to Hell horror film star Lorna Raver dies aged 81
Lorna Raver, best known for starring in horror films The Caller and Drag Me to Hell, has died aged 81. The American actress' death was announced in the In Memoriam section of SAG-AFTRA's Summer 2025 magazine edition, per The Hollywood Reporter. Although limited details were given, it was shared that she died on May 12. Born in York, Pennsylvania, Raver had early acting experience performing at the Hedgerow Theater in her home state. She then moved to New York City, appearing off-Broadway in the premieres of Last Days at the Dixie Girl Cafe and Between Daylight and Boonville. After spending several years working as a stage actress in Chicago, she then moved to Los Angeles, where she continued appearing in theatre productions but also took on screen roles. In 2006 she joined the soap The Young and the Restless for a year, playing concentration camp survivor Rebecca Kaplan who comes out of hiding. But it was three years later when she earnt critical acclaim for playing Mrs Ganush in Sam Raimi's horror film Drag Me to Hell. Written before Raimi started working on the Spider Man film trilogy, the movie followed a loan officer who chooses not to extend the mortgage of the elderly Mrs Ganush, and then has a curse placed on her that involves facing three days of escalating torment before being plunged into the depths of Hell to burn for eternity. Drag Me to Hell premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was a critical and commercial success. It grossed $90.8million (£66million) worldwide on a $30million (£22million) budget. It also won the Saturn Award for Best Horror Film at the 36th Saturn Awards.
