Nicola Peltz branded 'bad influence' as she sparks fury over 'harmful' photos

Daily Record3 days ago
Nicola Peltz has been heavily criticised online as she has been accused of 'glamourising' one very dangerous and unhealthy habit.
Nicola Peltz has been slammed online for her latest controversy which this time has nothing to do with the rest of the Beckham clan. The 30-year-old American actress has been branded a "bad influence" to the younger generation after uploading a string of photos of her "glamourising" smoking in her recent Instagram post.

Billionaire heiress Nicola, who is married to Brooklyn Beckham, has been very active on Instagram this week while she and David and Victoria's eldest son enjoy a romantic sunny vacation. This week alone, she has shared multiple loved up snaps with her hubby, a whole series of selfies and her completely naked bathtub snap which has certainly got everyone talking.

However, among the photos were some even more eyebrow raising images, which showed Nicola posing with a cigarette in her hand. Another snap was a zoomed in shot of what is presumed to be Nicola holding a cigarette between her fingers with two huge diamonds on either of her hands as she sports a sheer dress.

The model's 3.1M followers were quick to spot the smoking content and furiously called her out for her 'irresponsible' promotion of cigarettes.
In the comment section, one fumed: "Why are you glamourising smoking? If you want to smoke, that's up to you. But be mindful how many young girls watch you."

Another sarcastically replied: "Great advice for young people following you, can you also put up a picture of someone dying of lung cancer, after all it is cool omfg."
A third echoed: "Nothing cool about this - geez. Just watch someone die of lung cancer and you'll see why."

Meanwhile, someone else remarked: "Smoking is not cool. Cigarettes are called death sticks for a reason."
Another simply wrote: "Wow.. this could be seriously harmful for other young people looking up to this girl."
A fifth wrote: "Please smoking is so out … yikes."

Somebody else penned: "Why promoting smoking? Twice? You are a bad influence!"
Another follower left a sincere message: "As someone who recently lost someone to lung cancer from smoking a few months ago, there is nothing glamorous nor is it 'aesthetic' or 'vibes' seeing a once rugged man become a shell of himself.

"These photos are beautiful, but also harken back to a time where sexy advertising influenced a lot of people and subsequently harmed a lot of people.
"Sadly my family member quit after decades of smoking the moment he received his diagnosis and died within a couple months.

"TLDR: Nicola looks beautiful cig in hand, but in reality it's anything but beautiful. Signed, a mom who wants everyone to live a healthy life."
The backlash comes amid the Peltz-Beckham's ongoing feud with Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria, which has now also reportedly extended out to his brothers, Romeo and Cruz.
Nicola and Brooklyn snubbed all of David's 50th celebrations in May this year and also failed to publicly wish the former footballer a Happy Birthday.
The pair, who have been married since 2022, also snubbed Victoria's birthday and failed to acknowledge David receiving a knighthood from the King in his 2025 birthday honours.

Kelsey Parker breaks social media silence to share family photo as she heads off on holiday a month after tragically losing her third child

Kelsey Parker has taken a much-needed family holiday one month after tragically losing her third child. Tom Parker 's widow sadly suffered heartbreak in June after her unborn baby - Kelsey's first with boyfriend Will Lindsay - was 'born sleeping.' The last month has been incredibly tough for the family-of-four after the devastating news, with Kelsey sharing that they have taken some needed time out. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, she shared a family photo as she, Will and her two children with Tom - Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four - looked out to sea in a hot location. Kelsey didn't confirm where they were, but she shouted out budget-friendly airline Jet2 for making the process so easy. The doting mum simply wrote: 'Exactly what we needed. Thank you @jet2 for making it so easy. X' In the comments section, she was showered with love by other stars, including Brooke Vincent and Gogglebox's Lisa Baggs. Last month, Kelsey took to Instagram to share her heartbreaking news. She confirmed the loss of her unborn third child, a son she had planned to name Phoenix, one week before his planned due date. Breaking the news in a poem, she wrote: 'The world grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight'. 'We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You'll live in hearts that won't ask why. 'No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You'll journey with us, softly near, in every sigh, in every tear. Taking to her Instagram stories: she added: 'Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. 'But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. 'I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family'. Kelsey was left devastated after husband Tom lost his battle with brain cancer, but found love again last year, meeting Kent tree surgeon Will on a night out and announced their romance in September. The podcaster later admitted to being targeted by online trolls for moving on with her new partner. Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, in their first joint interview together in March, she explained: 'It's been three years, this is Tom's three year anniversary of his death and it's almost like people want me to feel guilty for moving on.' She added: 'I'm always going to have guilt but what's so hard is that Tom's not here anymore so what do people want me to do?', 'Our house was full of so much sadness but now it's full of happiness, the kids deserve that more than anything. 'They've been through so much, I feel like we are taking the steps forward to heal but I just want other women to feel like it's OK to move on, it's not taking anything away from the love I had for Tom.'

I've splashed £1million to get the world's smallest waist -all my organs moved around because of it but I'm not done yet

Aleira wants to beat the record of Cathie Jung, who currently has the world's smallest waist WAIST A SEC I've splashed £1million to get the world's smallest waist -all my organs moved around because of it but I'm not done yet A WOMAN has revealed that she has spent over £1 million trying to get the world's smallest waist. Aleira Avendano, 33 has spent two decades cinching her waist down to just 18 inches, 16 inches smaller than the average British woman's. Aleira's controversial methods have caused her internal organs to "shift and adjust" to new spots. However, despite the dangers, Aleira, who is originally from Venezuela, isn't ready to quit. "I find it challenging when it comes to buying clothes, as nothing fits," she told NeedToKnow. Advertisement "My sizes are unique, and I have naturally wide hips." "I have to have clothes custom-made for me. It's been a major investment – enhancements, treatments and healthy food. "A huge commitment. Honestly, my body should be insured." As well as spending £1 million on her waist whittling mission, Aleira has also spent £471,000 on cosmetic surgeries, including seven boob jobs, four nose jobs and veneers. Advertisement Aleira previously claimed that all woman "should have plastic surgery to be truly beautiful." And despite the health risks, Aleira has encouraged others to try and get a waist like hers. The 45-second trick to get a snatched waist that Love Island star swears by At the start of her waist cinching journey, Aleira wore a corset six hours a day, but she has now ramped this up to 23 hours. Wearing a corset comes with a myriad of issues, such as breathing difficulties, organ compression and muscle atrophy. Advertisement The model has now launched her own brand of shapewear, to help people achieve her "one of a kind look". "My shapewear line will change many lives" she said. What are the dangers of wearing corsets? Wearing corsets, a fashion practice that dates back centuries, can pose significant medical risks despite their aesthetic appeal. One of the primary concerns is the potential for internal organ damage. Corsets, especially when tightly laced, can compress the ribs and exert pressure on internal organs such as the liver, stomach, and intestines. This compression can lead to displacement and deformation of these organs, potentially causing digestive issues, reduced lung capacity, and impaired circulation. Breathing difficulties are another serious risk associated with corset use. The constriction of the rib cage can limit the expansion of the lungs, leading to shallow breathing and decreased oxygen intake. Over time, this can result in respiratory problems and reduced stamina. In extreme cases, prolonged use of tightly laced corsets can lead to conditions like atelectasis, where parts of the lungs collapse due to inadequate ventilation. Additionally, corsets can affect the musculoskeletal system. The constant pressure and altered posture imposed by a corset can weaken core muscles, leading to muscle atrophy and decreased strength. This can result in long-term back pain and poor posture once the corset is removed. There is also a risk of nerve compression, which can lead to numbness, tingling, and in severe cases, nerve damage. While modern corsets are often designed to be less restrictive than their historical counterparts, the potential health risks remain. It is essential for individuals to be aware of these risks and to use corsets sparingly and with caution. Consulting with medical professionals before incorporating corsets into regular wear can help mitigate some of these risks and ensure that any adverse effects are promptly addressed. "It's a gentle product with incredible results, created by me and inspired by the story of my own body." Aleria added: "I don't miss my old figure at all. Advertisement "People react in different ways. "Some follow me, some feel nervous, and others admire me or see my body as something crazy." She added that men "can't get enough" of her "exotic" figure.

Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan shows off painful 'black eye' after surgery

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan - who played Rosie Webster on the ITV soap - showed off her 'black eye' after undergoing cosmetic surgery Helen Flanagan has shown off her 'black eyes' after undergoing cosmetic surgery. The Coronation Street star - who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap - was seen sporting some bruising around her eye in a new post on social media. ‌ The Corrie star has been open about the surgery she has undergone, which at times she has been heavily criticised for. She opened up in 2022 about undergoing a breast enhancement and said it really helped her to get her confidence back. ‌ Speaking a few years back, she said of her decision: "I was quite open here on Instagram in January about my recent boob job. This was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I've really got my confidence back. ‌ "I breastfed in total for three years. Matilda I fed for eight months. Delilah I fed for 13 months. Charlie I fed for 14 months. As soon as I finished my breastfeeding journey with Charlie I wanted to get them done pretty much straight away. I felt like you could tie them in a bow. I had to wait though for six months after feeding and then I went for it in January." She added: "I don't regret one second of my breastfeeding journeys they were precious times. I was a little bit nervous I was worried they were going to be too big for my frame but they are so perfect for me and so in proportion." ‌ As part of her latest treatment, Helen underwent polynucleotide cosmetic facial surgery in her latest procedure. It is a type of cosmetic surgery, which uses DNA fragments to help to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin. It gives a youthful and radiant complexion but can initially cause redness, swelling and bruising where they are injected. In 2019, Helen also decided to have Botox and explained how it has made her feel more confident. ‌ "I felt super tired from having Delilah and I wanted to feel fresher and more confident in myself. I would take pictures on my phone with the kids and would be shocked how much older I looked where in my head I still feel like I'm 20," she said. "I'm so happy with my Botox and if you're like me and still want to look 23, then it's a good idea." Just a few weeks ago, Helen recalled how she was verbally abused by a man on the Tube for standing up for another woman. She explained how the woman had been harassed by the man and when she stood up for the woman, she was verbally abused too. "He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him. He said to me, it was like the weirdest thing he could have said, 'You've got so much Botox in your forehead', and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, 'I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw,'" she recalled.
